I have beeen coming for years. It is conveniently located for me. The front desk staff is delightful, but the some of the trainers are not very nice. I've had a few altercations with them. They try to block access to the stretch area, even though as per corporate in writing the stretch area is to remain open to "all members at all times" It is overall clean. Avoid coming in between 5-7 if you want to do cardio. They have a variety of classes. The bathrooms are always a mess, but that's not really the staff's fault. read more

I signed up for personal training sessions with this gym and it was a 6-month contract after the 6 months were up I tried cancelling the training sessions, but it's been over 2 months and they haven't cancelled it, so I am being charged for something that I want to cancel and I'm not even doing anymore. Basic necessities for a gym are met yet the staff doesn't do more than sit at the counter on their phones. The gym smells bad in multiple areas, if it weren't for the members retacking their weights, weights would be scattered everywhere. Bathrooms smell and a toilet is out of order, no hand soap. There's a reason this gym has such low ratings. Here is my experience: I was new to the gym life, I've never been to a gym and actually stuck with it. I got a personal trainer to help me learn quicker and become healthier. Unfortunately, I was scammed out of $800 for training sessions that I never even WENT to or agreed for! The "contract" that they call an agreement, was never shown to be, emailed or printed out, I was told of the details it entailed by the personal trainer working with me. We both agreed I would do one month and see how it goes but he already had on my contract which I was able to get a hold of AFTER the charges were made, that my payment would rollover until a cancellation agreement is made. A 30 day cancellation period is the minimum which means even if you begin the training sessions for example August 2nd, then canceling it for the next upcoming month you would magically have to cancel it 30 days prior to September 2nd so you wouldnt get charged for the September month! But according to corporate, there is no way to sign up and cancel it on the same day, so either way you're screwed paying for two months no matter what! This is a scam and everyone looking at what gym to go to I advice you and beg you to look someplace else! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND ENEGRY IN THIS HORRIFIC PLACE! I used to love going to this gym 4 years ago when I started out. Lately it's been getting worse. Theres almost never any soap in the bathroom, and the bathroom always has an unpleasant smell that reeks. The gym is always packed now at all times of the day. This gym has a huge people problem. Weights are never re-racked and I find myself having to go on a scavenger hunt to find any weights extending my workout time from 1hr to 2. On top of that a lot of the people that go here will hog up 2-3 machines at once super setting which is extremely selfish and a huge inconvenience especially when the gyms are packed. I used to be able to get my workouts done efficiently but not anymore. The gym is also very small which is not really anyones fault but I don't know how its meant to accommodate the overpopulation of Hialeah. The parking is horrible, people shopping at the sedanos leave their carts all over the parking lot so good luck on a windy day but again that not the fault of the gym. Most of the time theres a truck blocking the entrance to the shopping area behind La Carreta. This gym has so many inconveniences that I'm debating driving 30 minutes instead of 13 to go a gym in Pembroke Pines. I would leave a -5 star rating if I could. This gym is garbage. Dumbbells are scattered everywhere. Plates are all over the floor in places where they shouldn't be. No one picks up after themselves. The employees don't do anything to enforce reracking weights. They just sit behind the desk and watch their phones. There's no cleanup at the end of the day. There's barbells missing as well! Most of the machines and benches are not maintained and probably causing injury over benefits. Will be leaving this gym and moving to a better one soon. read more

As much as I loved this gym. I have been coming here for over three years and it has progressively gotten so much worse. The trainers are incompetent and very rude. The employees don't do much. It is like they are just getting paid to hangout. Granted they are women but they need more male employees OR able bodied women that can actually organize and rerack weights. The defining factor for me was the fact that throughout this pandemic they have taken little to no precaution they have no one cleaning or wiping down any equipment. I went Saturday night around 8 and it had manyyyyy machines open. However, a few pieces of the equipment were shaky and needed obvious servicing. The bathroom looks old and it's showers are extremelyyyyy small. The lockers are also old. It seems as if they kept some of the equipment from Porky's which was there previusly. YouFit is a good gym to be a member of if you're not willing to spend more than $20 a month on a gym membership. For the $10 basic membership fee here, it's an okay gym. I've been coming to this gym for over a year, too. The variety of machines is pretty good. This YouFit has made good use of the available space. However, it should have included more of the popular machines, such as squat racks, bench press machines, and abdominal machines. The bathroom is poorly lit and is usually dirty. The staff here cleans regularly though, so I think it's more the people that use the bathroom than the lack of cleaning. In regards to the staff, they are pretty friendly and helpful overall. There are some members that work at the desk that will never even greet you when you check in though, so obviously that's never a good thing. Keep in mind that these people see my face everyday, I forgot my card to get in so I went in with my friend with his lime card (because they have a strict policy with these cards) and they asked me for my ID. Updating my review, the staff here are deceitful and upper management does not care how their staff act. The sales associates at the front are free to scam you out of money under false pretenses and corporate will do nothing about it. I recommend going to a more trustworthy place, there's plenty around. I've been going to youfit since it was Porkys more than 15 years ago. So many things have changed and not for the better. The first thing I wanna point out is the hours of operation: Before the pandemic they stopped being 24 hours which was already a big deal for me, but I went with it. During the pandemic they opened and went little by little increasing the hours of operation but got stuck on 11 pm. Are you guys thinking on keeping it until 11 pm forever now ? Because before corona you guys where open until 1 am and now since Monday April 12th the curfew is over so what's keeping you from taking it back to 1 am? Next thing I wanna point out is your staff! I can't speak for all of them because honestly most of them are really nice, but man there's thing young lady who really either needs to get another job where she's happy or just realize that the people that enters that place are PAYING to work out there and should be treated with respect and if she can't do that she should find a job where she's not annoyed the whole time, that's my advice to her in case she reads this. Lastly some of the equipment needs repair ASAP, there's a 60 Lb curved bar that hasn't been replaced in I'd said years so you are forced to go from 50 to 70. I'm sharing this in hopes that you guys will actually work on it so I don't see myself forced to switch gyms because of something that could be so easily fixed. read more

This is probably the worst Youfit establishment that I've ever worked out at. For starters, 50% of the machines aren't working. This means that there are two stair masters & I have never seen both of them functioning at the same time. There are about 10 treadmills in total & over half of them say maintenance is required on them. I wish I was exaggerating about this but unfortunately, there don't seem to be many quality machines. The room with space to do floor exercises usually has weights scattered on the floor & this gym is always jam packed. They used to be a 24 hour gym & now they close at an earlier time but that's fine with me since I usually work out in the mornings. The trainers are pushy & I was coerced to do a few training sessions & ended up being charged for over 3 months of training even though I trained for a total of 4 times. They said that I had signed a contract & there was no way to go back on it so I was obligated to pay. When I was signing, they didn't explain any of that to me. I was told I was signing for some sessions & they told me the up front price & that was all. Turns out the person that made me sign doesn't work there anymore so that was pretty ironic. All in all, if you're looking for a gym that has machines that work, space to do your free weight exercises, or you're just looking for some room to stretch, find another gym. I'm currently attending LA fitness just 5 minutes away & I would pay even more than I am because of all of the amenities, equipment & hospitality. read more

I've been struggling with losing weight and want to make a change. Awesome friends (Keivin, Abram, Anthony, and Diana (oops I mean dyana) ((even though I never met her, I know she would be an amazing tremendous , outta this world friend)) who work here told me to sign up for this gym. I called the store and a male picked up. I was asking questions and instead of talking to me about what deals this gym has, he simply directed me to the gym website. I was confused because it seemed as if he didn't want to be on the call with me nor seemed like he knew what to talk about. I still signed up for this gym and have been happy with "most" of the workers. Gym is good. also I walked into the gym and saw this famous worker who I've seen on my TikTok #keepthegrindup #irespectthegrind #getyabreadup@lisa.mariee1!!! There was also this fine young gentleman who I saw was bald... It made me think ab my own life decision... I struggle with severe hair loss (kinda like lebron James / Kevin Durant) and I've been deciding to follow in his footsteps. Honestly think it's gonna be a game changer. but at the same time, being big and bald isn't a good combination... ALSO, when Im running my cardio ( did .8 miles in 26 mins.. gym is good) I was wondering why was there were gigantic weights, (I think they were 85? Idk I failed my SAT) and I was in confusion. I saw these 2 workers (my awesome tremendous friends Abram Alejandro Garcia Suarez and Keivin Ernesto Fernandez Ramos) pick up these plates with ease as if they were feathers. Let me start off by saying that this is a great $10 a month deal.....if what you want to do is go on a scavenger hunt every time you need weights. Members consistently throw weights all over the place and aren't told anything by the staff. These members should be told to re rack and not throw their weights around. If they fail to do this then they get kicked out. It's as simple as that to fix the problem. But I bet they are afraid to lose business but I guarantee they will get more business if they started doing this as there are a lot of people looking for a nice orderly gym in Hialeah. It's all about word of mouth that will get more people to join this gym. I would tell my friends to join with me but after 3 months of being at this gym I'm already looking for a replacement and shouldn't be here much longer. The morning and afternoon staff are nice and try their best to put weights back but in 5 mins the weights are everywhere again because members aren't told anything! At night the staff literally doesn't move from the front desk and it stays a consistent mess on the floor. Also there has been around 3 broken machines for a month and nothing has been done about it. And with the way members treat the equipment I see more broken machines coming. Also the water fountain is super hot all the time. Talk about a complete transformation...from great to horrible, Porky's gym was probably the best gym in the Hialeah area. It is a complete mess with dumbbells all over the place, people not racking their weights back, and to top it off it's over crowded at all times of the day. It seems like the crowd from LA Fitness on 49th moved here due to the cheaper pricing. Porky's had three squat racks in a designated leg area before, now they are down to two in the middle of the gym floor and are constantly being used by people doing everything except squats. No gallon jugs or gym bags allowed, round plates that were great for deadlifting are now replaced with hex plates. I can't wait till the month is over so I never have to step in here again. :) read more

You want to go to a club where your membership is handled like a bag of rotten potatoes or the managers don't want to take ownership of the mess ups caused by the ineptitude of the employees? well look no further, come to this place and have it their way. Cancelled my membership beginning of the year and now in October i get a call from collections because i owed them money due to never cancelled my membership. Seems like the employee of the year downgraded my membership rather than cancelling it, why you may ask well because she just felt like it i guess. I had to go back again and pay close to $50 to cancel not once but twice my membership because you guessed it... the employee of the year did not processed my cancellation as requested. But wait when i asked about the name of the person that did this whole mess whom btw was promoted to manager guess what happened? Yea nobody wanted to give me the info... stay away of this location and even further from the manager "Lisa" whom a a whopping height of 4'5 had the guts to tell me "Your Welcome" in a very sarcastic way as i was I was walking out. read more
