I used to go to this gym when it was Porky's and it was pleasant. I decided to come back and I'm disappointed with how the classes are managed. I arrived for a 6:00 class and the "instructor" didn't arrive until 6:10. If that was even him. He didn't acknowledge anyone. I walked out. There were only about 5 other people that were going to attend. This blew my mind since when I used to come to classes back when it was Porky's it was jam packed. I liked the fact that I could come in at whatever time I want, disappointment that it's not 24 hours anymore. Very bad business move.

I've been going to this gym for a month now. The Youfit members are always available and helpful with any of my needs. It's always open 24/7 and has all the equipment you need for a good workout. I don't understand all the bad reviews this Youfit club has gotten. Your getting your dollars worth. read more

The front desk service is very unprofessional. I entered the gym and the manager told me to come through. Since the front desk personnel were talking among themselves, they did not see that he already let me come in. Then they screamed at me (one of which was named Raul) asking where I was going since they weren't paying attention to what the manager had already just done. They did all of this in front of all of the gym members at 8pm in the gym. This is something that was most unprofessional and shouldn't happen, let alone in front of many people. read more

Horrible customer service, they charged me 42.00 extra recently after I had canceled over two months ago and said someone put it in the computer that I wanted to continue so I was stuck with that charge, and I had a trainer which I was paying 400.00 a month for and didn't get to use the last month because my daughter had an accident and is currently undergoing knee surgery and recovery for the next 9 months. They didn't care brushed it off as its not their problem and still charged me. read more

I like the set up and environment of this youfit much better than the 79th street location. Its also 24 hours which is great. The only downside to this gym are its members. They are HORRIBLE here. The staff allows people to work out in jeans, flip flops, whatever they never say anything. The members dont rerack the weights or any other equipment they use. Its always crap laying all over the floor. Its such a hazard just walking around. It takes hours for the staff to pick it up. They are usually just standing around talking to each other or members. Its been multiple times where ive had to stand in front waiting for someone to finish their conversation before theyve come to check me in. Not to mention the worst part, the females who come in a full face of make up to stand around watching their boyfriends workout crowding the workout areas. With a ton of perfume!! I have never realized how nauseating the smell of perfume can be inside of a gym. It doesnt help that the ac usually is on low as possible. This gym is more of a hangout meeting places for the Hialeah residents. These are all non issues at the 79th street location as the staff is extremely thorough. This gym would receive 5 stars if the staff would take better care to ensure the rules were enforced. read more

This gym is horrible it's like planet fitness. They put the Ac to 82 degree and that's too High! i talk to a manager about the issue and they didn't do anything to solve the problem. This cause me too get dizzy because i do high intensity exercise, however; when it was Porky's ( best gym in hialeah) they usually put the ac 70-72 and I never got dizzy. read more

Horrible... There are only like 30 lockers total... A truly unforgivable locker room setup. And these lockers are essentially see through so if you have Hialeah douches that put a lock on an empty locker to "save" it for the next time they come in...and I'm talking 8 of them just now that are completely empty, but locked... You need to cut them off immediately. No excuses, an empty locker shouldn't be locked for any reason. They have signs that say they cut them off after 24 hours but that's not actually happening obviously and clearly speaks to a significant problem with the a-holes that work out here. The girls at the desk laughed it off when I asked about the large number of empty and locked lockers.I actually have a job ladies, and have to try and sneak in workouts all over S FL as I travel and Really need a locker for my clothes, bag, wallet etc. I pay extra to use all locations and really hate pushing myself to workout after work to face locations like this one that have given up on trying to make this a place where "you fit in". As a business traveler, I decided to try different gyms since I need a gym more nationwide accessible. I signed up to a trial for this location and pines. I don't usually take the time to do reviews for gyms but decided it is imperative that management see this. When I first walked in I noticed the restrooms was among the most filthiest I have ever seen at a gym. I understand that the consumers are mainly to blame but appearance was a negative impact at first. I then went to go on a treadmill and about 6 were occupied so as I went down the aisle to find an empty one, the rest were ALL out of order. That's basically half of the treadmills. I then continued to go on the stair master instead, the first one (closest to entrance side), had a malfunction that almost caused me to fall off twice. This is a major liability issue and needs to be addressed ASAP. I was VERY disappointed and had no motivation to even be there. This is by far, the worst gym from start to end I have ever experienced. I also just found out they aren't 24 hours anymore. If management does not make serious changes soon then this gym will continue to lose consumers. My intent was to sign up for both planet fitness and youfit since combined prices is cheaper than 24 hour fitness, but I will NOT be returning to this location after the horrible experience. I really hope management takes these complaints and the ones before mine seriously to prevent themselves from negative future consequences. read more

First of all let me say I live 2 miles from this gym and would rather drive 10 to go to the one in Pines off of Hiatus. This is the 4th YouFit I visited (Pines, Coral Way and 122, FIU, and this one) and by far the worst. The clientele there is typical cubano balsero fresh off the boat lifting weights in knock off Converse and jean shorts (I'm CubanAmerican so no bias here just truth). They stand around talking the whole time and never bother to re rack their weights or Dumbbells. The staff is off in la la land and too busy to realize the gym is a fucking mess. If this was the first YouFit I would've gone to I wouldn't have joined at all. This location is Planet Fitness 2.0. STAY AWAY. read more

gym air conditioning sucks, it smells like shit, the trainers don't speak English . Cheap old and smelly

Okay so let me start off by saying that this gym is 1000 degrees. The heat is unbearable. I come in as a guest and i was gonna get a membership but you can bet anything that i will not give a dime of my money to a gym that cant even give its customers proper air conditioning. Second of all the general manager is a douche bag. I approached him about the air, he was not understanding and was extremely rude and he was like at this point its not up to me anymore. I usually go to the youfit in pines and i love it. I decided to try youfit in hialeah and i have been going for about a month now and I must say this is a GREAT location! Extremely friendly staff and really organized gym. Staff was constantly picking up weights and always very courteous. Bathrooms were impeccable. I hadn't done that free session that they give in pines so i did it in hialeah and i must say the personal training staff is really professional. read more
