We ordered the hangry breakfast, which came with French toast, eggs and potatoes, the salmon burger and the chicken & waffles. It's a good thing we ordered so much becaus the chicken and waffles only comes with 4 wingettes. We ordered water but were told they were out of ice. Instead my wife ordered a $4 CANNED SODA because that is the only thing they had cold. $4 for a can is insane by the way. Since we were the only ones in the establishment we expected the food to come quickly but that seemed to take 20-25 minutes as well. Our food eventually arrived. The French toast was good. Flavorful but small. Sandwhich bag slices of bread. The potatoes were clearly from the Walmart frozen foot section. The eggs were ok. My wife's waffle was cool however the chicken was BLAND and SEASONLESS. We didn't even finish them. For $18 I expected more. The salmon burger was by far the best thing there. A thick cut of salmon that was flavorful. We should have gotten two of those. The waitress was nice. The food is overpriced. I should have known when we walked in and the place was empty. Not sure how they stay open having brunch without alcohol but to each is own. One and done for me as a neighborhood guy. The food isn't great and the prices are high. No reason to return.

And the pancakes, were very obviously pre made and microwaved. Additionally - the meal I ordered is listed to come with a bread, eggs, a side and a meat. I asked for bacon, and was told the owners don't eat pork. I asked for the chicken sausage.. 5 minutes later the server asked me if I wanted the sausage spicy or not. Then when she brought the bill, there was a $4 up charge for spicy sausage that she neither told me, nor was it on the menu. And to make matters worse - the sausages were not spicy and were actually just flat out nasty. This is a SAD excuse for a restaurant. We waited approximately 20 minutes to be seated, which was understandable during a busy lunch period. However, once seated, we waited another 15 minutes or so without being greeted or offered water. Having worked in food service myself, I believe one of the simplest ways to acknowledge guests is to touch the table quickly, even if the server is busy. A greeting and water communicate, "We see you, and we'll be with you shortly." This is especially important during the summer when guests may have already been waiting outside or in a crowded lobby. When we eventually asked for water, the response was essentially, "Oh, you wanted water?" That surprised me. Water should not feel like a special request at a full-service restaurant. Because of the delay, we placed most of our order at once. Unfortunately, nearly everything then arrived at once too: water, appetizers, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and other items. I had intentionally ordered two different drinks expecting to enjoy them at different points during the meal, but instead found myself with three beverages and food all competing for attention at the same time. Nothing about the server was rude. In fact, she was very sweet and pleasant, which is important to acknowledge. My concern is more about training, pacing, and attentiveness. A restaurant meal should feel like an experience, not simply an order being delivered to the table all at once. I was also surprised to see the suggested gratuity begin at 20%. I have no issue tipping well for good service, but when a restaurant prominently suggests that level of gratuity, I believe the service standards should consistently reflect it. Guests should feel cared for rather than feeling that a tip is expected regardless of the experience provided. Ultimately, I packed much of my meal and left sooner than anticipated. The food and overall concept are enough that I would absolutely give this location another opportunity, but the hospitality needs refinement. This review isn't intended to criticize one individual server. I hope management sees it as constructive feedback and an opportunity to reinforce some of the fundamentals: acknowledge the table, offer water promptly, communicate when there is a delay, and properly pace food and beverages. Sometimes the smallest hospitality touches make the biggest difference. I'd love to see this location get those details right.

At that point, we looked at the limited snack menu, decided dinner was happening elsewhere, and let the host know we were leaving. The one server who did eventually stop by apologized and volunteered that the bar was just slow to get drinks out. At least someone said it out loud. The number of empty tables confirmed that plenty of other people had already figured this out on their own. The setting here is genuinely good. The views are real, the space is well-designed, and there's no reason this shouldn't work. But the service infrastructure clearly can't support even a moderately sized group on a slow night, which is a significant problem for a place marketing itself as an events and reservations venue.
