Excellent food, it's all good. The seafood combination or fried wings ! Fried rice is incredible.

Well, I've been Eddy's Carryout fan for oh my gosh over 10 years. I'm sad that they discontinued the shrimp fried dumplings. But my son got the pork dumplings. He asked for them fried so I guess there was a communication barrier there. We called in our order. We did get the chicken and broccoli Wonderful staple always can't go wrong there. A large white rice always great can't go wrong there veggie they're veggie spring rolls are delicious always always always just need a little duck sauce a little bit of soy sauce perfection. I got a couple of shrimp egg rolls because I'm not a big shrimp eggroll eater. I ate them, but my mom had one tube she had half. The ambience of course it's always crowded so that's why we called in our order. And we got two half-and-half half iced tea half lemonade mix it's always great. I do think my only suggestion is I know they have a lot of foot traffic but provide a little more seating because sometimes people have medical conditions that require them to eat and you know diabetes in their blood sugar drops so it would be nice to have just a couple more tables and chairs. I know it's a very small space but because it's such a stable I feel as though they could get a couple of more booths and chairs. That's my only suggestion. read more

My first time back in a long time. Quick service and tasty food. Veggie spring rolls come 3 per order. Size of rolls were larger than other places AND you get 3 so that was a plus for the price. Egg foo young was delish, with lots of gravy. Condiments were placed in bag without asking and they are not selfish with packets. I often come to the carry out when I want some good for with good service. Anytime I come here they guys at the front are polite and courteous. They take my order and often give recommendations if I asked. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. I never had a bad experience at this restaurant and that blue drink is always on point. Been coming here for at least 12 years and the food has always been great. The half N half is hands-down some of the best I've ever had in the DMV and I'm from PG county born and raised! Service has always been friendly and I've never had any issues with my food. While I don't eat at this location anywhere near as often as I used to (gotta watch how I eat now lol) This place will always have a special place in my heart whenever come to PG county. read more

Eddy's is KING of all the Chinese food spots around in the area!! & being a foodie I've been to Kenny's, golden bowl, hunan china by the dominos and jerry yums!... it's my Go-To for all things especially whatever crack they put in their half & half's lol I'm always down to relapse for. Anyways as of lately I've been getting their Egg Foo Young during lunch ! Which ends at 3:00pm . Talk about Portions!! No matter lunch or dinner it's the same size they NEVER skimp on the shrimps either every bite is a shrimp also note that on the shrimp & Broccoli!! ... the gravy is heavenly and they give you more then enough to cover your eggs and all your rice!!.& to lick your container lol. Any body out there had Food Poisoning fron Eddie's in Largo Md. on February 18th 2025 ? I ordered Shrimp and Br4Uoccoli with rice ate half of it, 2 to 3 hrs later I had very bad stomach and abdominal pain. Started vomiting a lot all night . I ended up going to the Doctor and was told I had Food Poisoning. Day 3. I started having diarrhea. When I called the Carry out I was told I can get free food for a month and my money back for the food that was purchased. I was very sick from eating food from Eddie's Carry Out. read more

Nice people...love seeing the younger generation running it and they do it well. The food is tasty and good quality. It's clean front and back. No mystery meat - the beef is actually cut beef steak and the chicken is actually chicken. The shrimp is deveined. Can't go wrong with anything from here tbh. I'm leaving this 5 star review even after my order was the wrong soup on a Monday holiday (they are usually closed on Mondays). I purchased about $70 worth of food. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME visiting the carryout. I read the reviews & heard about how good this place was. I even asked a patron after she paid for her food. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! I first asked if they carry Mumbo sauce for the fries chicken wings. I was told, "yes" so I ordered some. Well, when I arrived home & ate, I noticed that there was ABSOLUTELY NO Mumbo on my chicken wings & none off to the side. I also asked to have my French Fries cooked hard & crispy. They were not. My bag was packed TOO tight, so I couldn't go through the bag. I WILL NOT be going back. I paid too much for even the smallest error for a new patron. I came here because the other mommy's in our neighborhood kept talking about how good the food is. I've been looking for another Chinese restaurant that is closer to home so I decided to try them out. My first impression was great. When I called, the gentleman on the other end of the line was super polite. I ordered 3 wings and fries and shrimp & broccoli. Pretty simple order, nothing extravagant. The young man who answered the phone was at the front counter when I arrived. He was on the phone taking orders, still very polite. As I waited for him to finish up, one of the ladies in the kitchen was giving me a nasty stare. Like wouldn't look away nasty stare. I should have let that been my warning to just leave. Who stares at customers like that? But I decided to stay and pay for my food because of the nice young man. I wasn't going to let one bad apple spoil the bunch. The wait wasn't long maybe about 3 minutes. When he finished the call he had already had my food at the front before I arrived, I paid and left. When I got home, I took the food out of the bag and that the shrimp looked light in color. Not light in a sense of it wasn't cooked well but light like something was wrong. The broccoli looked a little light in color as well. I decided to put it away and have it the next day. It gave me pause but I didn't think too much more of it. Fast forward, when I put it in the microwave to heat it up, out came a horrible stench! Like a rotten stench! The food was spoiled! I was disgusted!!! Why is it that this only happens with Asian carryouts? I wouldn't even give spoiled food to a dog much less a human being!!! And then on top of that, make them pay for it, full price! Like who does that?! I'll just have to go back to our usual spot that we've been going to for ten years. I was just hoping to find something closer. Note: MSG is a real thing that businesses use to make food look and smell good after it's passed it's expiration. This is one of my favorite carry out restaurants. I love the healthy section of streamed vegetables with steamed chicken or shrimp with the sauce on the side. The team there is very friendly and will let you customize your order and have the sauce on the side for nearly anything or change the sauce to something different. read more

As a person who has been patronizing this place for 25 years plus, this place has changed so much and not for the better. I used to tell people this place had THE BEST chicken and mumbo. But I can no longer saying that. So let's talk first about portion size. Over the years the wings have constantly gotten smaller. Which health wise isn't so bad, but we don't eat this because we want to be healthy. But the wings now are so small and the prices keep going up. The wings now look more like drummetts, or better yet miniature versions of the real chicken wings they used to sell. The amount of fries you get in a small fries has also changed. It used to be that the container was so full they had to put a rubber band around it. Now you get so few, not only can you lose the container with no band, but you can actually shake the fries around in the container. So much room in there to move around. Smh. So the value of going to my local carry out is no longer there. I seen this happen at another local carry out, Jerry Yum's, and aint been there since. And I have been giving Eddy's a pass because of how long I been going there. But the following is the deal breaker. They no longer use the same mumbo sauce. The sauce I got yesterday was trash. It was runny and they barely put any on the food. The sauce is a major part of the experience. Without good mumbo, it's just basic ass wings. Which wouldn't be bad if the wings were great. But they are not. Besides the wings being so small, they taste horrible now. This used to be my go to. I would have folks travel from all over PG county to our local and my favorite wings and jumbo spot, but I can't do that anymore. If you want good wings and mumbo and are near FT Wash, go to Eddie Leonard's in Allentown rd near the giant. They will take care of you. Easy five starts for me ! For a Chinese take out this is my go-to spot. Always satisfied and food comes in amazing portions. The chicken in the sesame and general chos is actually real chicken breast also they don't skimp out with the shrimp in the fried rice. Beside Chinese food there hamburgers and steak and cheese are bussing ! Deff recommend the sesame seed chicken tho , that's really all I order from there , also nice and clean establishment read more

The fish sub didn't disappoint! $12 for a whole one. I get 2 meals out of it. Fish is fried perfectly, not greasy! It was so good I went back 3 days in a row! I was having part for dinner & part for lunch. On one of the visits I tried the Jumbo Fried Shrimp w/ Fried Rice. Omg!! 8 huge shrimp, meaty, not too breading & not greasy! Again 2 meals for $9! Next time I got the Jumbo Shrimp again but with Roast Pork, extra $4. Hubby wanted to try the Steak & Cheese Egg Rolls but they were disappointing! First they were Spring Rolls & skinny! Barely any steak or cheese in them. Tasted plenty of onion! These are 3 for $6, never again! Overall though it's a great spot. From Lo mein to steak and cheese subs, everything from here is good. I usually get a couple steak and cheese egg rolls with my order. Since the elders have left the kitchen, the food quality is not as good. It is better than most of the Chinese food in the area, though. My last order was 9/15/2022. I got chicken and broccoli in white sauce. This is the third time that they made the white sauce inedible. They make it so salty. So, if you are getting anything with white sauce, you'll need a high tolerance for salt. I threw the dish in the trash. read more
