Tried this place out on a whim as they were nearby. I had the tofu fried rice and asked for no egg and they met my request easily. I also ordered the red bean paste Chinese donut balls and they were amazing! Not something you'll see everywhere either. Unfortunately I only got to eat one of the 4 as my dog is mischievous ;( Food was well packaged in a stapled shut styrofoam container, with two soy sauce packets and a fortune cookie. I have heard a lot of good things about Young's Chinese Food on a local restaurant social media group I'm a part of, but never thought to try it for myself until our go-to Chinese spot was unexpectedly closed when we tried to order. I looked up Young's menu, and was able to easily place an order online. The food didn't take long to be ready to be picked up, and when I went inside to grab it, the staff as friendly and pick up was a breeze. As for my meal, we went with the crab rangoons to start, and then for my main dish, I got the sweet and sour shrimp and upgraded from white rice to egg fried rice. Everything was good! So flavorful and fresh. Overall, I liked my experience a lot! Any place that makes the online ordering process simple is great in my book. Also, the food was great and the menu had a ton of options. One complaint I do have is that I didn't see a dinner combination on the menu. I would've liked to see a combo with the main protein, fried rice, and an egg roll all together like I see at a lot of other Chinese restaurants, instead of having to order it all separately or upgrade the rice. Don't sleep on this place! So delicious and very friendly staff- family run. I ordered a large order through their online ordering system through their website. It was very easy and you receive text updates about your order. It said that the order would be ready in 30 mins (and we ordered 4 entrees 2 appetizers and rice), and it was ready within 20 mins. The food was all packaged very nicely and in a box for transportation. Everything was amazing- great portions too. Favorite Chinese take-out in Detroit metro area!!
