    C5. Sesame Chicken -- delicious!!!
    Cristina B.

Loved my first experience at LC's Asian Kitchen! The portions were amazing and the chicken was crispy--exactly how it should be. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean. The crab rangoons were also perfectly crispy (and you get six!), and the sauce tasted fresh and homemade. Even the fried rice, though simple, was really flavorful and delicious. I really enjoyed the sesame chicken and my boyfriend is already giving rave reviews about their sweet-and-sour chicken. Highly recommend! It's close enough to the freeway that I am willing to make the longer drive. We opted for a carryout this time, but look forward to dining in the future.

Easy to order. Affordable. A classic place. I was craving a simple chicken fried rice, and that's what I received. Orders are completed in a timely manner. It makes for a great take out place. The portions are large. It tasted great. I'll be returning.

Normally we carry out. But on this occasion we decided to dine in for our first time. Excellent and friendly service. The food was fresh, hot and the chicken was crispy. I think we will dine in next time! We had the general tso chicken and the almond boneless. The servings were so large we probably only needed to order one.

I randomly just wanted some shrimp egg foo yung. Did a random search, and looked at the start reviews, now here I am! Service was quick and the food was amazingly delicious! It was so fresh tasting. I was so hungry, but the food was too hot to eat immediately. That's how good it was at first bite. Also, service was impeccable! I'll be back!

Dined with my family and everything we had was really good! Definitely a family owned business and had the cutest young lady who helped us and actually took our order and got everything perfect. The quality of the meat was much better than most other Chinese restaurants in the area and the chicken was juicy. I did get a carryout weeks afterwards and they weren't as friendly but it was within the hour of closing. I do wish it was closer to our house but will go back to try other things.

Food was okay overall. Did not get sauce for almond chicken, so that was pretty dry. Fried rice and egg drop soup were good. Egg roll was mushy. Counter service was pretty rude when picking up order. First time here so not sure if that was a fluke or a regular thing.

The noodles were thick and toothy with a savory and especially tasty sauce. The combination of shrimp and scallops was buttery. The vegetables had a natural earthiness. I also loved the green onion pie (a.k.a., scallion pancake). The dough had the ideal weightiness to complement the gentle green onion flavor. I will definitely return.

And whoever mops the floors must have an irrational childhood fear of cleaning corners. Although the floors themselves are clean, each corner has a disgusting black buildup of filth. Likewise, the sinks in the bathroom. They have not been cleaned well in a very long time. Food: the beef roll pie is delicious. The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.

Service (4.75/5): Our main server was very friendly and gave us a good overview of the menu as it was our first time. They were great and attentive. We were also served by a second server who dropped off our food and disappeared so quickly that we waited a while before they walked by again. When we finally got the chance to ask for soy sauce and sauce dishes, they grabbed the soy sauce from a nearby table and left before we could even get to asking for the sauce dishes. Nothing terrible, but we did feel a little awkward. Food (4/5): Sushi was both good and not good. Of the 3 rolls we ordered, the salmon avocado and tuna avocado were solid; the proportion of fish to rice was great and the fish quality was above average from your typical sushi restaurant. However, the Tigerlily was quite disappointing, especially at $22 for the roll. The roll was torched a bit too long, cooking the salmon almost all the way, but my main gripe was a mysterious creamy sauce that was drizzled on top. The roll ended up being way too heavy and the sauce overpowered the salmon and the little bit of ikura that was sprinkled on top. On the other hand, the chicken katsu sando was really excellent. Chicken was juicy, breading was light and crispy, and the fries were well-seasoned. My only suggestion for the kitchen is to slice the sandwich vertically instead of horizontally; you can see that the bread on half of the sandwich was mostly crust/air instead of the actual bread part. Ambiance (4/5): It's got an upscale, modern feel to it that would probably make a nice environment for a date night or catching up with friends over happy hour. I was there on a Tuesday evening, so it wasn't crowded. There was music playing but it wasn't too loud, so it was easy to have a conversation.

Interesting. The deviled eggs are yummy with the crisp chili. Not sure it's $14 worth though. I could easily get a 6 deviled eggs halves at holiday and throw some chili oil on top for $6. The feta wonton is yummy. The flat wonton is a nice riff on this app. It's a thin mini flatbread. Super crispy. Hot honey is always yummy. The general tso's cauliflower isn't my favorite. The breading is heavy and parts of it is super crunchy and hard, not just crispy. The imposter burger was so-so. Nothing special. The fries are thin and crispy, they are good. The mushroom bulgogi isn't too bad, maybe better if the shiitake wasn't dried. It tasted rubbery, which is usually a trait of the rehydrated dried mushrooms to me. Decent flavor. Love the ginger seasoning. The sushi rice isn't as good as I expected at all. Mushy. The house salad is okay, nothing fancy or unique there. Needs something notable for the dressing, tasted too plain. The banchans are so-so for an Ameican spot. The cucumber and broccoli aren't doing it for me. Kimchi is kimchesque. Service was good. Experience is unique.
