I've only been here 2 times and the first time was phenomenal for a manicure and pedicure, they also did a really nice job with my friends acrylics and they ended up lasting her a month. I got a classic pedicure done yesterday and I showed them a picture of the color I wanted. It was a cherry mocha color. They ended up not having it, but the guy who was doing my pedicure worked with me in mixing and matching colors until I got the color I wanted. Vibes are a 10/10 and service is on spot. I came with my mom, 3 years after a horrible prom-nails experience, and I am SO GLAD I gave it another chance! I got Emma and my mom got a very sweet younger girl named Lee. Emma was an absolute dream. She paid extra attention to detail, took her time, asked me reassuring questions, and even gave me a nice extra hand-massage with the cuticle oil! I highly highly recommend her! I've gotten my nails done over 30 times and this has been the best experience so far. For reference, I got SNS nails with plastic tips (the green almond shaped pictures). I absolutely adore the outcome. They look super natural and thin, yet they are super strong and definitely staying on for a while. My mom also got SNS nails, but in coffin shape and a bit longer. (The darker maroon set). They are beyond rude here--don't come here. There's a girl named Lee who usually comes to the front, and she is very rude and unwelcoming. Then there's an older woman who did my nails, and she was so rude and unfriendly. I've been back three times this week because my nails keep falling off. Frankie, however, is always welcoming and good, but it's hard to get serviced by him because he's so busy. Besides him, everyone in this establishment is just nasty and rude, and they treat everyone poorly. read more

I had a gel mani done on Saturday. Tuesday it's peeling off. I come in Wednesday and she tells me they can't fix it cause the guy who did it isn't here. And if she fixes it she'll have to charge me. My gel polish is literally peeling off. I asked can you at least take off the gel cause it's catching on things. They put my fingers in acetone and leave me sitting here. Spacious nail bar in Suwanee. Place is clean and has a ton of stations for manicure and pedicures. They also have a ton of polish color options for regular mani/pedi and gel. They got me in right away which I appreciated. When I went to their hand washing station I noticed some pretty big clear jars filled with different lotion colors and scrubs. If was near to see some of the products they used for some of the pedi treatments. Nancy and the Allure Nail Bar team were great! Friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time with Nancy. Also, felt their price points were pretty good. I will definitely be back for my mani and pedi. They are located in the same plaza as Sprouts and Orange Theory Fitness. They're used to me by now. They know I need that callous remover! Lol. I like the location and I usually like the SNS on my nails and regular polish on my toes. Having been staying in the hospital caring for my dad my nails had grown out and I was past due for a fill and a pedicure. The gel was on my cuticles on multiple nails. It was lumpy. And within two days it was turning from a pretty pink to a brown. It has now peeled off on 5 nails. Within less than a week. Uneven, gel peeling off, not all the same shape? Not acceptable. This is my favorite nail salon. I've tried other nail salons since moving from Duluth to Atlanta, but still come back here because I have yet to find a place that does a better job. The environment is always clean and peaceful and HGTV is always playing on the TVs, which I appreciate lol. I have gotten SNS/dip powder nails at other salons, but it has always been thick, lumpy, or not adhered to my nails properly. Michelle did my nails today at Allure and they look amazing! She suggested I try a different color since the one I initially picked out would have been lighter than the look I wanted to achieve. I also like the shape she suggested for me. I've been getting acrylics for years and this was not a good experience. I asked for French and the pulled out cheap white tips - instead of painting them on. I asked why and was told "it was cheaper". They set lasted less than 10 days before lifting. I live very close so it's a shame but I won't be back. read more

I went about a month ago to get a gel manicure and it last for 3 weeks! I did have to clip them because they were getting too long. I was a little disappointed because I originally wanted yellow on my fingernails, but I had to change the color. I was still satisfied with the new color and result so it was fine. I went again today to get a pedicure with callus removal and the lady did so well. (Finally got the yellow I wanted) Both the ladies were friendly and Korean (a comfort zone for me). The people at the front could work on being brighter, friendlier and louder when they speak. One chipped Sunday, another on Tuesday. Went back Wednesday to have those fixed and a third chipped Wednesday night... usually I can go 3 weeks before any chipping! I walked in on a random MONDAY to an empty shop. I was told that I could not be serviced because I didn't have an appointment. Oh that's a first! Because 2 weeks ago I walked in on a SATURDAY and received immediate service, but I digress. So I made the appointment for 6:00 pm and left. 20 mins before my appointment I received a call saying my appointment was cancelled for emergency. There was no apology, appointment rescheduling or explanation. So I decided to drive back to the shop and low and behold, the shop is still open! I really wanted to like it here, but it is questionable whether they properly sanitize equipment between each patron. My nail tech actually trimmed and filed her nails before doing mine..with my tools. The most "sanitizing" I saw was a very superficial wipe down of the tools with acetone and a towel (the one my hands were resting on.) Additionally, the nail file used looked very well-worn, and should probably have been disposed several patrons ago. Additionally, the nail polish color I had chosen for my basic manicure appeared to be running either very low or very dry, thus requiring the tech to add drops to it (out of my sight) to help thin and make the color useable. I think at this point I should have simply chosen another color, but I didn't, which was my mistake - I had problems with the color chipping as soon as I left the salon. When I turned around and asked for it to be fixed, the nail technician was EXCELLENT in her efforts to do so - but an hour and a half later, I'm typing this with a chipped up thumb... oh well. That was my fault. The staff were wonderful, extremely accommodating, and paid great attention to detail. I'm just a little sad that I spent an hour and a half at this place for results that I am not satisfied with. Edit: The owner of this business reached out to me promptly after I had published my review, to inform me of their sanitizing process and that they do, in fact, care very much about sterility and allow for their equipment to soak in the back for an adequate amount of time. BUT - that doesn't account for the scraggly-looking, disposable nail file they used. Come on, those aren't too expensive to replace. read more

My first time at Allure and you walk in to a calm and relaxing atmosphere. My mani and pedi experience was fabulous. Totally enjoyed it. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars would be because my check out experience was really 1-star. The receptionist allowed others to check out/in and ignored me standing there. It took away from my experience because I started to feel as though somehow she either didn't want to be bothered with me and rather deal with a certain clientele. It completely ruined my experience. Walking in, everything looked great. But I got a gel manicure and after only 36hrs, one of my nails completely peeled off while I was washing my hair. It was a clean peel, but couldn't believe it after only 36hrs from a gel manicure! I didn't do anything out of the ordinary, just washed my hands. I went in on Saturday for a gel Mani and Deluxe pedicure. Today is Wednesday the gel is completely gone from two nails. I found one complete peel in a hand towel and the other is who knows where. I should have read the comments prior to visiting the salon as another client experienced the same issue. In addition, the color I selected had a matching set of gel and polish. It was my first visit to this nail salon today and it was amazing ! Joann did my nails and she was extremely friendly and knew exactly what I had in my mind . My nails turned out so beautiful and trendy . I was hesitant because I never try new places but she did the perfect coffin shape with ombré polish . I had a pedicure done by Jennifer who was amazing . I have issues that usually are painful when I get a pedicure but when Jennifer did my pedicure I didn't feel any pain . I went here for a quick gel manicure. I really wanted to love it because it is so close to my house. The manicure itself was great and I had a good nail shape, but then when it came time to the gel polish it was not good. The manicurist painted it on my cuticles, so I knew it wasn't going to last long. As you nail grows it pulls it and that part starts to chip :/ which is exactly what happened in just 2 days. By a week, the part near my cuticles were completely chipped and coming off and I kept having to clip it. I ended up peeling it off myself. And the gel polish peeled off so easily. Usually you have to soak it to get it off or pick at it for a while. Maybe doing regular polish manicure here would be more worth it. I do have to mention that usually after you get the top coat on a gel polish, the manicurist will file down the sides. That didn't happen. while i was paying, I saw a huge flap on gel polish that I had to ask to be filed off. Siiigh like I said, I really wanted to like this place. 3.5 stars... Because they are way too expensive.. but the people are nice.. I got a pedicure, full set, and eyebrow wax. My full set turned out nice. I got gel so it was around $42. My pedicure was decent. But I got the "deluxe" which cost about $37 so I wanted the message to be longer.. I hate paying so much only to feel slightly rushed.. the eyebrow wax was $12 and it was bad. I found this place on yelp , it's a little far from where I live . The envirmenf is really nice and clean , so I give a try with firend. The lady work on me was terrible , no greeting and she was talk to other people all the time . It was loud I can't even enjoy . All my toe nail look extremely uneven .
