Called to ask about a part I was looking for. The person who answered the phone couldn't help me, so he got the 'owner'. That person got on the phone and said to me, "I've got a line of customers waiting and can't talk on the phone", and then hung up. I get it that bike shops are busier than ever these days, with people turning to biking as one of the few safe and fun things to do during the COVID-19 crisis. But if someone was too busy to talk on the phone at that moment, I think it would have been more courteous to just say so and ask me to call back later instead of just hanging up. read more

Horrible experience! My wife and i stopped in because they are located on the rail trail, and I lost an SPD clip for my shoe. i asked if we came to the correct door and if they had a store we could shop in? We were answered with an attitude and a statement saying " we don't let anyone in there is this thing called covid you know" Then when my wife asked about the bikes hanging on the porch with price tags we were told they were all bikes in for repair. By the way if you are so concerned about covid at least wear a mask or just shut your doors until the government tells you covid has gone away! We visited 2 other bike shops and multiple other retail shops in R.I. with and attitudes and we were able to walk around and shop. We will never recommend this place, or go back!! read more

Answered the phone on the first ring, confirmed he had the model and size bike we wanted in stock, had it ready to test drive when we arrived, and it was $30 less expensive than other Raleigh dealers. Art, who has owned the store for the past 22 years, clearly takes pride in the service he provides to area residents and those who traverse the adjacent Rhode Island bike path. He was more than willing to install a bell right away, adjust the seat, instruct my daughter on a few bicycling basics, and send a co-worker outside to assist me with my previously unused automobile bike rack. I made a new friend in bike repair recently. Although I only had a flat tire when I walked into the shop, Art stopped working with some bikes he was repairing, said hello, and asked what I needed. I told him I had a flat tire, and he told me that there was no problem in fixing it. He put it on his stand and fixed the tire in 2 minutes flat. He showed me how to fix it, and the new tire cost less than $15. I know that he didn't need to show me how to fix my tire, and, quite frankly, that he's probably lost quite a lot of prospective business with people that know how to fix their bikes (probably more than tires) and don't need to rely on him to do it for them. But that doesn't matter to Art. By the way: As it turns out, credit card companies charge businesses a percentage of your sale amount if your pay in credit. If you're planning on making a purchase there, try to pay in cash. I did, and I was told it was much appreciated. read more

Your Bike Shop is fairly small, and the selection of items isn't huge. However, it has enough of a selection to satisfy most people. I adore the bike I got there. Art, the owner, is a great guy -- very friendly. His prices are reasonable, especially his prices for repairs. He's been in the bike business for a very long time, and he's very experienced. Having him here in Warren is a great convenience. I'm giving him 4 stars only because his selection of products isn't that large. Otherwise, I'd give him 5 stars in an instant. In late 2010 Art told me that he is going to enlarge the store, but as of 2014 that hasn't happened. read more

I don't think I've ever had such a pleasant experience at a bike store. Art, the owner, assisted me and my mother in picking a bike. While the prices are definitely more expensive than Walmart or such, the quality is much higher and you're bike will last much longer accordingly. In addition the service is unbeatable. If you are biking near Warren RI and need a tune up the shop is conveniently located right on the bjke path. I purchased a DiamondBack mountain for his birthday. The purchase was made in October, 2015. The bike came via UPS. I purchased online because I believed I was getting better price. ( not). After contacting the Diamondback( people who were not any help,) took the bike to Your Bike Shop. Art was so knowledgeable. At the same time he was professional, polite and knew so much about bikes. I stopped by your bike shop looking around for a bike. Having a 22 year old mountain bike meant that I was not up to date on new technology. After answering a few questions from Art, He set me up on a bike and let me test ride it. I did not purchase the bike from Art as I needed to check around and see what other bike companies had to offer. After visiting 8 different bike shops I ran back to Your Bike shop and Art as fast as I could and purchased the one bike he set me up with. Art is very knowledgeable and sells a bike for a very reasonable price. His shop which is right on the bike path is very convenient if there are any issues with your bike. I have seen people come in and Art will fix anything he can whether you bought the bike there or not. If it is just an adjustment or air, Art will usually just send you on your way free.
