I arrived to clinic around 2:50pm for my 3pm appointment. Was taken into room at around 3pm and was told to wait. At around 3:12pm, I walk to reception to ask how much longer and was told that Heidi was "finishing up her appointment" so I go back to room and wait for another 15 minutes. At 3:28pm, I walk back out to reception to let them know I cannot wait any longer and begin to queue outside the bathroom which is next to the reception desk. At this point, I see Heidi escorting her client out to the reception desk. I hear the receptionist tell her that her 3pm client has been waiting and Heidi responds "I wasn't told she was here" or something along those lines. I then proceed to follow Heidi into the room to collect my coat/purse to leave and Heidi is super aloof not apologetic in any shape or form and says "well I am available now if you are able to stay" and I reply "No, I have been waiting for 30 minutes. I was told if I was 10 to 15 minutes late that my appointment would be rescheduled but it's OK for you to be 30 minutes late???" As I was walking out, not one person made an effort to explain the tardiness, apologies for the inconvenience nor offer me an alternative solution or at least a refund for the consultation fee. Someone behind the reception desk did make sure to say "Thank you so much, Sasha!" Three days later, still no calls from L&P but I did receive a follow up email. Just got off phone with answering service requesting a refund,. Received a call back from receptionist within 5 minutes, they left voicemail stating refund has been processed. Again, no apology, no effort to rectify situation. Your time means nothing to them.

My time with Dr. Roy and the RefinedMD crew has been incredible…read more I'm sharing this because I was terrified before surgery, unsure if I'd picked the right surgeon, so I'm hoping this will help someone who is feeling that way. Social media makes it hard to distinguish between a 'famous' surgeon and a truly skilled one. I found Dr. Roy on a random Facebook find. Despite that random start, I felt immediately comfortable with him during my first consultation. He understood my goals immediately and he explained the process and expectations clearly. Still, I worried if "comfortable" meant "the best," but after two other consultations, no one else compared. He didn't upsell me on a lip lift, full face lift or upper eye blepharoplasty, which I appreciated. So we agreed on a neck, lower face, and brow lift. For context: I'm 55 and felt my neck looked 70, even though my face passed for early 40s (I was told ;-)). I felt like I didn't need a lot of work on my face. Hence, I was scared of looking "overdone" or worse than before. Dr. Roy is incredibly skillful - I am stunned by the results. My husband even says I look younger than on our wedding day 17 years ago! The result is so natural. I just look like my old self. The team (including Christine & Alex) is genuinely kind--not just "customer service" nice. Beyond his skill, the care was personal. Dr. Roy gave us his personal cell number and responded instantly during those first few days after surgery when my husband reached out to him with concerns/questions. My advice? Follow every pre & post-op instruction. They aren't optional. The first few days are tough, and you definitely need help, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Dr. Roy is a top-tier surgeon who doesn't need a Beverly Hills office or flashy marketing to prove it.
