Alex was referred to us by Diana at Hawaii Vista Weddings. Like many other COVID weddings, my fiancé and I had to make some major adjustments to our original wedding plan. We weren't suuuuuuuuper last minute, but it was definitely (in my opinion) cutting it close with finding vendors that we liked and that could accommodate us. In steps Alex! He was very easy to communicate with both via e-mail and in person. I was a little nervous about photo and video during our wedding because my fiancé and I are awkward and weird as f---. Alex was so professional throughout our entire process. Our elopement ceremony was filmed at sunrise on Lanikai beach on Oahu. We decided to get the videography as our family were not able to make it to the ceremony due to COVID-19 and the pandemic. The video turned out AMAZING, it is well worth it. We have the somewhat now-typical COVID wedding story where we were supposed to get married in Hawaii in December 2020 but then we decided to push the date back a full year. On top of that, we experienced another unfortunate occurrence that was somewhat common as a result from the pandemic. Not only did the first videographer we booked have to close their business, but the second one we picked also had to close their business as well. At this point, my husband and I were going into panic mode and we had to start from scratch to find a videographer that met all the criteria we had sought before (lighting, movement, vibe, etc.) Luckily, our photographer recommended Alex. I run a sound/lighting/DJ/Special effects company and I wanted to create an informational video in order to show our clients our brand new LED wall service. Its a newer service that not a lot of people know about so I needed it to have good balance between being informational and being hyped up to get people excited about the service.
