She's so friendly and she listened to what I wanted and delivered EXACTLY what I was envisioning: long layers with long face-framing pieces. Leslie's laidback but professional demeanor made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for a sophisticated yet effortless cut, Leslie is the one for you!! With a keratin treatment and toner (plus having long hair), pricing is definitely on the higher end but it is WORTH it. I came in with multiple reference photos for what I thought was a pretty straightforward style: layers, curtain bangs, and a blowout, with about 3 inches taken off my base length. Instead, I essentially left with 3 inches taken off and a few layers in the front that didn't translate into the back. I was also disappointed to find that their version of a blowout was simply blow drying and curling the hair, which was not what I was expecting based on my photos. More than anything, I wish they had just been upfront and told me they weren't comfortable doing this particular haircut. When I showed the stylist my photos, they gave me several reasons why certain techniques or the style itself wouldn't work for my hair. I would have much rather known upfront that they weren't comfortable executing the look and waited to see my regular stylist. I also should have asked to see some of their previous haircut work beforehand as none of their work is similar to the photos I included here. I really tried to be understanding throughout the appointment, but unfortunately, I left with a basic haircut that wasn't what I asked for and a result I'm still dealing with weeks later. Just a really disappointing experience overall.
