My Iphone 7 was dropping calls on a phone conference call (not Zoom). After checking with Apple support, I stopped in to see if Chet and Rob could help. Both were welcoming, and Rob checked out my phone. He couldn't find anything wrong-the phone seemed fine. Park Avenue, is a team of superheroes. The first superhero I met was Daniel, who was very respectful and attentive. The rest of the superheroes were Motty and Niran. All three were extremely kind and extremely smart. They worked together as a team to help me. As an experienced teacher, I believe this trio should train staff at other Verizon stores in New York and Long Island. The most important thing is they never made me feel silly or small. What an amazing experience! This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write such a positive letter to Verizon and it is all because of Daniel, Motty and Niran's kindness. They exemplify the best qualities every Verizon employee should have. However, I have not experienced this same level of compassion at any other location. Bravo to superheroes Daniel, Monty, Niran! Super helpful guy when we asked all our questions about the new iphones and the pricing since Verizon no longer has contract based plans. It was quiet, just some kids coming out of school, but he took the time to sit with us and type in all our numbers/info. Nimran tried to sell us a sim card for $30 even though Verizon gives them out free. When we pointed this out to him he agreed to give it to us for free. Also, service was slow and he tried to upsell us despite our being clear from the beginning about what we needed, which was to take advantage of an offer from the corporate office. Nimran claimed to know nothing about this offer so he could sell us the latest phone instead. He actively worked against us. read more

This place has issues. I thought the people are incredibly nice and they are. However, they are crooks. I went in there three months ago to fix my broken phone. Since I was out of contract, they convinced me that my phone was old and I agreed to upgrade. I took the phone they suggested at a cost of $550. That phone lasted less than three months. When I brought it back under warranty, I found out that the model was over two years old - about the same age as the "old" phone they convinced me to upgrade. Furthermore, they are going to replace my phone with a refurbished model! So I am paying $550 over two years (plus they make you pay the $80+ in tax up front) for a phone I could have bought anywhere else for $50. They are nice and friendly as anyone scamming you would be. My advice is that Verizon is expensive enough, do not let them take even more advantage of you. read more

I don't write reviews for telecom, tech, computer, or corporate companies. I never have reason to because I find customer service and inefficient troubleshooting a serious flaw within these sectors. HOWEVER, when something is done with care and people possess the correct tools to service the problem and problem solve, it should be recognized. If you're in Long Beach, NY and you need a Verizon store for a new deal or to tackle an existing problem, THIS is the store you want to go to. A Knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous staff made my experience a PLEASURE. (I can't believe I'm using that word) They helped me find a phone, coordinated with with the activation team over the phone directly, and ensured the phone was functioning properly before I left. Any doubts and preconceived notions of walking into a nightmare and being filled with DREAD were completely cast aside. I wish ALL customer service experiences could be like this. (Please NOTE: this review is specifically dedicated to this store and this staff and not an overwhelming testament of love for Verizon (which I find horribly inept and inconsistent on the whole-unfortunately) BUT, now I know there is great potential for mass improvement. These guys should be given a raise and conduct there own training class. I hope VERIZON recognizes this. read more
