Unfortunately, the iPad has never worked the same since. It goes dark automatically/randomly for a second and I have to wiggle it to get it to turn back on. I have brought it back to Kimi twice - the first time he fiddled with the settings, restarted it - I was hopeful, but the problem persisted. The second time, he replaced the glass again (free of charge) and now the problem is even worse - the screen has several air bubbles and is frequently unresponsive & still turns off randomly, usually when I am working with a client and need to show images. It is also a lot darker than it should be (even at the highest brightness setting). JUST BE AWARE: that it might ruin your ipad/iphone irreperably. At your own risk.

I went to the street talk in Roosevelt Field mall directly in front of AT&T, and was helped by the male tech there whose name is something like "RanJan" I went on my lunch break and was able to wait and watch him actually do the repair. The price was pretty reasonable/competitive and they did offer me a discount since I had more than one thing being serviced. In any event, they fixed a screen apple wouldn't fix and it was less than it would have cost me if apple did do it. Unfortunately, about a week later there was an issue with the battery I was given (it must have been defective) and it pushed up and broke the replacement screen. I brought the phone back and he called the owner and the screen and battery were replaced again at no charge. Thank you again for your great customer service and I will be sure to come back to you if I ever need my phones repaired in the future.

We then gave the phone to my son for Christmas and when he opened the box, the phone no longer worked when we went back. It was after their luxurious 15 day warranty. And they wouldn't help us at all. They wouldn't even look for the repair ticket in their computer system unless we had the specific date of the transaction which sounds like the most outdated computer system on the planet. You should have seen the look on my 12-year-old son's face when he realized that he wasn't ever going to be getting that phone for Christmas. So now I am out $170 and I have to figure out how to get him another phone. What a waste. And I love the fact that I was told that they can't help because the warranty is 15 days. The warranty being 15 days is a piece of paper with words on it. Anyone is allowed to be helpful if they so choose.

My ipad mini dropped by accident and the screen was cracked. It was still working fine except the glass was broken and you could easily get cut. Again, everything was working like normal and the screen was just cracked..that's all. The ipad was brought in for repair on a dead battery because I forgot to charge it. I get a call from the guy here who said the ipad was charged up and the crack actually caused a black spot on the screen. If I wanted this fixed it's an extra $75. I told him I played with the ipad numerous times after it fell and there was no black spot. He stayed quiet. He probably thought I never saw the screen after it fell...not the case. I told him no, dont fix it and I'll see what he's talking about when I pick it up. Went the next day to pick up and saw the round black spot. I told him this was not there when it fell. Again, he said nothing. I told him how did the black spot appear and he said from the drop. Um, no thats not the case and I told him this wasn't there. Again, he said nothing. Once I got home my husband was very upset and called the location. He spoke to the guy and told him this was a crappy job he did and asked how the spot appeared. He actually told my husband the spot got worse after he opened the ipad to fix it. Clearly the spot appeared after you attempted to fix the glass. Why should we pay to fix your mistake????!!!! He never offered to fix his mess. What kind of customer service do you provide? None apparently. We actually thought bringing my device here was a mistake and we shouldve went to kings plaza mall and had the kiosk people fix it or even my neighborhood guy who does good work with apple products. Then one day after, the speakers, and microphone were disconnected of the computer. I called him again,and he told me his price was again $ 350 plus taxes. So, it is difficult to pay $ 800 dollars for a job that is done in one hour and 5 minutes. I understand inflation is high but there should be some kind of consideration with the customers. In any case yellow pages advertises the charge of $150 per hour, and that does include the commute of the technician to the site. In conclusion I got another technician who came to add the speakers and microphone to my computer in 15 minutes, he charged me $140.00dollars. I do not recommend this busines.
