Glowing online reviews led me to Yours Cafe across the Woodley Park Metro. Waking in, you'll notice the large space with tables near outlets throughout. To eat, I got the pistachio and chocolate croissant. Unlike other croissants, the pistachio was more of a custard. To drink, I ordered a hazelnut latte. There are restrooms in the back. Service is kind.

The food is always great. This place is a neighborhood gem. It's a great place to just hang and chat .

Great little hip modern coffee shop and cafe inside of an old building in Adams Morgan on the on Connecticut Avenue across from the station. The cafe offers quality pastries and food, in addition to a variety of coffee drinks, mostly Ethiopian and French. There is live music as well sometimes, which happened to be soft jazz when I came.

Cute little cafe with outdoor seating. Stopped by here on a Sunday morning for a quick bite to eat and really enjoyed the breakfast toast. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you, but service was pretty quick. There was plenty of seating inside and out. Would definitely come back here if I'm in town again!

Very delicious! The ham and goat cheese toast was yummy and the Matcha latte was satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive.

Glad to have this cute little breakfast cafe open across from the Woodley Park metro! I especially like that they open earlier than most at 7 - I stopped by twice, once for a pistachio croissant and once for their Nutella beignet. Both are very rich. I've heard the coffee here is lovely, so I'll have to come back for that. Prices were very reasonable and the owner was lovely. Always happy to have somewhere new in the neighborhood!

    Amazing coffee

Yours cafe has become a weekend tradition for us! All of their dishes are tasty, filling, and healthy! We have gotten the chicken toast, salmon tart, lemon chicken salad, and shakshouka - it is some of the best shakshouka I've ever had! We also enjoyed the hibiscus tea and black tea - the black tea has nice floral notes and I highly recommend. Our server Tina is always very kind and helpful, and the chef is very friendly! The cafe itself is cute and comfortable - a calming, pleasant experience all around.

Kadeeja met me outside the restaurant and I asked her, "Tell you what. Come inside and see!" Wow, AMAZING! They roast their own Ethiopian coffee beans (sooo smooth, sooo yummy!) BAKE their own pastries and make all their food to order with pride. Wow! Who knew a place like this could exist. I'm a food and coffee snob. I don't write reviews. BUT THIS PLACE IS EPIC, no kidding. Make "YourCafe" yours. You will be amazed! Seriously.

A MUST SEE! Yours cafe is a wonderfilled black owned female led small business that is destined to become an instant success! The amount of planning and detail truly inspires. Her hard work clearly shows the owner's true passion for life and others. Food: sophisticated and varied. World class chef trained staff brings the joy of a meal to your table. Service: great service. Greeted with a warmth that has become a thing of days gone past for most. Ambiance: slimlined design that instantly transports you to a Parisian esq' atmosphere.

My main issue here is with a manager I presume she was. The steak and eggs I had ordered came with a hair on the side of the potatoes. She stopped by shortly after our food came to ask how things was and that is when I brought up the hair. I just asked for the potatoes to be remade. I understand hair happens but I was not thrilled when she insisted on remaking my entire dish. I gave up after the third insistence after I repeatedly said it was fine, I just want new potatoes. My original dish was delicious (I avoided the potatoes of course). Steak and eggs were cooked to perfection. However, my new dish was horrible. I had a feeling it was going to be awful as it's expected the new dish would be rushed whenever the original dish gets sent back. The steak was chewy and not medium cooked. Overall dish was very salty. If they added another seasoning I did not notice as the salt overwhelmed it. It also appears they doubled portioned everything but the steak. I would have much appreciated the original dish with the hair in it. I had expressed this to Arti and he was sympathetic. He was unknown to the issue I had with my dish. At that point I didn't really want anything more from here. Just the check and to leave. After that whole incident, I would have assumed my order would have been discounted or taken off the bill. That was not the case. She also vanished from our sight since taking my food back. My mom ended up not enjoying her meal either. She had the French omelette and thought the mustard was a rather overpowering touch to it. My mom was also surprised my meal was still on the bill. She was going to complain but I withheld as it truly is not that deep especially since the manager didn't care to come back to check if the new dish was satisfactory or not. I was given a warning not to go here by my friends and boy did I wish I listened. I wouldn't come back on my own accord but to eaches own. This restaurant will most likely stay here forever given its amazing ambiance and ease of location.

We didn't have reservations, so the wait for 2 around 5:30 on a Wednesday night was about an hour, but we decided to grab seats at the bar instead and got full service almost immediately. Huge shoutout to Matt, our bartender, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Service overall was exceptional from start to finish. We started with the fried calamari and beet salad, which were both excellent and a perfect way to kick off the meal. For entrees, we had the steak frites and the New York strip with potatoes au gratin, plus a couple draft beers to wash it all down. Everything was fantastic, and the portion sizes were very generous. The building itself is part of the experience. It feels historic and full of character, with multiple dining rooms and four different bars that each had their own slightly different ambiance while still keeping that classic historic pub vibe. For a full dinner with appetizers, drinks, and entrees, expect around $100 per person -- but honestly, the quality, atmosphere, and service made it feel well worth it. Definitely a spot I'd come back to anytime I'm in DC.

I was curious to try one of their best sellers - monkey bread, and it didn't disapoint. A solid breakfast with on point service before catching the metro to Virginia.
