I've had take out from here many times and it's mostly a neighborhood take out place though it's been here for years. There is a dining room with maybe 10 tables but the decor and ambiance is rather stark, with basic vinyl tile floors, laminate tables, and in desperate need of updating so I can see why there's not more inside business. A bit of paint and art would really help lol but I do take out mostly anyway so it's not a big deal It's family run place and the food is good I usually get sesame chicken or Mongolian or Hunan dishes with spring rolls and maybe hot n sour soup - I'm not sure if they offer delivery but I'm sure you can use Uber Eats If you want regular Chinese take out it's a decent place read more

I live close by, and have been regularly visiting this restaurant for takeout for many years, and the food has always been good. A very dedicated family owned business. I'm giving 2 stars only because my Mongolian beef tasted good. I ordered a plate special which included a egg roll which wasn't very good , fried rice which was horrible, and Mongolian beef which was good. My friend ordered a shrimp special with a egg roll and fried rice. We both agreed this was a mistake stopping here to eat. They have all of the tables pushed together on one side of the room so it looks like they don't want anybody eating inside. There was one table that was dirty and I said are we allowed to sit and eat , they said yes , and they wiped it clean. We grabbed our own menus , and we ordered within a few minutes. This little, family-owned Chinese spot is great. They have large portions packed with flavor. The shrimp egg foo young comes with 3 large omelette pieces and a light brown gravy, enough to split really. I also enjoyed the steamed dumplings and the wonton soup. It was a pleasant surprise to find this place. The price is very reasonable and the food is good. Highly recommend it.

As always, the food was fresh, well-prepared and very tasty. This is one restaurant where the kitchen is not hidden from the customer and you can marvel at the skill of the chef. We always order carry out and they make that breeze, with very creative packaging that protects the food very well. Hot and Sour Soup, Egg rolls, chicken fried rice, house Egg Foo Yong, vegetable stir fry, chicken with vegetables...each had its distinct flavors that complemented the others nicely. Don't let location next to a gas station fool you, they do have good food. We have been here several times and it is always pretty good. The food does come out hot, the staff is friendly and it's pretty good. The reason for the three stars is it is nothing special, nothing to crave and is not bad. The quality always seems to be there and it is ran by a family who is always there working. You may even see the kids doing home work out in the dining area. The dining area is small so most people pick up and go. So all in all it's not bad and I'm still in a search for great Chinese food in GA. read more

We were vacationing in the lake Lanier area for new year and searched for Chinese restaurants in the area they exceeded our expectations.. we had a party of 13 and they catered large portions for is and was ready as promised. Most of the time when you stop by their children will be there doing their homework. Very good people. Whenever I don't feel good, I crave their soup. My family likes to get takeout from Yuan Li. They have an excellent chicken with vegetables my children enjoy, and for myself I get the same thing in vegetarian which is called bean curd (tofu) country style. Their food is very delicious and has a clean healthy taste. Soups are good too. The menu is vast with many choices. read more

My fiancé and I love this place. It is the only good Chinese food place that is not terribly far from our house. We drive about 25 minutes and it is worth the drive. Having been raised in NYC's Little Italy, I spent lots of time in Chinatown exploring the cooking styles of the various regions of China. Yuan Li is by far the best, and most authentic Chnese food I have had in the Cumming area. The combination dinners are perfectly prepared and the portion size is more than adequate for the largest of appitites. I passed it a couple of times without even realizing that it was there.Service is friendly and typically fast. Price is priced standard for dinner time. But lately, I've noticed that they put in the same filler vegetables (i.e., white onion, carrots, celery) in many of their stir fry dishes which has got me looking at other Chinese restaurants in the area for when we are wanting Chinese for dinner. Last night my boyfriend and I ordered from here and ate our usual food, when we were finished eating we both got very sick, like food poisoning. I called the restaurant today to inform them of what happened and the guy owner laughed at me and told me it was just a cold, when I explained to him that it was not, he became very rude to me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. But the quality of food is not on par with the Bay Area. Don't get me wrong, the food is not bad but it is not on par with what I spent 20yrs eating.
