I came in a week ago to get my nails done. they were busy so i could tell she was rushing. didn't really do my cuticles so they don't look the best now, they seem grown out even though it hasn't been very long. According to them when you make an appointment you need to specify a technicians name to assure they fufill their appointment time in a professional manner. This place is a joke! read more

Visited this salon today because my usual salon was unavailable. What a mistake! I was the last customer of the day, and the staff couldn't make it clearer that my business was not appreciated. First, the manicurist was bothered by the fact that I asked for him not to use the drill on my nails to get the old gel off. He was scraping my nails very roughly to the point that I was concerned that he would cut into my skin. Next, I asked for a gel manicure and the manicurist REFUSED, ABSOLUTELY REFUSED, to provide what I asked and insisted that I only have a change of color. The manicurist made it clear that he needed to go home and the manicure would take too long. After several minutes of going back and forth like this, I gave up and consented to only a change of color. He said he would do a manicure next time...wow!! He really thinks I'll step into the salon again after being treated like this??? Seriously, consider any and all options before getting your nails done at this salon. Consider doing them yourself or having your kids do them for you or hiring a day laborer from Home Depot to get the job done. Consider letting your nails grow out like eagle talons or wearing Michael Jackson gloves for the rest of your life! Today I called and made an appointment to have a manicure and pedicure done. I've come in multiple times with great service. Today was a completely different situation. My appointment was with someone new. She hurt me so badly. During the cuticle remover. She cut into the heel of my foot with a nail file. In all my years, this has never happened. I repeatedly told her that it hurt, yet she kept going. I pulled my foot of her hand and asked her to stop. She proceeded with the rest of the pedicure. When she got to the manicure, she actually managed to pull the cuticle away from my nail. How,I'm not sure. I told her that it hurt and she kept going. She managed to do it to 3 more fingers. I told her it hurt and asked her to stop. I told her to just to polish them so I could go. She put a ph bonder on and I almost started to cry it stung so baldly. I told her it hurt and she kept grabbing my hands and put the rest of the top coat on. She then tried to apply gel. I had to tell her 3xs I didn't want it. I desperately needed my nails to be cleaned up for work and at that point, it was too late to try and go some where else. she applied the nail polish up onto my skin and and the burning was terrible. I raised my voice and said that it hurt. She kept reaching for my hand and I kept pulling it away from her. One of the other girls told me to wash my hands. I managed to get one of the regulars off by herself and asked her what she wanted to do to proceed. She told me to wait and someone else would finish. I went to get my things from the station and the lady kept grabbing my hands and trying to get me to sit down. I told her no and she wouldn't listen. I told her to stop and asked the receptionist to pay so I could leave. I had to pay full price for my manicure and pedicure even though I only have a few nails painted and am in a great deal of pain. I asked the receptionist if I still had to pay and the lady came over, pushed him out of the way, and finished processing the payment. No one came to my rescue. No one even got up to see if they could help. I can barely walk on my heel and my cuticles are still bleeding. I have reached out to the California state board of barbering and cosmetology. read more

After 24 hours my gel polish completely chipped off on 2 toes. Tried calling and their phone never seems to work then when showing up to get them fixed they acted like I'm putting THEM out and had me wait for a really long time. I've come here many times and this has never been the case so I'm super disappointed. During them fixing they were bitching about me too, ridiculous. I can usually get in with little to no wait and not because they don't have any clients but because they are quick in the completing their services. Although there are times I wish they would spend more on the massage parts of the manicure and/or pedicure. Some of the manicurists go through the motions, while others actually put in some effort. Yucaipa Nails also get bonus points points for their cleanliness and friendliness. Spa pedicure chairs are cleaned after each use and one time use disposable scrubbies are used with each client. I would recommend bringing cash because there is a .50 cent charge for using debit, plus they can't add tip onto your bill so bring your dollas! read more

This place is okay. Definitely not the best place in town that is for sure. I have gone here twice now and both times they have done a bad job. They are quick to get you in and out which is good and bad. It's nice to get seated quickly but on the other hand they rush their painting and do a sloppy job. Both times i have come her i have also left with cuts all over my nails from the filing. With their gel nails they paint over your actual nail and onto your skin which causes them to lift and fall off in less than a week. Their designs are also terrible so if you plan on coming here for fancy nails definitely do not. I asked for a simple floral design and the lady completely smudged it and then just left it. read more

Very bad experience of waiting although i had a appointment after and hour i walked out. Had to speak out for a liner so i could put my legs in the tub and water was cold. I get it, it's COVID. And they are trying their best. But scheduling a bunch of appointments at once so they didn't have enough time to spend with each person is just RIDICULOUS. I left paying $75 for a pedicure and full set. The pedicure was AMAZING-that I would give 5 stars for. But my full set is TERRIBLE! So thick, when I asked Paul to keep thinning them down, he just told me that he couldn't because he didn't have time- which by the way, I made an appointment a week ahead of time, so I assumed that would be plenty of time. I guess not.. and a cherry on top, I called back to ask if they could fix my $45 nails and they said they could not. They really need to get it together over there at Yucaipa Nails. It was my first time here as I was here on vacation with my family.... So my 4 yr. old daughters 5th birthday was a couple of days away and we decided to get her nails done as well as my own too, my in laws are frequent customers here and told me to go get it done there...The space itself was nice, didn't have a very nail salon smell (which is great), the workers seemed friendly, nice, there were kids there too I'm guessing the workers kids but it didn't bother me one bit (it felt a lot loose having kids there, the place wasn't so up tight), the color choices weren't awesome but they do have a selection maybe a good idea to bring your own, and the prices is totally awesome because where I'm from it costs $25-$30 alone for acrylic/fake nails.... I got a spa pedicure and white tip fake nails, and my daughter got a spa pedicure, and manicure with designs on my daughter and myself and the total was $59!!!
