We went late so it was slow and we had a chance to chat with the (presumed) owner a little bit... she is the nicest woman ever! She really treats everyone like family. Food: I actually came here twice in the same week, it was just that good. As this place suggests in the name, it's speciality is tacos. I'd highly recommend any of them that suit your fancy, with my personal favorites being Asada beef, pork, and cochinita. The best part they came out ultra fresh, so fresh you may have to let them cool for a minute or two since they were just prepared. Very authentic and most of all, filing, easily two tacos was more than enough to fill me for the day due to their large size. Amounting to about $6-7 for lunch, now that's good! The menu and specials are listed out front on the food truck. The only thing is the prices are listed. I ordered two tacos and a agua feesca is about $14. The tacos runs about 4$. The amount of meat they put on the tacos justifies the price. I assume also given it's proximity to the domain and q2 stadium also explains the slight price increase. I got the bistek and the Al pastor. The bistek was my favorite. The Al pastor was slightly different than I'm used to with more of a clove and cinnamon taste so I would say it was different than other places. The green salsa was nicely spiced as well as used all of salsa that was provided on my tacos. As for the agua Fresca these are made with real frozen fruit. They don't add much sugar so if your looking to get some fruit into your diet without going into sugar shock this is your drink. read more

This is a delicious experience sampling some of Austin's best breakfast tacos in the area. Conveniently located at the Austin FC stadium in beautiful downtown Austin, this taco truck offers a host of delectable breakfast tacos that are traditional and authentic. I sampled the one with Barbacoa a Friday bacon and onions and cilantro and it was excellent. The Barbacoa melts in your mouth and is very tender. The second taco that I got was the chorizo potato egg and bacon taco. I like this taco but I think the chorizo is a bit pungent and I probably wouldn't have gotten it again. They offer a bunch of different Agua Frescas and the woman that I spoke to recommended the watermelon one so that's the one I got. You can have a variety though anywhere from mango to guava to soursop which is a bit of a unique flavor but equally delicious. I highly recommend them and I would also say that if you are interested in dropping by before one of the games that might be a good option as well. One of the best taco trucks in the city? They have homemade corn tortillas that are on the thicker side, which is great for absorbing all the yummy juices that exude from the meats. I think the best tacos they have are the al pastor on corn and the barbacoa on flour. The barbacoa is a soft, fatty, rich, juicy shredded plot of beef, dressed simply with cilantro and onions but it's as close to a dream as it gets - very flavorful with some fresh pop just when you need it. The al pastor is a contender for best in the city - smoky, charred pork butt with some pineapple sweetness thrown into the mix. The corn tortillas add some more flavor, though you need to eat it kinda quick lest the tortilla crumble. Would love to come back and try the rest of the menu. We came here with great expectations given the Yelp reviews. First off, there were no prices listed. We paid $41+ for 3 items. That would've been okay if the food were even decent. The condiments tasted old (sour cream /salsa) and the vegetarian torta had to be made twice after I specifically requested NO meat of any kind.
