The inside before you get sat is very spiritual feeling with the sound of the water from the pond. Our waitress was fast. She refilled my water and took up the empty plates as soon as it was done. The food was great! This buffet has the most sushi options in our area. If you are on Keto, there is sashimi and hibachi.

From the outside the place looks plain, almost industrial. But when you enter, there is a foyer that is lit with lights like a patio, with flowing fish pond to the right. The dining area looks spacious and clean. The service was friendly (greetings as you enter), you get seated right away. Wait staff is friendly and polite, they give you new set of chopsticks each time you go Back to buffet for more. I asked for tea, I was given a whole carafe! There's a variety of food - sushi, desserts, cooked foods, etc. Price is around $20 per person. Worth it for variety and value.

UK buffet is still our go to for all celebrations, including the times we celebrate ourselves! Even our foodie son from the West Coast was duly impressed with the quality of the sushi and the other offerings. The weekdays are great, but the weekends have a lot more to offer ( at a higher price, of course) including more Dim Sum selections. We especially love the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves. The steamed flounder and salmon are spectacular. The sushi is fresh and they come up with unusual combination rolls. My wife especially liked the combo roll that had banana in it and another roll that had cooked salmon and eel. Finally, we love the desserts, especially the sesame balls, tiny cheesecakes and pineapple cakes. Yukai is one of the best values in Virginia Beach especially if you like sushi. They have a nice general selection of cooked Chinese food. The hibachi/Mongolian Grill can be done to order with a great selection of sauces and proteins. We always found the staff to be friendly and efficient.

The food was so fresh and very delicious It's pretty much self serving but my waitress made sure my drink stayed full The decor is very traditional and beautiful I will definitely try this place out again the sushi bar is my favorite!!!

if I could give them a zero star, I would. This place was terrible!!!!! everything about it was absolutely disappointing. Came here based off of the 3.5 star review they HAD just to experience OLD, SOGGY, DISTASTEFUL FOOD. The fried sushi options were soggy. Raw tuna was sitting out without ice. they were throwing fresh food on top of old food. You can see based off the pictures dried food on the spoons. Serving spoons just sitting in food. The raw bar was just pitiful. there was not a variety of food. there was one kind of rice as shown in a picture. very few veggie options. I CAN GO ON FOR DAYS!! THE CHERRY IN TOP, they had no fried chicken!!!! i've never been to a buffet that had no Chinese fried chicken!!!! they said it was only served on Fridays. Imagine paying $21 to eat "buffet" to have half of a selection of food. this is by far my worst "buffet" experience EVER!! When I told the manager about my disliking of the food and service, she proceeded to tell me that I was the only one complaining! I found out to be very disrespectful as I had paid an abundance of money for me and my family to celebrate and eat. This was around Mid afternoon when food should've been fresh! it wasn't until I began taking pictures and complaining that they began to stir the food. we stayed all of 10 minutes ! I SWEAR before we ask to speak to a manager. I was more upset myself for even picking up the food without looking. The manager continue to charge us full price (-8 dollars for a "discount"). this was the most horrendous experience ever, and I hope no one ever eats here!!!!!

This is the first buffet that had decent sushi!!! There was a lot of fresh seafood and dimsum options. Loved the variety and how it also has pho. A very unique buffet and it's worth the extra money.

Nice selection of sushi, grilled fish, Chinese buffet food, hibachi grill and dessert options. I loved everything I had. The highlight for me was the mountains of eel sushi and bonanza of dumplings. The restaurant offers military discount and the service by the ladies are efficient. I just wished customers wouldn't cough right into the food stands. Wouldn't mind visiting again when I am back in town.

Food is amazing. The price is very reasonable for the amount of varieties you get. They have sushi, hibachi, chicken options, desserts, pho soup, a bit of seafood, and other options. Every time we have gone the service is always great! The waitresses are great and quick. The restaurant isn't fancy or anything but it has a nice vibe to it. Overall clean and welcoming restaurant. So much better than captain George's that is next door and charge twice the amount for food that is not good. Save your money and visit YUKAI!

One piece of advice: arrive a little before Happy Hour begins at 3:00 p.m. If you wait until then, you'll likely find yourself several people deep in line. Don't let that discourage you. Embrace it, because once you're seated you'll quickly discover that the wait was well worth it. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices--especially during Happy Hour--are outstanding. The Atlantic specializes in oysters, and their Happy Hour runs daily from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including weekends. We began with a Chopped Caesar Salad ($9). Every ingredient was crisp, fresh, and flavorful--a simple dish executed exactly as it should be. Next came the oysters: a dozen Rockefeller and a dozen Pacific. The Rockefeller oysters were everything you would expect from this classic preparation--rich, savory, and baked beautifully. The Pacific oysters, however, completely stole the show. Each oyster was topped with a delicious combination of chorizo sausage, pepper jack cheese, and seasonings before being baked to perfection. They were bold, flavorful, and easily my favorite item of the afternoon. I also ordered the Double Stack Cheeseburger ($7), and what a terrific value. The burger arrived piping hot, loaded with melted cheese, and accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries. It's hard to imagine finding a better burger at that price anywhere along the Oceanfront. My wife ordered the pork, shrimp, and kimchi dumplings served with a chili crunch and ponzu sauce that tied the entire dish together beautifully. She jokingly threatened to drink the remaining sauce after finishing the dumplings (she didn't), but she did convince me to dip one of my fries into it. She was absolutely right--it was fantastic. In fact, I now regret turning down the dumpling she generously offered me. Part of the fun of dining here is watching Shuck-Master Slim work. He's not only remarkably skilled but entertaining as well, adding a little personality to an already enjoyable experience. From the fresh seafood to the outstanding value and friendly atmosphere, this was another memorable visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. If you haven't been to The Atlantic on Pacific, I highly recommend adding it to your list. You'll be glad you did, and you can rest assured that you're helping support one of our outstanding local restaurants.

From the moment we arrived, the hostess, Milk, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. She made us feel valued from the start, and throughout the evening she continued to provide excellent service to every table she assisted. She truly deserves recognition and a promotion. Unfortunately, our assigned server provided one of the worst dining experiences I've had. After taking our food and drink order, she returned only with our drinks and then disappeared for 15-20 minutes without checking on us. My friend's daughter's entrée arrived before our appetizers, and our appetizer--fried hard chicken wings--didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later. When we asked about the delay, the server said it was because we requested the wings to be fried hard. She then made a comment about "Black people in the kitchen cooking." Whether she intended it as a joke or not, the comment was unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. Because of the poor service and attitude, we asked if another server could assist us. While Milk continued to be wonderful, another employee with purple-blue hair was also very rude when we asked for assistance. Her attitude was dismissive and unpleasant. Later in the evening, around 11 p.m., I asked a staff member near the kitchen if they had lids for our seafood buckets. She responded "No" with an attitude. I then asked if they had to-go cups, and she said they did but claimed she was off duty. Less than 30 seconds later, she went behind the bar and began making and serving drinks, which made her response even more confusing. Shortly afterward, she began arguing with my friend at our table for no apparent reason. At that point, we asked Milk to get the manager. The manager came over, sat down with us, listened to our concerns, and apologized. He explained that he was actually off that day but had come in to help support the restaurant. We appreciated that he took the time to hear us out and said he would address the issues with his staff. The food itself was good, but good food cannot make up for poor customer service and disrespectful attitudes. We wanted this to be a memorable celebration for my friend's daughter, not an evening spent dealing with rude employees. Customer service is just as important as the food. Sadly, because of the experience we had, we will not be returning. I hope management invests in better customer service training because employees like Milk show what great hospitality should look like, while others left a very negative impression.

Although I lived in Red Mill for over a decade, I was never able to visit the original location in that shopping center, so this was a first for us. We came in on a Friday night and easily parked in the attached garage (QR code ease for parking). Wow started with the chicken empanadas and boy, were they yummy. Soooo hot and fresh, you could tell they were made to order (it took a minute to get them). So worth the wait! We devoured them and the breading was heavenly. I chose the Chicken Pancit Bihon (rice noodles) for my entree and my husband went with the Sizzling Sisig (minced pork and onion). Both were hot and fresh but my husband's dish was to DIE for! Sooooo good, I am for sure going to order it next time. The seasoning was perfect, hot and delicious. Yum! We had plans to take our daughter out for dessert for her birthday or I would've absolutely been trying one of those Ube shakes... noms! Next time! Owners were walking around offering tasting of items and were checking in often to make sure all was going smoothly. He gave us a sample of the Calmansi Slushee and it was heaven! Soooo refreshing on a summer day, I can see stopping in during a bike ride to cool off with one of those babies. Beautiful patio outside with tons of covered seats and a pick-up window for easy pick-up right in front was nice. Love this location in Atlantic Park and what it brings to the oceanfront area... excited this new spot is here!
