If I didn't get sick from this place every time I came here, I would be adding another star. I know this is one of the more popular buffets or as their sign says "Byuffe" (seriously, all these years and it still hasn't been corrected lol). I'll admit, the selection is vast compared to some of the other Chinese buffets, especially with their sushi selection and their assortment of desserts. They also have a hibachi grill and offer Pho soup on their buffet. Everything tastes alright but I don't know what it is...because it's not just me, as my family has also experienced the same on different occasions. Is it the sushi? The soup? I wish I knew so I could avoid it whenever I come here because other than that, staff is attentive and they do a decent job refilling the buffet stations as needed. read more

Surprised at the name. I thought Byuffe was a typo, but I guess it makes them standout. My family and I decided to try this place out since most of us are huge fans of sushi. This place was not that bad. You do get about 2 rows of hot food. The typical Chinese buffet dishes such as fried rice, lo mein, dumplings, General Tso's, crab rangoons then sushi. You get a lot of rolls with fruit, tuna, salmon, fried imitation crab meat, nigiri and sashimi. I really enjoyed the tuna, salmon, and eel nigiri. I didn't try the Pho, but a couple families sitting next to us kept getting refills. Overall the quality was OK. Nothing that will get your super excited over. I was just worried about the coloration of some of the food. IE the avocado, octopus, seaweed salad. I was to scared to try these dishes and you may want to avoid them as well if you notice it a bit dark. I'm giving this place a high rating because everyone in my party enjoyed our meal. The waitresses were great. Our dining area had a lot of people and yet the waitresses gave us great service. The sushi chefs were awesome. We kept requesting more of particular rolls and nigiri and they accommodated each request. Value wise for $17 you can't beat this buffet any where in this area. Was told by a few this was one of the better buffets . Took my mom here for dinner . The food was OK at best . Lots of variety but nothing outstanding . The wait staff was friendly and accommodating . The reason for the two stars was because when I cracked open and went to eat my rock crab claws is smelled funky like ammonia and dirty dish water. I was upset tho it happens just wasn't going to eat it , and we alerted the waiter that the crab might be bad . He brought it up to his boss and he basically said we were lying and there was nothing wrong with it . The waiter himself even smelled what we did . Came here last night after being at the water park all day. We were hangry, but immediately upon pulling into the parking lot we saw a lot of people waiting outside and inside there were even more people waiting! We were informed the wait would take about 40 minutes, we decided to wait it out since this place was so packed it must be worth the wait. It only took them 10 minutes to seat us. The wait was definitely worth it! First of all, it's a buffet so the expectations are not super high. But lemme tell y'all. I was so impressed! This place is definitely the best buffet I've ever eaten. The sushi was FRESH. Seafood was FRESH. The other foods were decent. But for $16.99 on a Saturday?! What a deal! They had good sushi too, like not just basic rolls but they were fancy and they had AYCE sushi (the rice and fish on top) and it was all FRESH! That is what blew my mind! How fresh everything was. The crabs which I avoided because they looked small were so fresh and delicious (stole a few bites from the boyfriend). I had the giant clams and oyster which were fresh and the clams had no sand! Now, the kicker, they even had a small dim sum section with shumai. What surprised me most is they had sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves which is not common at buffets and it tasted so good! They even serve pho here! The service was on point as well. Our waitress was friendly and prompt on clearing plates! This was exactly what I was looking for for dinner tonight. I went with my 7 year old and we had a great time. Sushi was ok, nothing amazing but the selection was nice and the spicy rolls actually had a good kick so that was swell. We tried a little bit of everything and even the Americanized Chinese dishes were pretty good. I had two helpings of the coconut shrimp! My one concern was when I was eating the crawfish. I ate maybe 20 of them and there were 2 that I noticed that were likely dead before they were cooked. Very obvious discoloring and odor. I didn't eat them but the rest were great. Problem is my stomach has been cramping all night since then. I have a stomach of steel so even with the worst of foods, I'm always able to manage. I wouldn't be surprised if I got mild food poisoning from this place. We had such a great time and the food was so delicious and hot and the staff was friendly and attentive. I just can't get over those crawfish I found and my subsequent belly troubles for the rest of the night. My son is fine. It's always been our go-to place to eat, whether lunch or dinner, but I highly suggest to go on a weekend coz it's a lot of offerings and they do combine lunch/dinner for one price. Their price went up coz of inflation (i think) but the food are still great. I love their sashimi, different varieties of sushi rolls and they're always fresh. Even for a cheap buffet, Yukai was pretty disappointing. My friends and I noticed immediately that the quality of the meat was a little off - the raw fish was not fresh, the seafood tasted briney, and the selection of food overall was pretty small. Out of all of the sushi, the only one I would recommend is the salmon. It was the most "normal" tasting out of all of the rolls, and even the cooked rolls with eel tasted a little stale. I also appreciated the beef with broccoli, which was not bad. The dessert section was a little sparse but the sesame balls were my favorite. It was towards the end of the night, so I know business was slowing down, but she was literally sitting at a table surfing on her phone. As a member of the exclusive 4 plate club I can confidently say this place is bang on fantastic. Sure some of the chicken can be a little chewy at times but the sushi was fire and the honey chicken in particular was really good. This is the best Asian-style buffet I've been to! And trust me, I enjoy a good Asian buffet. As other reviewers have pointed out, the sushi selection here is no joke. The roll selection is extensive and they don't just have fancy mayo-covered rolls either, they also offer nigiri and sashimi. The tuna wasn't so good the first time I went, so I usually just stick with my old favorite, salmon. The hibachi grill is tasty, I love that you can load up on vegetables there. Other favorites include: that scallop/noodle dish from the seafood section, whatever fish they have that day (first time I've ever had fish from a buffet that wasn't overcooked ayoooo), THE GYOZA ARE SO GOOD and I think homemade, and their homemade pineapple cake is amazing. The froyo machine tastes like it has artificial sweetener in it, for any of you out there that have weird tastes left on your tongue from artificial sweeteners... I'd avoid that one. This place has nice buffet menu with very good selections of sushi, stone crab legs, shrimps, etc. it is always busy with lots of customer at dinner time, so get there around 6pm for available table if you have a large group. This spot I use to like and come here often . My recent visit this afternoon I had a server ( Eric ) he was very short and rude . I let him know I wanted to pay the bill together and he answered rudely "I know" when he came back to give the check he handed it to my friend (male) AFTER I TOLD HIM NOT TOO he watched me sign my bill and when he realized I didn't tip he gave me the dirtiest look ever . Small cozy little buffet, not a large as traditionally expected but it's a comfortable small venue. It doesn't have a large buffet but at night, they have lobster and crab. Their raw food is some of the freshest I've seen at an Asian buffet of not the freshest. It's corona time, so they give you disposable gloves to get your food with. I decided to give this place a try since I was craving some seafood & I like buffets due to the options that are offered for you. This particular Chinese restaurant to me is known for their sushi options, there were more sushi options than actual non-sushi options. For sushi, everything is labeled, cooked & non-cooked, as well as really fresh. There is also a hibachi option, which offers Pho soup as well. My ONLY downfall with this restaurant is the other food items, were kinda lack there off. The selection offering is decent, but not the best, the prices are reasonable (there are coupons that you can use), staff was friendly, restaurant was nice and clean (including the bathrooms). I visited this location during lunch hours, and it was a decent crowd, but everything I wanted crawfish, crab legs, that I saw in other reviews was saddened to not see any of these items when I visited. I can also say they are kinda slow restocking some items, but that isn't a downfall just get something else and come back to it on the next round.
