Compared to Dunkin there is no contest. All donuts are fresh and the choice is very deep. I believe there are 3 locations all with good hours. I am a French Cruller fan and they have Chocolate, Vanilla and Glazed. As well I am a fan of Sour Cream Cake and they have Glazed and Un-glazed. The donuts are always fresh. I've been to a lot of donut shops in Philadelphia, and I must say the Yum Yum Bake Shop really takes The whole kit and kaboodle! They have just such a great variety of donuts, pastries, coffee, and drinks. They also have really good service, great hours and solid prices. The donuts are so delicious and fluffy and just all around great in taste. One thing is that it's kind of a drive for me but cannot really go wrong with the overall quality of the place and their prices and friendly service! If you haven't tried the doughnuts & coffee here , why not ? I know people who drive over an hour to come here. All of the doughnuts here are outstanding. Yes all of them. Cherry bomb, get that. Chocolate crullers here put Dunkin's chocolate glaze to shame. Apple fritters, husband loves them more than our family. Kidding, I think ? I drove about 20 minutes to pick up a dozen donuts and overall, I would say I am disappointed with my experience. I was not thrilled with the customer service. I felt very rushed to pick and it wasn't even particularly busy. It's a fine donut shop. It has the "essentials" which you would expect at a donut shop, but nothing more. There really weren't any unique donuts. I got a peanut butter cup one and to my dismay, it was filled with vanilla creme and not peanut butter.. The quality of the donuts is sufficient, but nothing to write home about. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to pick up donuts from here. Always amazing. For awhile I would go to Dunkin Donuts religiously because it has a drive through and on my way to work. I stopped in last week to Yum Yum because I already knew it was amazing. This experience was amazing. I tried a Red Velvet donut and it was beyond delicious. I went back again and had another Red Velvet donut with a coffee. Both were incredible. I really like this place a lot. They have very good fresh donuts. The lines can be very long sometimes but I like to think it's worth the price and wait. The staff has always been friendly to me and that not so easy early in the morning sometimes. The parking can be tuff there sometimes as it is a very small lot and when it is busy you can not find anywhere to park but overall it is a tasty little spot to stop for coffee and a really good donut or donuts for yourself or to share with other. One side note they have a giant doughnut that they sell I want to try it one of these days but limiting myself to only once or twice a week there as not to put on too much weight.
