It took quite a while for our drinks to come out, and unfortunately, the shop was extremely hot inside. It didn't seem like the AC was running, and with it being 106° outside, standing around waiting for our drinks was definitely uncomfortable. Once our drinks finally came out, though, I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered two iced Americanos one with brown sugar and one with Splenda and my coffee was really, really good! It had the strong coffee flavor I was looking for and wasn't overly sweet at all. We also ordered a chocolate milkshake, which my son really enjoyed. Overall, I'm glad we decided to stop here. I went in expecting more of a sugary drink-focused place, but the iced Americano was actually really good and had the bold coffee flavor I like. The service was friendly, and there are tons of drink options. Hopefully they can improve the AC and the wait time, because otherwise, I'd definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

And that's the part I find disappointing: great products do not excuse poor customer service. You can make the best ensaymada in town, but if the person behind the counter makes customers feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or looked down upon, the quality of the food becomes almost beside the point. People remember how a business makes them feel. I hope the owners of Max & Lucy's take customer service as seriously as they apparently take their baking. i am a new customer to yum yum donuts i have been going to this location for the past month only cuss its right infront of my school and i gotta say they have pretty cool posters the employees repeat them self two or three times to make sure u want ice in ur coke and it doesnt matter wut size drink u get its all the same price but they dont have lids for the large drink so i always spill some coke on my way up the stairs to class because of it The cold cut sandwich is hot yes.. Yess i mean hot not worm. HOT!! other then that not a bad place pretty clean most of the time and no restroom other then that i like this place read more

They do accept credit cards but there's a small fee when used. Price wise, they're all pretty much cohesive with the others in town. Positive for the place, the hours are good.

By the time it was time to pick up my dog from the vet's office it was already 6pm, but the donuts still smelled nice and fresh in the box.
