I have to say, that when cafes ask you to pick out the matcha, I tend to be disappointed. I wish that cafes would just preset their base matcha but I get the business model. I wasn't wowed by their matcha, but it wasnt the worst I've ever had. Just a tad over hyped. I do want to try soft serve next time thought. They only serve it during certain hours of the day and we had came just right after the cut off.
I can see why there is always a line for this matcha spot! Many variations of matcha drinks, including different bases (coconut water, americano style, milk) and flavor (yuzu miso, strawberry, honey lemon, tiramisu etc) They also have crepes and soft serves available. The coco matcha cloud was refreshing. It was also slightly creamy and sweet from the matcha foam on top. The matcha tiramisu was creamy from the addition of mascarpone cream. It was the perfect kick of caffeine disguised as a sweet dessert. For this drink, it comes with your choice of matcha. There were over 5 varieties of matcha with various unami, earthy notes, bitterness levels etc. Great spot for a matcha! There aren't many seats to sit and chat with friends -- 2 thin wooden benches inside and 2 tables outside. Ordering is through a single kiosk.
With all the new matcha spots in the bay, there's tough competition for a sweet treat. Yume Mori definitely hits the spot :) It's a small shop with a couple of tables/chairs outside and kiosks to order from in store. Ordering was pretty quick but one unique thing is that you're able to pick what kind of matcha or hojicha you want. I liked that each of the teas had tasting notes next to the menu so you know what you're choosing. I ordered a matcha float and it was so yummy. The matcha was earthy and a tad bitter but the soft serve sweetened it perfectly. The soft serve had a strong matcha flavor but was more on the sweet side and had an icy consistency (my fave lol)
I am visiting from Hawaii and decided to try this Matcha spot. First things first, parking is limited. You will be lucky if you land a parking spot, which we did. This place was obviously a popular spot because the traffic was busy and there was a line. When you get inside, it's very minimalistic. They have an ordering pad and I ended up getting the Matcha Tiramisu. The wait is about 5-7 minutes for your drink. Once I received my drink, all I could say is WOW. That drink was crazy good! It was topped with biscoff cookie which balanced out the earthy taste. Overall, I would come back here again. 5/5 recommend!
I was very impressed with their different matcha options including their dessert! You would have to self order through the tablet but staff is always there for any questions if needed. I had taken their recommendation and tried their matcha powder (yuga). Tried their specialty of their YuzuMiso Matcha - unique and refreshing. I also really enjoying their matcha crepe (Ichigo) that came with cream and strawberry. Truly a classic and I wouldn't want it in any other way. I would definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area
Had such high hopes, it's sooo inconsistent. Especially for almost $9 per drink for such a small cup. I'm guessing 12-14 oz. We ordered two Tiramisu Matchas, one was very yummy thick and the matcha was strong. The other matcha was on the watery side and barely any cream. (We paid extra for Koku matcha, which is 50 cents more for a "stronger" matcha) We also purchased the double matcha with Koku matcha, which you'd think would be the strongest matcha flavor. Wrong! It was incredibly watered down, we also got less sweet for this drink. It tasted like syrup and oatmilk. The matcha cream is very light matcha as well. We also arrived at 4:40 and it took a while to be able to order because there was a line. Once we reached the kiosk it turned exactly 5:00 which is when they stopped serving crepes, we asked if we were able to purchase one but they said no so we were a little bummed out as well :( Customer service was not the best, they stopped calling numbers out so we were just waiting for nothing! I asked a few questions and it felt like I was a burden. The store itself is incredibly warm and tiny. Not their fault since the sun is facing the store but just another note. Verdict: Not worth the money, the drive, when Binge Coffee is around the corner and there's so many other matcha places all in the same vicinity.
Came on a sunday and there was a line. Ordered a drink and a crepe. Expected to wait a while but everything was ready after 10 mins. Crepe Ichigo (2/5) The crepe included strawberry bits, whipped cream, matcha custard, strawberry sauce. I mostly tasted whipped cream and nothing else. The crepe seemed undercooked. Matcha Kumo (5/5) Made with miki matcha powder, matcha cream, water and less sweet (5g). It was super smooth and a balanced flavor profile. Slightly umami, slightly sweet with no bitterness. Definitely worth it for the matcha drinks.
Ok this place is delicious. Matcha quality is top tier. I actually love this place. This is my top 3 in California. I don't know my film order yet... Easy street parking all around!!!! The hours are pretty short though. They close at 6pm :( no indoor seating. A few tables outside. 9/10 would go again. 10/10 wish the cups were bigger. My complaint... - no restroom - the size of the cups are tiny. TINY. It's like 5 sips for $7.95 I can not. - plastic utensils and cups. This is Berkeley... let's move to compostables
Yume Mori is yet another matcha café that's been on my list of places to try. My friend and I stopped by about an hour before closing, and there was no line! There was only one couple in front of us, so we barely had to wait to order from the in-store kiosks. I got the ichigo matcha latte with oat milk (no extra charge ftw!) and the miki matcha powder, which I selected because it was the least bitter of the lineup. The drink was perfect in every way! The matcha was strong (not bitter at all), and the strawberries were the freshest I've had, so my drink seemed really gourmet. Not much seating inside and too sunny outside, so my friend and I stood off to the side to sip our matcha. We had to leave at 6pm when they closed, but by that time we finished, so it worked out. I wouldn't want to stand in one of the slow queues I've seen before in passing by, but I think it's worth it if there's none!
We loved it!! Their drinks are creative and their matches delish. They have different matchas you can choose from as well which was fun to pair with the different drinks. Our favorite was the biscoff matcha and matcha lemonade! It can get busy on the weekends. We went on a Sunday at 2pm and waited about 30 mins.
Yay finally got to try Berkeley matcha!! This little cafe was soo adorable and the matcha was solid :) I was scared that the tiramisu matcha would be way too sweet even with 0 sugar but it wasn't!! The matcha flavor was really strong and bitter so the cream top actually complimented it really well. Also when the biscoff cookie melted and blended into the drink it tasted SO GOOD. My bf got their peppermint matcha which was their holiday special but it lowk just tasted like peppermint syrup milk lol. Effort was there tho!
Definitely the most unique Matcha drink place that I have ever visited. They have so many different types of Matcha and Hojicha. that customers are free to make their own customizations depending on different notes and aspects of the tea. The ambiance is very chill but not many seats inside. I did enjoyed the experience and the seasonal mango matcha drink I got. Interesting flavor combo Recommended for any matcha and Hojicha enthusiasts!
Great matcha! I tried the matcha latte and chose shizuoka, which has notes of umami and seaweed. It was smooth and strong, which I liked. I thought their drinks were well-made. They also have crepes, but it sold out before we could get them, so will come back to try it next time!

I live right across from Yume Mori, so it had been on my list for a while. The main reason it took me so long to finally stop by was the hype. The weekend and after-school lines can get pretty intense, and because each drink is prepared with more care than your typical matcha order, the wait can be longer than expected. Personally, I'm not always willing to stand in a long line for a drink. Luckily, I'm able to visit during weekday off-hours, when there is usually little to no line. Even then, with only one or two people ahead of me, it can still take around 5 to 10 minutes for a drink to come out. The ordering process is one of the things that makes Yume Mori feel special. You first choose the type of drink, followed by the specific matcha, and they provide helpful descriptions explaining the differences between each option. It makes the experience feel more curated and gives you a better sense of what you're actually ordering. The matcha itself is excellent. They whisk it especially well, creating a smooth layer of microfoam that gives the drink a creamy, polished texture. Each drink is also meticulously prepared and beautifully presented, with distinct layers that highlight the individual components. Once mixed, the matcha remains smooth and flavorful, and additions like strawberry complement it without overpowering the tea. I would recommend drinking it fairly quickly, though, since the flavor naturally becomes more diluted as the ice melts. For the matcha quality alone, I'd give Yume Mori a 4.5/5. However, with drinks costing around $12, it's not really a realistic everyday stop for me. Overall, I'd rate it 4/5: an excellent matcha experience that feels worth trying or enjoying as an occasional treat, but not necessarily somewhere I'd visit regularly at that price point. read more

Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy, the line went out the door and stayed that way the entire time we were there. It took maybe 30 minutes total to get inside, order, and receive our order. The inside has a modern wooden Japanese aesthetic, but is really small with 1 short bench along the wall and another to hold the door open. There's also some tables outside. There's metered parking in front of the buildings at each block or street parking if you turn off the main street, but it was pretty packed. A unique thing about this store is that you get to choose which matcha harvest you'd like your drink to be made with! They have a notecard above the monitor with details about the flavor profile of each harvest. They also have agave syrup on the side if you want your drink sweeter -creme brulee crepe (3.5/5): the sugar was bruleed well with no missed spots. the custard was okay, not as creamy compared to millet crepe in LA (OG creme brulee crepe). It was also pretty small -clear matcha (4/5): basically matcha+water, but it was surprisingly creamy! the matcha itself was bold and flavorful (i forget which one we got, but it was the one you pay extra for). This was actually pretty sweet which I wasn't expecting, so for those who like their drinks lightly sweetened, may be better to get it unsweetened and add to taste. I had been wanting to check this place out for a while and overall I feel like it was not bad. Matcha was good quality, but would maybe try a different crepe or parfait. read more
There was always a line when I passed by, so I decided to give it a try! I ordered the Cold Whisk Matcha with shizu matchia, oat milk and regular sweet. The drink had a rich umami flavor with an earthy taste and a light bitterness. It tasted great but the regular sweet was too sweet for me. Next time, I might choose no sugar or they offer more sweetness options. I would also like to try their Koku matcha drink next time! read more

Came here cause my classmate really liked it and it was walking distance from where we had lunch. Small place but the inside is so cute. I do like how they also serve crepes and soft serve. You can only order crepes from Friday - Sunday around 12-5pm. There's 8 different options: matcha crème brûlée, custard crepe brûlée, ichigo, biscoff butter, Nutella, banana choco caramel, brownie choco, and s'mores. Soft serve is served 12-5pm daily I'm assuming and either in a cup or cone. There's only 1 kiosk so if someone in front takes long to order there will be a long line. I ordered the hojicha ichigo with oat milk, added strawberry cream and a biscoff which came out to $10. There's also two different hojicha's to choose from: hoji-ko and hoji-en. Hoji-ko has notes of caramel and nutty. Hoji-en has notes of cocoa and smoky. I ordered the hoji-en with my drink and it was delicious. My classmate ordered the seasonal rose lychee matcha drink and the other ordered the tiramisu matcha drink but changed up the type of matcha being used. There's 4 different ceremonial matcha provided: miki, yuga, shizu, and koku. Miki is floral and creamy, yuga is refresh and bright, shizu is umami and earthy, and koku is nutty and floral. They also sell the cutest ceramic matcha bowls as well. I'm for sure going to come back to try their soft serve and crepes! read more

I really wanted to like this place but I was actually a bit disappointed. The matcha LOOKS super good, but it was pretty watery imo. It tasted like my matcha at home after I finished half of my cup, and left it sitting for 5 mins. If that makes sense?? We got the double matcha which didn't taste like much ); A melted iced down matcha? Sad that I didn't like it. Pretty long line, and you just order on a kiosk. They have outdoor seating which is a plus. read more
Super cute little spot! I got the hojicha tiramisu and it was super tasty. I will say the drinks are a little pricey for the small size, but you can tell they use quality ingredients. It's very small inside with no indoor seating, but there are some tables outside. They have a station on the side where you can sweeten your drinks with agave which I really appreciated! I'd definitely come back to try the crepes. read more
* 4 Stars SOLELY for the Matcha- 1 Star for Service!!! * This one was hard to rate... it's been on my bucket list for a while and I purposely chose to come an a late weekday afternoon (12/10/2025 at about 2 in the afternoon). Here's my experience broken down: Service = 1 I walked in to an empty shop and THREE employees. They were all on their phones and talking to one another. One clearly saw me and I'm Perry sure the others at least heard someone walk in, but I was not greeted, acknowledged- nothing. I thought about walking out but decided to give Yume Mori a chance. They didn't acknowledge until I asked a question and still, the service was just bad. So bad it's the reason why I won't be back. Ambiance = 4 Super cute, modern space, but small with no space to really sit and enjoy your drink. Matcha = 5 The Matcha itself was really, really good. The quality of it is definitely aeons above your average coffee house. If you're not used to Matcha places, make sure you thoroughly stir any drink you get that has any add ins. For example, if you get the strawberry Matcha, make sure you mix it thoroughly before you drink it (something no one bothered to tell me here at Yume Mori). In all, if the service wasn't so bad I'd be back. But since it was, I'm heading over to try other nearby places for my next matcha fix. read more
$7-8 per drink Arrived at 11:30 on Saturday and waited just over 20 minutes for our drinks. This may be just personal preference, but I love when lattes are served nice and hot, but the Hojicha latte here was just warm. Flavors are on point. Matcha and Hojicha both very tasty! read more

I came here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon and the wait wasn't too bad (~10 min). The location is pretty accessible by public transport and the cafe space is nicely decorated. The drinks are pretty small for the price ($20 for crepe and drink) and tasted more like water than matcha. Maybe it would've been better with the more umami matcha they offer. I liked the custard crème brûlée crepe but it also didn't really have a matcha taste and I think I just liked it because I love crème brûlée. Overall, I think this place is worth a try but I personally prefer other matcha places. read more
Came during soft opening last month and the line was long, so drove by. This time tried a day after grand opening and even though the line is long, it goes by smooth. There's only one kiosk to place orders (which is why the line is long and takes a while if peeps have so much to choose from). Otherwise you can see the care and consideration of how the staff makes each drink. Both tiramisu flavors were delicious, creamy, and the right amount of "matcha" flavor intensity. Came early so not able to try the crepes out after 12pm (not everyday), maybe next time. read more
I've gone to Yume Mori a few times now and the quality has been consistently good every time. The matcha is creamy, very aesthetically pleasing, and the hojicha is also really delicious. When I get the tiramisu matcha I always end up getting an extra Biscoff cookie because it's so good with the drink. There isn't really seating inside but they do have a few small tables outside. The interior itself is really cute though and as someone who loves plants I really appreciate the greenery it brings to the space. I still need to try their crepes next time I go. I just wish the drinks were a bit bigger for the price because I finish them way too quickly every time read more

Been eyeing this place for a cool min and I'm so happy I got to go! I went around 12:30pm, I was worried it'll be super busy but it wasn't! There was no line and we ordered on the kiosk. I was so indecisive because there were so many good flavors for drinks and crepes. Honestly it got busy right when we were ordering and there was a line outside the door. The inside is quite small with these thin benches and all I thought were "ooo so you think i'm skinny " They were pretty comfy though haha. We got our drinks quickly within 10 mins and 5 mins later we got our crepe :) The crepe was so yummy! I've been wanting a crepe place like this in the bay. The way they make them remind me of millet crepe. My friend ordered a strawberry matcha w/oat milk (3/5) & a choco banana crepe (4/5). I got Double Matcha (5/5) I literally drank it so fast in less than 10 mins. I also got the Creme Brulee Crepe (4/5). Would definitely come back if i'm in the area again read more
I can tell the quality of the matcha was good, however it tasted a bit bitter and could use a bit improvement on the drinks. Not sure if it's the type of matcha I ordered either that could be the reason, but I ordered strawberry matcha. It's also. Around $7-8 for each small cup. good matcha cafe! have a good selection of drinks- matcha and coffee based, with various crepes as well. got the matcha tiramisu and double matcha! i preferred the double better as the tiramisu top didn't have much taste (like a vanilla cream top). also got a nutella crepe, which was good but nothing too different than other places. it's cool how you can chose what matcha strain you want in your drinks! place is very small. and gets busy on the weekends with limited street parking. read more
I entered Yume Mori not expecting much, thinking, "another matcha place in Berkeley? It's gotta be a cash grab," so they've already got my bias working against them and I *still* gave them 5 stars because the matcha was unexpectedly great! Yes, the cup is small but these ratios are very similar to how I make my own cup at home. Too much milk will dilute the strength of the tea and make it impossible to take the subtle flavors of matcha, and based on the taste, they use plenty of matcha! That said, I am somewhat of a purist in that I exclusively take my matcha straight or with oat milk, so I can't speak to any of their flavored drinks, but why would anyone need to try their flavored drinks when their latte is already perfection? The shop is a little out of the way from campus in south-ish downtown Berkeley, but plenty close to BART for anyone who's not a local student (such as the many alum living in the Bay Area). There isn't any real seating inside besides a couple (tiny) benches for you to wait on. There are a couple outdoor tables set up with metal chairs but those were crowded with a mix of students sipping their drinks and waiting for drinks, so I recommend planning to take your order to go. read more

Yume Mori Matcha met my matcha expectations! I came on a Saturday and the line wasn't too long. The space is small but the line moves quite fast. The decor has such a beautiful simple aesthetic. The staff is friendly. The menu is not large but they have great options, I wanted to try several drinks. This is what our party ordered: -Double Matcha 5/5, this was delicious, creamy and flavorful. It reminded me of the matcha I had in Kyoto. Excellent quality matcha and drink! -Matcha Ichigo 4/5: This drink would have been perfect if it had more of the strawberry puree. The matcha was delicious, but it tasted a bit bland after mixing it with the strawberry puree. I would try other drinks next time. -Tiramisu Crepe 3.5/5: I feel mixed about this crepe. While some bites were good, they lacked flavor. There was some Biscoff at the end of the crepe and a lot of cream in the middle. I wouldn't order this crepe again but I would love to try a different one. Overall, the double matcha was my favorite drink from this visit, and I would come back for it. This place is new and they have to work on consistency for some of the drinks/crepes but overall and matcha is good quality so it is worth it. read more

We had a great experience here! We were greeted as soon as we walked in, which immediately made the space feel welcoming. Ordering is done through a self-serve kiosk, which is very efficient and allows the staff to focus on making the drinks. Our wait time was about 10 minutes, which felt reasonable given the quality of the drinks. We ordered the Matcha Tiramisu (Shizuoka) and the Matcha Ichigo (Mie) with strawberry purée, both iced with oat milk and regular sweetness. Both drinks were smooth, well-balanced, and flavorful. The Shizuoka matcha had a rich depth that paired nicely with the tiramisu cream, while the Mie matcha was lighter and refreshing with a subtle strawberry sweetness. You can really taste the quality of the matcha...nothing overly bitter or artificial. The vibrant green color of the matcha also showed how fresh and high quality it is...no dull or brown tones. Overall, we're very happy with the taste, quality, and experience. We'll definitely be back to try more from the menu! read more

Visited my best friend in the East Bay, and she took us to Yume Mori! Luckily we beat the rush and ordered from their menu right away. There's 2 types of matcha you can choose from - Mie (floral) and Shizuoka (umami). I chose Mie for my Double Matcha. We waited for awhile before we got our order, but I think it was worth it! The Double Matcha was delicious and rich in flavor, and the Matcha Creme Brûlée crepe was not overly sweet. I enjoyed the crispy bits it came with. I also love the aesthetic of the cafe, it's minimal and unique. Parking is a bit hard on the weekend, but luckily we found some street parking after a few rounds of driving. Would definitely come back again! read more
After enjoying some freshly brewed hot tea, I wanted to end with something a bit sweeter & creamier. Yume Mori's playful menu design & somewhat simple selection really intrigued me. They're apparently relatively new to Berkeley but I still can't believe I just found out about this place! The shop itself is very small, so the line ends up spilling outside and kind of clutters the doorway making it a bit hard to get in and out of the shop. Thankfully, people were pretty understanding of the saturation and made sure not to be in each other's way. Once you reach the front of the line, you're greeted by a kiosk for ordering. They only have kiosk ordering so you can't pay with cash if that's what you prefer unfortunately. While you're waiting in line, you get to watch every single drink make its way down the assembly line. Each component of the drink is meticulously crafted. From measuring the milk to balancing Biscoff cookies on the rim of the cup-- each team member was very skilled in their task & made sure each drink was perfect. We ordered the Coco Matcha Cloud and Hojicha Ichigo. We did not make any adjustments to the ice or sugar levels but we did opt for oat milk in the Hojicha Ichigo. The oat milk actually worked really well with the Hojicha and did not take over the entire flavor profile of the drink. Neither drink was too sweet. The tea in both of them was also not overwhelming. I appreciate how light and somewhat floral each one was. The price per drink is about the average cost and we were definitely happy to see that it wasn't on the more expensive side for a matcha. I will definitely be back to try the Crepes! read more

My sister and I stopped by Yume Mori Matcha the line was fast, thankfully. We got the Matcha Tiramisu and Hojicha Tiramisu, and the cream on top was unreal especially when dipped with the biscoff cookies. read more
There has been so many matcha places opening in Berkeley, so I had to stop by this. Pumpkin spice hojicia is (5/5): For some reason I think the Hojicia drinks are much better in Berkeley than the matcha drinks. The pumpkin spice is a fall edition drink. The hojicia was perfectly sweet with a pleasant caramel flavor. The pumpkin spice added nice spices to make it feel like fall again. Overall really enjoy this place. read more
Saturday ~10 am was slightly busy but not too crowded. If you want a drink that is aesthetically pleasing to post on Instagram, this is the place. The concise menu has matcha and hojicha options. If you are new to hojicha, it is a flavorful, nutty, roasted drink that is not as caffeinated as matcha. If you do not enjoy matcha and would describe matcha as "grassy" I'd recommend giving hojicha a try. To order, the touch screen allows you to order your drink with slight customization options. If you do have any questions about the menu, there is not someone immediately available to answer your questions compared to ordering with a person. I got the tiramisu matcha which was absolutely a drinkable dessert. It was creamy, deep in flavor, and had a proper matcha to milk ratio. I enjoyed my drink very much and would order it again! Flavor (5/5): I haven't had such a solid cup of matcha in a long time. I love that they have different types of matcha you can choose for your drink, hand whisk it in front of you and make such a harmonious drink. Their seasonal flavors like pumpkin was a hit too! The crepes also was such a yummy treat to share, creamy filling and a thin crepe! Their biscoff matcha alone definitely makes me want to come back. Instagram Worthy (5/5): We actually stumbled across this cafe while we were walking to lunch and the moment we saw how cute it was we knew we had to stop in. Japanese cafe, very minimal but intentional decoration. Cozy yet tasteful and very gram worthy. Not much seating tho! Service (5/5): Crepes take longer than drinks but all the staff was very efficient! Lots of people in an open concept barista area making your drinks. Takeaways: Wish it was closer to me! Not really a place for you to sit and chat, more so a grab and go. Parking can be tricky to find on a busy weekend. read more
Another social media gem that pleasantly surprised me with the rich umami flavor of the matcha! I was a bit indecisive on which one to get and even with the line the customer service was friendly/patient enough to recommend options based on my preferences. It's a small shop that doesn't have much seating or waiting area so it's more of a grab and go type of drink spot. Just keep this in mind when choosing this place! Parking is typically free Sundays but I believe on weekdays the lots and street parking are all metered. Definitely add this to your east bay matcha rotation! read more

Matcha Creme Brulee -- soft and matcha filled cream crepe. The matcha flavor was so prominent and didn't taste just like regular cream only! The scorched top had the right amount of sweetness and crunch to balance with the cream! I would try the other crepes next time, this one was really delicious! This crepe was a really good quality crepe, the matcha flavor was present throughout each bite. The line was long again, but it was worth the wait for this treat! read more
A bunch of my friends recommended this place to place to me so I had to go check it out! I came on a Sunday evening ~5pm and there was no wait. The ordering is straight-forward with a self-serve kiosk. There is an area to park in front of the store but it is a bit tricky to get a spot. The inside is has a neutral, minimalist vibe which I thought was nice. The menu had a lot of things that I wanted to try, but I ended up getting the Matcha Tiramisu. In terms of the matcha, I thought it was solid. The matcha was smooth and there were no dreaded clumps at the bottom of my drink. I think the topping fell a bit short for me. I love Tiramisu and I didn't really get the tiramisu taste. The price is a bit expensive as well for a small drink (~$8). Overall, I liked the quality of the matcha and I think if I had gotten the classic double matcha I would've liked that better. I think the price is a bit on the higher side for matcha, but the quality was good. I would come back to try their creme brulee crepe! read more

I frequent this matcha place often (since it's close to work for me) and wanted to offer some insights. Environment is open, airy. Quite small inside- but it's nice to just order straight from the screen. Matcha itself is great quality. I get the matcha tiramisu often. Though, for the price, i wish it was in a larger container. Service is always what tanks the experience for me. On both busy and non-busy days, the workers often chat for extended periods of time, make their own drinks. (This has been consistent each time I've gone). Which almost always ruins the experience. But I'll always go for the drinks themselves. read more
Cool cute ambiance best matcha place that exists on the planet. The place feels like a spa. I finished my drink in about two seconds. The only thing is it's busy so be prepared for a bit of a line but once you order the drink is ready in no time. I've heard many locals praise this place as well. Amazing must try read more

Really great experience! I was visiting emeryville over the weekend and this was just 10 mins away from me, so I stopped by. I went here Saturday morning, and Sunday afternoon. I ordered a double matcha with regular sweetness and it was so good I came back for the same matcha the next day! Just a heads up there is going to be a line when you come here, it's a pretty popular location and they hand whisk all of their drinks! The service was very nice, they welcomed me in and I got a text when my order was ready. I'll definitely be back! read more
Ordered the matcha coco cloud and the creme brulee crepe and both were delicious! The matcha coco cloud was refreshing on a hot day, and the matcha didn't taste watered down. The crepes are only available Friday - Sunday at 12 PM, until they're sold out. Sometimes, they'll be available a bit earlier before 12, so I'd recommend checking their Instagram! You order on the kiosk. The shop is a bit small and does get pretty packed, so you might have to wait outside and periodically go in to see if your order is done. The creme brulee topping was delicious, although a bit too sweet for me. It felt like I was taken back to Japan while I was eating it. It's definitely very filling as well. Seating wise, there's a small bench to sit on indoors, and a few tables and chairs outside. When I arrived on a weekend around 1, there was only about 10 people ahead of me, but I imagine that this place will get more popular once it's all over social media. There also is no restroom available, just a FIY. I'd definitely come back here again if I was in the area! read more

For some reason, the size of this drink was smaller than I imagine. The matcha tiramisu was ok. On the naturally sweeter side, more enjoyable than the matcha latte. The matcha latte was bland.... And we think for that price and for a line out the door for this place, it shouldn't be. For my drink, there was also a broken piece of the matcha whisk inside my drink for which I sipped up...... not good and hazardous. read more

Perfect matcha spot, especially when there is a new one opening at every corner. The attention to detail is great and the types of matchas are amazing. I wish it was easier to figure out which one to get, but that just means another reason to go back to try more. read more

This space is so cute!!! Love that there's a pretty matcha place. As you start walking toward this place you'll notice a line! For your first time there is it worth waiting? Yessssss Once you make it in you'll notice the cutest seats. Love the ambiance here, simple yet sweet. I ordered the creme brulee matcha custard cream with strawberry crepe!
