Maruwu Seicha is definitely worth the stop if you're in Japantown! I got the pistachio matcha, and it actually tasted like real pistachios--not artificial at all. It was refreshing and not too sweet and it had a smooth taste. I then ordered the cheese tart. It was a little cheesy but a bit flakey like some in SF ( It's national cheese day). It was also savory and tasty. I then had to try their Ube tart. The purple tart was a bit sweet and a was deliciousness and a bit creamy and flakey. There were limited sweetness options (0%, 50%, or 100%) so I selected 50% sweetness. Despite the long queue of drinks ahead of me, mine was miraculously prepared in under 10 minutes. The matcha latte was smooth and silky, although very sweet (25% sweetness would have been perfect). I saw many other customers walking around with matcha soft serve cones, which I'll have to try on my next visit.
