Loved the convenient table ordering! I got the Yumee katsu with the udon! The katsu did come with lots of sides! I definitely enjoyed the cabbage salad the most. I thought the katsu was breaded well and it was crispy and the cuts were the perfect thickness. I do think their katsu sauce could've been more flavorful though. The udon with the set also could've been hotter. The soup was just lukewarm which I didn't enjoy as much. The service was friendly and they came to ask if we needed any refills! Overall, I would love to be back to try their other katsu dishes.

Mixed platter. Shrimp is my favorite here.

On the first visit, I ordered the curry udon set and the katsu is the freshest I've had in the area. Will be back to try other dishes because the food is delicious, quality, and the prices are affordable for me. Love those perfectly toothsome noodles! I've visited many other times, early for lunch before they get too crowded. Must say that this is the most tender, juicy, and flakey crispy dongas that I've had in Georgia so far. My favorite is the fried shrimp. Their citrus salad dressing is addictive. Their sides are unlimited so keep ordering as much as you like. Note that you can order a side of hot or cold soba, but it is difficult to find on the English menu. I love their cold soba. Cafe atmosphere. Can't wait for their 2nd location to open in Duluth on Old Norcross.

Delicious Katsu! The fry on the breading was top notch. The katsu shrimp were a first for me and definitely something I will go back for more of. The cheese katsu was not really my style, but was as well made as the rest. The service was a bit slower than I would have expected for having a tablet ordering system but they are still a newer restaurant and it was a relaxed meal anyway. The place was great looking as expected from a new restaurant and the modern vibes were a nice touch for the meal. The sauces were solid, the salad was ok, the soup was fish based so not for me, and the kimchi dikon was alright. I wil be going back.

Yumee is a chain from Korea that just opened in Suwanee, as a part of the katsu craze that's been going around in ATL. Interior is nice and ordering was convenient as you order via the tablet. We tried the soba, curry katsu, and topokki katsu. My favorite was the refreshing summer soba that had amazing flavors! As for the katsu, its more on the bland side but loved the clean, non-greasy, tender, and crispy bites. It definitely needs sauce, curry, etc to help with the flavor but was still solid for the texture. The side of cabbage is a bit lackluster as the sauce had no flavor and wished it had more of a vinegar kick but loved the kkakdugi and radish sides to cleanse your palate. Would come back again!

It's literally in the name... YUMEEEEEEEEE! The spicy tofu soup katsu was so delicious, service was great and you can easily order by clicking a few buttons on the tablet. I also got the assorted katsu (so I could try everything out) and the shrimp was surprisingly tasty and super CRISPY. I think this is an amazing in and out restaurant, quick food, good service all around 5/5!!

Fire! Food was amazing! Especially loved the kimchi tofu nabe! Service is great! They even use a table side iPad to make things more efficient kind of has an up and coming cool vibe!

Katsu didn't taste as good as some of the other Katsu places I've been to in the area but that's fine. If the quality was good it would've been worth the price but it wasn't. The service itself was fine though but overalls average when it comes to Katsu.

Food is great. Service absolutely sucks. Not once did anyone come by and asked if we needed anything. Not once. Had to constantly ask. I would suggest having a self service center where you can pick up utensils, water, and etc and get rid of the tip if it's going to be that way. Food is great tho.

This is my new favorite Katsu place! The Pork Katsu is very juicy, not dry at all. The batter is very crispy, i guess because of the rack they use on the plate. The Kimchi Nabe is so spicy, I didn't expect that.

This is a fun spot. You are seated by a host but you order through a tablet at a table which is nice. This is a tonkatsu specialty place but they also have full size udon, soba and curry if you are not into the pork. If you are though... i highly recommend the cheese tonkatsu!! The cheese is ooey gooey and is inside a pork "bowl". The sauce served with it is very fresh and has a chunkier consistency the most tonkatsu sauce I have tried, texture reminded me of applesauce. The sauce is so good I wish they gave a little bit more. You can get a combo and the side choices are either a full or small size soba, udon or curry. I love the mini cold soba. Definitely a place added to my favorites rotation!

Best katsu in Georgia so far! Love how soft and tender the katsu was. Breading could have been a little firmer/crispier. I love the set I got which included topokki . I love the dressing that came with the cabbage. Also I like how they have the self ordering tablets. Convenient location in Suwanee. Would come again :)

Interior is clean and minimal! Katsu has thick cuts of meat and is cooked well. The katsu by itself can be a little heavy/greasy, but it pairs nicely with the citrusy side salad. Ordering is done via a tablet on the table, which is efficient. Servers walk around with a cart for refills on radish sides and sauces.

Hot soba only

Great value for money and taste, Kisoya is much better! First and last visit! And won't be recommended for friends

Interior was good but Katsu itself wasn't anything special. Side dishes lack volumes. Cabbage salads held too much water.

We took in the soft jazz music. bright, open restaurant full of large booths as we waited. After being seated, our server came by to explain the menu and then take our order. We decided on chicken karaage, as well as the kurogoma fillet katsu. The karaage came out fairly quickly, and I was surprised at the portion! The chicken was tender with a light crispy coating. It was served with an onion relish and shredded cabbage. Afterwards came our meals and it did not disappoint. The kurogoma fillet katsu was lightly crusted with their homemade breadcrumbs with black sesame seeds. It was beyond tender and that made the crispy outside even better. It was served with truffle salt, katsu sauce that could be doctored up with chili pepper powder, miso soup, rice and shredded cabbage salad. The pepper condiments and picked vegetables gave a nice Korean flair to the katsu. The homemade dressing was fresh and tasty. The food was great and if they can stay consistent, they definitely have a winner on their hands. I was expecting some hiccups in service, after reading reviews, but did not encounter any issues. Service was attentive, except for our empty water pitcher. We will definitely return soon...it was that good!

We had: - kurogoma fillet katsu: aged pork tender breaded by in house black sesame bread crumbs. Comes with 2 fillets, the color is definitely darker bc of the black sesame but you can't taste it at all. Was expecting more out of this bc it sounded so interesting - fillet katsu: aged pork tender breaded by in house butter bread crumbs. Nothing super special but not bad - chicken katsu: fresh chicken tender breaded with in house butter bread crumbs. Was more moist and tender compared to the pork so would get this over the pork options - shrimp katsu: 1 black and 1 white shrimp, this was really good! Just $3.99 per piece - soba noodles: chilled buckwheat noodles with homemade tsuyu sauce. Comes with wasabi, grated radish. The sauce is a bit bland and required a lot of wasabi. For all the katsu, you do get a bowl of white rice, a salad and dressing (the dressing was tangy and delicious) as well as some pickled sides and salt + katsu sauce for dipping. There's a small amount of chongyang pepper pesto is what they call it but it wasn't really a pesto. Sounded better than it tasted, was a bit bitter for me? Glad I tried but it wasn't my favorite katsu place

Aji Katsu in Suwanee, GA Japanese Tonkatsu & Ramen Spot…read more I am just not a big fan of the sweet flavor in Japanese cuisine. Aji Katsu does have some similar flavors in Japan. Shrimp Curry Udon - Classic Japanese curry: slightly sweet, super rich, and bold. Sauce coats every udon perfectly. Shrimp tempura a bit over-fried, slightly chewy, but tonkatsu-style breadcrumbs gave it a nice crunch. 8.5/10 Yakisoba - Generous portion for the price! Sauce has that tangy, fruity flavor I remember from Tokyo. Beef lightly seasoned. Personally, tangy noodles aren't my favorite, but Tokyo street-style lovers will enjoy. 8/10 Hibachi (Hambāgu) - Grilled Japanese hamburger steak, fried rice, sautéed veggies. Meat tender, veggies had a hint of truffle seasoning. Sweet teriyaki glaze not my favorite. 7/10 Bingsu - Red beans + condensed milk. Small size perfect for 2. Sweet, creamy, refreshing. 9/10

Initially, entering the store was a bit off. The hostess didn't speak to me for about two minutes; she'd made the assumption I was with another party getting a pick up order. But after that was resolved, I was seated quickly. The store layout was nice; big booths with tall sides for privacy. I'm not sure if I liked how all their chopsticks were in a container you pulled from the table but overall a small detail. I did really like getting ice cold water and the metal carafe they provided kept the ice out of the drink. I went for their Aji Ramen and got the $10 3 handroll add on. My choices were unagi, toro, and spicy tuna. Shockingly they didn't have any spicy tuna do I chose a salmon instead. The hand rolls came out first and a pair of scissors were also provided if I wanted to cut them myself. Here are my thoughts: Toro - surprisingly bland. There wasn't the feeling of rich fatness that I expect with it though to be fair I am comparing this to a far higher end omakase experience. Needless to say, I wouldn't chose this again. Salmon - surprisingly good. This ended up being my favorite of the three. The salmon was nice and fresh and the soy sauce and wasabi made for tasty savor bites. Unagi - also good. I'm a sucker for eel. Because of the ponzu sauce, there's no need for soy sauce. I made a mistake of dipping a piece that I cut from the handroll and it was way too salty. Eaten as is, it was just what I expected Aji Ramen - a solid bowl of ramen. I was very pleased with the full egg and also the chashu pork. I don't know if I recall the bean sprouts but at $14, this was kind of a steal in terms of bang for buck. Plenty of food even by itself. All in all, I liked Aji-Katsu. I don't think I'd travel for it but if I was in the area and in the mood I would stop in again.

Went on a Friday night and everything tasted phenominal!…read more It was crowded on a Friday night, but there were still enough parkings and tables when we came. We got seated right away. Appetizers Ginger salad was great. Something about the ginger sauce made it special. Miso Soup was flavorful. Highly concentrated with miso and nicely salted. Tuna Tataki was one of the best we ever had. The sauce underneath was tangy, not too sweet or too citrusy. Tuna was tender and lightly charred. Lamb Chops was so delicious. They did well getting rid of the gamey scent. It still distinctly tasted like lamb though. Meat was juicy and tender. I think the only seasonings were salt and pepper on top. It did came with a minty green sauce on the side, but I personally would preferred not to use it because it completely hide the lamb taste. The side arugula salad was equally amzing with cheese and some kind of dressing already mixed in. The only complaint is that it came with 4 snall pieces. Main Course Negitoro had fresh, high quality tuna on top with green onions. It will melt in your mouth. Sounds basic but the quality made it stand out from other places. 12 & 69 Degrees Roll had tuna inside, salmon and avacado on top, drizzle with mayo and Sriracha sauce.
