I also noticed that the table next to us appeared to receive much more attentive service. Their drinks were refilled, their dishes were cleared promptly, and staff regularly checked on them to see if they needed anything. In comparison, our table received very little attention. I don't know why there was such a difference in service. It left me wondering whether we were being treated differently, though I can't say for certain. The woman told me that I need to try fresh wasabi, I would be surprised. She brought over the dish and it looked like pickled relish, not the powder paste you typically see with sushi. She taught me how to dress the sushi roll correctly and went above and beyond. We talked about how they are from South Korea, and had a wonderful chat. I will definitely come back for their hospitality. They are wonderful and the fish was very fresh. The ambiance is also very calm, it is not too loud, you are able to talk comfortably.
