Finally got to try this place after coming here 3 separate occasions that they were closed. The Pho was actually really good. Excellent broth. Not too salty, yet flavorful. The price for it however, not so excellent. $7.99 for a small bowl is a little steep by my standards. I also got a Banh Mi sandwich to go, so I will definitely update my review later. The actual restaurant itself, was tiny. Maybe could fit 10-13 people. It was very clean and the ambiance was bright and welcoming though. Love this place! I eat there multiple times per week because I work just around the corner. More than fair prices, attentive service, and tasty Banh MI's. Every once in a while the bread will he just slightly crunchier, but most days it's soft and perfect. I usually get the one with pork and egg and both are *always* perfectly cooked. Amazing food, people, and location. The seating feels cozy and vast at the same time due to the use of windows. I've had the privilege to try almost everything on the menu and you cannot miss. The chef knows what they are doing and they are speedy as well. This has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Everett. It's unpretentious yet they serve some of the best banh mi's in the Seattle area. I lived in the Bay Area for over a decade and I know what a good Banh mi tastes like. My favorites are chicken egg and pork egg banh mi. The owner we ran into on this past Sunday is super nice. Not only did she offer us a thick plastic bag to hold our groceries from the farmers market next door, she also offered us the tasty popcorns she got from the farmers market. Even the veggies from the vermicelli noodle bowl was bought from the farmers market. If you are looking for freshly made, simple yet delicious Vietnamese cuisine in the north end, this is it. I walked in and was greeted by 3 employees, very friendly. Ordered 2 #6 pork Bahn Mi sandwiches. One for now and one for later. Within 7 minutes my food was ready and I was out the door. The bread wasn't quite as soft as I like but everything else about it was really good. The meat to veggie ratio leaned rowards the meat which was nice. Overall a good tasty sandwich. Nice complex authentic broth. The best part is they have opened a new location on Colby (the former Romio's location).
