This is my third review of the day so I am running out of steam but I will do my best to do Pinji's justice. We ordered from here for lunch during our recent stay in Wilmington. I was planning on ordering a coffee but that quickly changed when I saw bubble tea on the menu. I ordered a taro. I was pleased by their vegetarian options and opted for their veggie on focaccia. This was served on the most delicious bread you can imagine with a really delightful crunch. The bread pretty much made the sandwich in all honesty but the roasted red peppers, mozz, tomato, lettuce, hummus, and pesto didn't hurt. I don't recall detecting the pesto in the flavor profile but overall, it was a very enjoyable sandwich. The bubble tea was great but it was frozen. It was very bizarre. I wasn't expecting this and I don't remember this being mentioned on the menu. GF ordered the well being sandwich, which she reports was "excellent" as well as hash browns which were soggy. This place serves up solid sandwiches and I would recommend giving them a try if that is what you are in the mood for. read more

Korean owned with a few Korean menu items including a Bulgogi Breakfast Bowl, Bulgogi Sandwich, and five Korean style ramen options, Pinji's has a very loyal following. On our first trip there, we ran into at least 4 regulars who raved about the food. We ordered two sandwiches and two veggie ramen. One was prepared mild for our son and the other was spicy. There were some very spicy peppers in the second one. Truthfully, it's reminiscent of higher end instant ramen. Good, but maybe it should be priced a little lower. The Bulgogi Sandwich was good. It included a decent amount of ribeye, cucumber, greens, and a spicy mayo on foccaccia bread. Overall, it was a good experience and we'll be back again. read more

Tucked across the street from the majority of the Trolley Square establishment, Pinji's Cafe is easily overlooked, but I'm telling you: it is 100% worth crossing the street, even at that annoying 5-way intersection. The bulgogi wrap is amazing --- perfectly seasoned Korean beef with fresh lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion, finished with a spicy mayo and served with a little bag of potato chips. Beverage-wise, I will admit I was not a fan of the coffee. However, they have excellent boba tea, so I'm going to call it a win. After exploring Brandywine Park Trail, we hit our phones to find someplace to grab breakfast - Pinji's came up and we figured why not?! Do not let the looks or the smell deceive you - it's right below an apartment building and looks unassuming (and it kinda smelled like my Great Aunt's house - my son even commented he wanted to leave as soon as we walked in because he didn't care for the smell). The food was awesome - we ordered a frozen hot chocolate for the kids, which they gulped up, along with pancakes and a breakfast sandwich. The pancakes had to be an inch thick - perfectly fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. My son's sandwich looked pretty darn good as well. My husband and I both got their breakfast bowls. They were probably the best bowls we have ever had - the hashbrowns were crunchy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and all the ratios of fixings to egg were on point. It is such a simple breakfast, but so many cannot get it right....Penji's did. We don't live in DE or close to Pinji's, this was an adventure for us, but we have already said we need to go back. read more

the reviews were not lying this place truly is so good i ordered the bulgogi wrap and honeydew boba tea, and i was nervous for the honeydew boba but it was actually sooo good and refreshing and the bulgogi wrap was good too, i just wish it was bigger especially considering the price it comes at a half size of your standard wrap/burrito. i also wish they included more bulgogi meat which you do have an option to pay extra for overall i will definitely be coming back to try the rest of their menu read more

This place is my go - to breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner spot. Everything is fresh, made quickly, and done with love. My usual buys are the bacon/egg/cheese on everything breakfast sandwich, protein smoothie with lots of greens, and Pinji's special (made into salad but if you buy as a sandwich it's even better because the bread is so fresh). Vegetable Ramen, spicy, with egg, to-go. This has been my standard order since trying ramen from Pinji since early 2016. And I've been there WEEKLY. I love Pinji, I love how she cares so much for her business, I love the employees and how they always smile and are so nice, and the food is just perfection. I first learned of them when they were a hidden spot on Market St, from a great co-worker. From that moment on Pinji's Cafe has been a normal part of life, to be honest. After that location closed, I was happy to see them in the old eefoc's space in Trolley. They have breakfast sandwiches and smoothies (they perfectly can recreate my favorite Chicago smoothie), lunch sandwiches and bulgogi, ramen, coffee, tea, and soup. Well hello Pinji's Cafe!! I just enjoyed delicious brunch yesterday and will definitely be back. Vegetarian options ftw! Although I'm no longer on the meat train, they have prosciutto, and well, that meat is the don of all juans! Brilliantly, I ordered two meals for myself, the Avocado sand and vegetable ramen. The sandwich was a perfect blend of veggies with pesto and a balsamic dressing. I didn't eat much of the Ramen bc the sandwich was sufficient but I gladly finished it for dinner. The soup was savory with just the right amount of vegetables & spice! After chatting with staff, I discovered that their bread is picked up daily from Le Bus in KOP, a wonderful bakery , so it makes total sense that there wasn't a crumb left on my plate. I love getting my Healthy Shakes, and breakfast specials! My go to spot on the weekends, dog friendly, we sit outside with London or Cayden! They have a bowl of water waiting for our canine friends. I had this amazing Cafe con Leche!! This is a great spot for vegans, and those that want to eat healthy, without sacrificing taste! They have it all! Breakfast, lunch, wraps or sandwiches...
