Horrible first experience!!!!!!!! This hair is too expensive to receive 3 bundles and a closure of pure mess!!!! Their photos they promote on their website and social media are staged! I ordered wavy elegance and it was a frizzy mess! Looking like a rats nest!!! It looked nothing like the pictures they advertise! There was nothing shiny, flowing, full of body about this hair! Not good quality at all!!! And then I submitted a review on their site and received absolutely no response whatsoever!!!! Now I'm stuck with this expensive mess of hair plus this expensive install for nothing over the holidays! Horrible way to treat customers who work hard for their money to support your business! I won't be purchasing again and will be sharing my review on multiple platforms. I've had cheaper hair from Mayvenn that has some synthetic crap in it look better than this! Totally upset! read more

Literally the most dry hair extensions I have ever purchased, like straw straight out the red silk bags. I am trying to condition it somehow I am using my 60 dollar shampoo and conditioner and I dono ‍. For over 400 dollars and the (what must be fake) reviews I thought finally a good hair brand. Nah, y'all run away, far away! I'm serious don't you buy it. The wefts are stitched nice though, if you seal them they won't shed really. But the hair itself is horribly treated. I used to Swear by yummy BUT I think they have a néw vendor because the loose wave is crappy! As we speak I'm at thanksgiving dinner trying to help put out the food and my weave is shedding EVERYWHERE. So much so that people are mentioning it! How embracing. I was not totally satisfied with Yummy Hair. The tracks are split and the end of the track was clearly cut (customer service stated that apparently this was their normal practice). The hair did tangle but I tried to deep condition once a week to help. I would suggest only purchasing if they have a sale. So I tried and tried to like this hair but a month after install and I'm just gonna have to call it what it is. This hair is absolutely terrible. I feel like I've been played. I ordered 3 bundles of the Lao Wavy 22-24-26 inches and a closure and from the moment I took it out of its packaging I was a bit concerned. It felt dry off top. It smelled really good and it even looked good but to the touch the hair was did not feel luxurious AT ALL. But I decided that it had to be because the hair needed to be washed first. This was not the case. This hair gets more and more dry as the weeks go on. It sheds like CRAZY and actually has the nerve to tangle in the back during the day. Then don't get me started in the closure!! Everywhere you part the closure it has a LOT of super short strands of hair that just stick straight up. I had to start cutting them so that I don't have to walk around looking like a porcupine by the head. I am beyond annoyed considering the fact that I spent $700 on this mediocre hair. I was so in love with the curly Burma hair and had planned to purchase but not anymore. I should've listened to the reviews but I'd heard good things about this hair online and their IG pics were to die for. Ordered the raw curly Burma based on the marketed versatility of this hair and it does not live up to the price nor the hype. It reminds me of some AliExpress hair that I ordered and hated. The hair is hard and crunchy. It sticks together, dries stiff and has zero movement. I have reached out to the company multiple times to inquire if it's a care issue, I literally just got the hair so I haven't done anything but cowash. The worst hair on the planet, do not I repeat do not waste your money here. I have been dealing with them for over a month trying to get a store credit on my hair because it's dry, brittle and sheds ALOT. Ask me to come in for a evaluation of the hair but still wouldn't give a store credit. Your not a value customer and they most definitely don't value your time for them to keep playing ring around the Rosie about a situation that could've been easily resolved. And to make matters worst, when ask to speak to the owner their response was "she doesn't speak to her customers", why? But you can take our money!! Once they get your money your nothing to them because they got what they wanted. So we've all seen the "tangle free, matte free, non shedding" reviews and pictures, but for some reason the negative reviews are nonexistent. I reviewed their Deep Curl 18 inch frontal and the review is no where on their website. I gave the frontal 1 star. I bought 3 frontals and 4 bundles of hear from yummy this year. The only frontal I had issues with thus far is their deep curl frontal. I received the package and I took the hair out of it's satin bag and ran my fingers gently through it and it shed, when I wet the hair with conditioner and brushed it with my denmen brush it shed. I was hoping the shedding was just loose hair. Yummy's policy sates that you cannot exchange a frontal if you have manipulated in any way. The hair has to be fresh out of the package if you want a exchange. I have suffered with this shedding frontal since July. Because of the shedding I have had to cut the lace on the frontal so far back that it is no longer a 13 x 4. There are bald spots all over. The frontal is always frizzy regardless of the products used that are suggested by Yummy. When I detangle it the hair just stays in the denmen brush. I'm so ashamed to have that mop on my head. The curls are so loose it's ridiculous. I might have gotten a bad frontal, but just beware of a company that hides it's bad reviews. read more

As a celebrity hair stylist I have used Yummy and Superblackhair.com. Yummy is decent but a little pricey. Yummy has to be washed with a special shampoo and conditioner while the other hairs that I have used can be washed with any shampoo and conditioner at anytime. No hair ompany is perfect but I would like to see Yummy offer a full refund money back guarantee on all their hair like Superblackhair.com. I walked in and was immediately greeted and helped, easy check out no one trying to up-sale me so I'm good. As far as the hair itself it's good, I've had a bit of tangling which I'm not fond of it other than that I don't have anything to complain about as far as the hair goes. I bought a closure 18 inch , I believe it was the Cambodian line, I can't remember I was trying to match my other hair which was the SEA collection by DHair boutique so the match was almost close. If I had the option of not giving a star that's exactly what i would do! This company dropped the ball! I've sent 4 emails in total complaining about my frontal not matching the bundles and they recommended a curly hair product. I used it and it still doesn't not fix the actual issue being that I have 2 different textures. I spent $500 and I can't even get a follow up email considering I've have sent 3 to his week. Reasons like this make it extremely hard to support black business because the customer service is SLACK!. In my salon, when I charge $800 for extensions and install and my client has an issue I do everything in my power to fix that issue. I would expect a hair company selling $200 bundles to do that and more. It's how you maintain a good name. Yummy you dropped the ball! I purchased Raw LOA Wavy at the recommendation of my stylist. She said she had heard wonderful reports about the quality of the hair being superior to others. So, taking her advice, I ordered 3 bundles. They were promptly shipped to my house and when I opened the package I was pleased. My stylist colored & highlighted the hair & installed my weave. One bundle must've been defective or mixed with synthetic hair, it would accept color or highlights the same way the other 2 bundles had, and within in days of getting the weave the hair started to matte & tangle into clumps - it was impossible to get out, had to cut some hair, and it looked like a bird's nest in the back. No matter what I did with it, wore it out, put it in a bun, wrapped it in a scarf, the results were the same. The Yummy Extension website states, "absolutely no synthetic fibers...no matting or tangling." The product I received does not completely match this description and as a result, I have to replace all of the hair. Such a disappointment and a colossal waste of money! Will not purchase again. Going to have this hair taken out and going back to the previous brand I had been using - it is truly exceptional quality hair and I had NO problems with it, ever! read more
