This is more than twice as expensive as it is at Balady in Bay Ridge. I was shocked. For the prices alone I will shop elsewhere.

I have shopped at this Key Food for a long time, and every time the same security guard is working, he follows me around the store and watches me closely. I have never stolen anything, I always pay for everything I buy, and there has never been any issue involving me. Today, the situation crossed the line. After I had already paid for all of my groceries, the security guard told me that I needed to pay for my ice cream--even though it had already been paid for. Being falsely accused of not paying was humiliating and made me feel like I was being treated as a thief without any reason. I also noticed the same security guard walking around the store eating fruit while on duty. I don't believe that is professional behavior in front of customers. No customer should have to feel targeted, embarrassed, or falsely accused while simply shopping for groceries. I hope management reviews this incident and takes appropriate action so that all customers are treated fairly and respectfully. 7.18.2026
