My Deputy Yelper proclaimed that the chicken with her Vietnamese Style Breakfast was cooked to perfection, with just the right seasoning. The "over easy" eggs also looked to be perfectly cooked to over easy. I had the tofu Bahn Mi sandwich, comes with a side of what look like house-made chips, balanced with some very tasty cucumber slices. Certainly among the best Bhan Mi's I've ever had. Check out their "Das Hot Sauce" - it is spicy! In the middle of the meal, I asked our server for a hot Vietnamese coffee. He seemed to have forgotten the order because some time went by without it arriving, but that was fine with me as I actually wanted the coffee after finishing lunch. So as I finished eating, he came over, apologized for not bringing the coffee earlier, and said he'd bring it now - but wouldn't put it on the bill since he had fogotten it earlier! Does restautant service ever get better than that? The coffee, BTW, was delicious and soooo hot. Will definitely be back, there are many vegetarian and vegan items on the menu that are so intriguing.

Claire (bartender) and Brooke (server) were both attentive and a joy to be around. The food was fantastic and was on a constant rotation so there was always something new and warm ready for my guests. The fried eggplant and zuchinni and mushroom pizza were massive hits (everything was but these were standout). We used the third floor for our dinner. The views of the Schuykill are second to none! There are fireplaces along the walls that provide a warm, easy-going ambiance. Along with the dark wood bar and comfortable lounge furniture in front of a tv (gameday?), it's been awhile since I've been in a restaurant that can create the exact ambience I was looking for. Thank you to Stacey, Randall, and the entire In Riva team for a delicious dinner and unforgettable experience!

They offer seating both inside and outside, and we chose the patio. Great decision! We enjoyed live music while we ate, which made for a fantastic atmosphere. I started with a Dimora cocktail, made with tequila and passion fruit. It was good, but it didn't quite steal the show. Now for the food. For an appetizer we shared a couple Margarita Pizzas, they were amazing! They also brought some bread, hint save some bread to soak up all that sauce let on your pasta plate! I ordered the Short Rib Gnocchi, and it was excellent, tender short rib, pillowy gnocchi, and a flavorful herbed wine sauce that brought everything together perfectly. Someone at our table ordered the Marry Me Tagliatelle, and wow... it was so good I'm actually glad I didn't order it. If I had, I might have gotten myself into trouble with my wife after spending the entire meal talking about Marry Me Tagliatelle pasta! The Ravioli was also outstanding and definitely worth ordering. The service was top-notch. Jessie was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu, making the experience even better. If you live nearby, what are you waiting for? Great food, live music, excellent service, and a relaxing patio--sounds like a winning combination to me.

I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich. Wow! The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. Then I added a side of Onion Rings, and let me tell you, these easily rank in my Top 4 onion rings of all time. Perfectly cooked, crispy, and absolutely delicious. My future daughter-in-law ordered the Ricotta & Fruit Toast, and it looked amazing. Fresh, colorful, and almost too pretty to eat... almost. If you're out walking the trails by the river and start feeling hungry, do yourself a favor and stop in. Whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or just a great place to relax for a bit, you won't be disappointed. And if you're ordering the onion rings, don't plan on sharing--they're that good!

Quality sandwiches - no fuss no frill but good solid food. I tried the Casanova a perfectly pounded crispy cutlet with fresh motz, tomato, pesto and balsamic drizzle. They have a few booths for you to sit and eat as well as colorful tables outside too, but I get the idea this is more of a grab and go joint. Decorated in retro grunge decor complete with a stack of old console televisions and orange booth seats the place has a whole vibe. They also have an assortment of items for purchase like handmade soaps and beauty concoctions, stickers, hot sauces, honeys, teas and the like. Next time I would buy one of the packets of Hot Honey that they sell or add fried onions to spruce it up a bit. I had a great experience and would go back though.
