L18. Panang Curry Lunch Special Sorry, I started eating before I thought to snap a pic for the review.

Excellent food and service! I had the Panang Curry and spring egg roll. The Panang Curry was very flavorful and the right balance of sweet and spicy. The spring egg roll was crispy and dipping in the chili sauce kicked it up a notch. The restaurant was clean, cozy and very inviting atmosphere. Loved everything about this restaurant from the food, prices and service.

I've seen the back of the Thai Zaap Cafe from Interstate 10 many times and thought, "I should go there someday..." Well I finally did go, and I'm glad I did! Thai Zaap is located in a strip mall which also includes a TJ Maxx and a Home Goods. It's in the back of the shopping center. The exterior doesn't look like much, but the interior is decorated with lots of Thai statuary and pictures. Looks pretty authentic! I found the proprietor very friendly and accommodating. The lunch menu was nicely priced and included a variety of classic Thai dishes. The fresh rolls were particularly nice, with a pair of sauces to complement them. I had a big glass of iced tea to go with them, but I noticed that there were a variety of Thai tea options as well. I tend to go with Asian noodle dishes, and had Pad Woon Sen. It was quite nice! Thai Zaap is a great little local restaurant that's conveniently located on Veterans Memorial Blvd., just off Interstate 10. It's an easy stop if you are passing through, and is a healthy local alternative. What's not to like about that?

It was good. Quick service. Our server was nice. Went on a Saturday night and we had the place to ourselves which I loved. Tried a few dishes all were delicious. The rice and pad Thai could've used so much more onion and peanut.

They reworked their Pad Thai, sauce is excellent and saucy. Add lime, it balances it out. Noodles were a tad thinner, which I like. Overall it ranks 3rd on my list of Pad Thai. Thank you for another enjoyable meal.

Served inside / next to a bar but far better than your typical bar food. Friendly service and warm food. Definitely will go back to explore the menu...

I stopped in on a Saturday after 2 p.m. and was seated and served right away. The service was great, and everything we ordered was delicious. I especially enjoyed the roti, drunken noodles, and pad Thai. We went with level 2 spice, which was the perfect amount of heat. It was enough to add a kick without overpowering the flavors or blowing out your palate. Definitely a spot I'd visit again! Prob some of the best Thai food I've had in a while.

The drunken noodles were super flavorful on their own, and they definitely weren't kidding about the spice level. We ordered level 4 spicy and they actually added real Thai chilies into the noodles. But the real star of the meal was the dessert. The sticky rice was sweet, soft, and warm, and the coconut milk on the side made it good enough to eat by itself. Pairing it with the ube ice cream just took it to another level -- the mix of warm and cold together was so good. I've never had sticky rice with ube ice cream before, but honestly it might be something I start ordering from now on. Our server was really nice and patient, especially since it took me awhile to decide what I wanted to order. I also didn't go during rush hour, so the service was quick and smooth. The place itself is on the smaller side, but it's perfect if you're on the go and need a quick bite for lunch or dinner.

Although the restaurant was busy, it was comfortable and not overly loud. As always, the food did not disappoint. I had a cup of Tom Kha soup with chicken, while my husband ordered the Tom Yum soup with chicken. Both were perfectly spicy and absolutely delicious. We also shared a sausage appetizer, which was very good, and then split a shrimp and scallop entrée that was truly outstanding. I will definitely be ordering that again. I can't wait to go back.

The restaurant sets off cute date or special event night vibes with its trendy, inviting atmosphere. I love how the bar and main dining area are separated- you can either dine at the tables or go next door to hang out for drinks. We stopped by for a late lunch and were greeted warmly by our sweet waitress Mikayla. She was very helpful and patient with any questions we had with items on the menu. Service was stellar A+++ !!! Now onto the incredible FOOD: Bo Ne - filet mignon steak cubes & eggs (10/10): When an entree comes out sizzling & the aroma wakes you up- you know it has to be AMAZINGLY FLAVORFUL & FANTASTIC! Spread the butter & pate on the toasted bread, then use it to soak up all the INCREDIBLE flavor explosion from the sizzling steak & eggs!!! *VOILA chef's kiss* (side note: I grew up in Houston & had Bo Ne fairly regularly & I honestly think Ba Chi elevates this dish to another realm!!!) Curry clams & fries (10/10): I was worried I wouldn't like it because I wanted mussels, which were unavailable. To my surprise, this dish was another great hit !!! The yellow curry flavors were unique - a bit of heat & spice but not overwhelming. Next time, I would ask for the fries to be served on the side so that they stay crispy! We really wanted to slurp down a gallon of the curry- it really was THAT good! Pro tip: get a side of vermicelli noodles (or rice), mix it with the leftover curry & proceed to gobble it all up if you have room left in your tummy! Spicy lemongrass chicken wings (8/10): These were good-sized wings that packed a little punch with the spice! We enjoyed the spicy lemongrass flavor of the crispy wings (be aware that not everyone has a palate for lemongrass- they have other flavors available for those less adventurous eaters). DRINK: Dragon Slay-Her: what a gorgeous & beautiful drink - the dragon fruit margarita was a specialty cocktail I've never had before and I LOVED IT !!! (10/10) Their espresso martini with ube foam is another popular cocktail & I look forward to trying it on my next visit! TL; DR: If you're wanting to FIRE UP and add some PIZAZZ & all that jazz to your fabulous foodie life, then make lunch/dinner/drink plans for Ba Chi! You'll have the best dining experience there with quality food and top notch service! We LOVEDDD & enjoyed our dining experience today!

I stopped by here around 2pm (after lunch rush) on a weekday after picking up a friend from the airport. The staff were so friendly and helpful even though we left a bit of a mess with the baby deciding to throw her food around after her belly was full. I apologize for the mess and thank you for taking care of us!!! I noticed the staff worked together as a team to take care of its patrons. We ordered the banh xeo- it was very crispy and full of fillings (bean sprouts, onions, pork, shrimp). The banh xeo itself had a noticeable sweet coconut taste which complemented the savory filings. The bun bo hue had a good spicy lemongrass flavor and the meats were tender and juicy. The lemongrass tofu vermicelli was also good! Meal portions were generous and we enjoyed all the food. Nudo is definitely worthy to be added to your list of lunch/dinner rotations. We had a great dining experience there and hope you do too!
