A group of us tried to go here for lunch. Unfortunately, we found out that it was closed due to license suspension.

Oil in bag.. so disgusting
Jacqueline F.

Yucky Thai! Avoid the disappointment myself and 4 coworkers ordered food and it was an awful mess. The crazy noodles we ordered were extremely oily to the point the entire bag was a mess and it ruined the containers of the order food. The pad thai was dry and flavorless and the rice was awful. I called to tell them and the person only replied with a thanks for letting me know. We will not be ordering again!

9-10-2023 Still meh. Ordered for pick up. Service was fast, but he was more interested in watching the Bear's game than customers. Got vegetable tom yum soup. It was SUPER sweet. Not worth $9. Contained carrots, American broccoli, bamboo shoots, mushrooms and cabbage. I live nearby, so I randomly try to order different items from here. It's always disappointing. There are many other Thai restaurants in this area that are better. Website with updated menu: https://yummythaiil.smiledining.com//?2023073102

Spicy Crazy Noodle Thai Iced Tea

The service was impeccable! The food came out very quick and was piping hot! (Which was perfect for the weather since it's so cold.) I had their "Spicy Crazy Noodles" and the Thai Iced Tea. Both are amazing. So flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be coming back to try everything else!

*this review is for a delivery order only - pad see ew Noodles and sauce flavor were okay. It's the dry beef and unfresh seafood I added that were awful. I ate one clam and could not touch the rest. They definitely do not properly store and throw out when bad the proteins.

Green curry with a bug.

I never review restaurants. But this is earned. The food was bland. I got the ginger chicken, spicy. My wife got the green chicken curry. Also ordered veggie rolls and pot stickers. The fried foods had a pancake batter flavor. My ginger chicken was made with very little ginger and wasn't spicy at all. And my wife's dish had a bug in it. Maybe our experience was a fluke. Buy and eat at your own risk.

It's my go-to take out place for Thai. The restaurant ambiance is pretty relaxed too. The crab rangoon and rama noodles are delicious!

Instantly one of my new favorite restaurants in Chicago. And probably one of my favorite Thai…read morerestaurants of all time. As a street food spot that's popular for lunch, you get different offerings here than a lot of your other neighborhood Thai joints. Sat on the outdoor patio so didn't get to see the inside much but I liked our atmosphere and service. Split the papaya salad and the Laab Moo Krob (crispy pork belly salad) with a friend and both were outstanding. From the first crispy bite of the pork belly I was in love with the texture and flavors. We added a side of sticky rice with that which was perfect. I wish I could've tried everything on the menu that day but looks like I'll just have to return as soon as possible.

I advise straying away from the noodle classics like Pad Thai or Pad See Ew and opt for a soup, chicken, or rice plates! Pretty small inside so you may have a bit of a wait but overall really quick service. Jina's Fried Chicken (E7): Thai southern style marinated leg quarter topped with fried onion and cilantro served with sweet and sour sauce and black sticky rice Braised Pork with rice (R5): Braised pork hog and ham in Thai and Chinese herb with hard-boiled egg, Shiitake mushroom and pickled mustard green served over Thai jasmine--rice with spicy-sour sauce on the side. Chicken with ginger rice (R4): Poached chicken served over ginger-garlic rice with soybean ginger sauce on the side. Pork Belly with Fish Sauce (SP6): Fried marinated pork belly cubes served with spicy dipping sauce

I found a hotel deal in the area and Thai Spoon caught my attention with their window menu and…read morereasonable price range and their cute decor. I came back the next day for a late lunch . I think I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time. The server was really nice and kept my water filled when I was thirsty from walking around all day. I was happy to see khao soi on the menu. I had been mixing it up with khao poun which is a different dish and doesn't have fried noodles. I like both. I was hungry and tucked in to soft noodles, crispy noodles, pickled mustard greens, onions, and in this case tofu. The server noticed my enthusiasm and said it would make him happy. I hope so, this was a lovely meal and a standout among all the chains and custom-bowl places. Would definitely return.

It's a few dollars less than the normal menu but a pretty good deal. My daughter and I ordered the pad see ew lunch, a regular Kara age chicken appetizer, and a taro boba. They also gave us a miso soup and two veggie egg rolls, unsure if that's part of the lunch special or not or standard for all done in customers, but it was a great addition! The food was delicious and made SUPER fast. I'd say we only waited about 5-7 minutes for everything. There is a lot of seating inside and the decor is really cool. The staff is really nice too!
