Chicken Lo Mein
Jennifer B.

I rarely crave Chinese food but I did tonight and it was a last minute thing on a snowy night. This place is literally 5 min from home. We ordered take out instead of dining in because the dining room is super small and not very inviting. Previous reviews go more in detail about this. The food is decent, for the most part: Chicken Lo Mein: ok but I prefer thinner noodles Sweet and Sour Chicken: I am still looking for the chicken under the fried batter Crab wontons: thanks for the cream cheese still looking for the crab Sesame chicken: just ok Chicken fried rice: ok Portions are pretty big, if you don't eat left overs (like us) plan on sharing.

Vegetable Fried Rice & Wonton Soup

We were greeted very casually and told sit anywhere we liked. The restaurant was very clean inside. The staff was friendly and our food was promptly delivered and served hot. The lunch special that I ordered came with soup so I chose Wonton soup. Egg Drop as well as Sweet and Sour Soups were also available on the lunch menu. For my entrée I chose the Kung Pao Triple. It was delivered hot in only a few minutes. The Kung Pao sauce was rich and savory and the beef and chicken were both tasty and tender. The shrimp was perfectly cook with no hint of being over cooked. I ordered a soda and it came in a can but an ice filled tumbler was provided also. The food was very good, the staff was very friendly and the dining room was clean. The only negative was the restroom being somewhat trashed with paper towels, but otherwise it too was clean. I recommend and will return to Tummy Top to eat again!

First time trying food here. We got takeout & It was ready quickly. The inside, though dead, was clean. We ordered... Pork Fried Rice: Tasted great. Not too dry, not too much oil. My Husband didn't like the bean sprouts in the rice but I didn't mind. Sweet & Sour Chicken: The taste was good. Chicken was moist and not dry which is a big plus. The chicken was so little though. Lots of tiny pieces. I wish the pieces were bigger for the price they charge. The sauce that came with it was good and tasted fresh. Crab Rangoon: They looked burnt! I was a little disappointed by the appearance. The flavor was good though. Although they were a little dark, I'd try them again. Egg Rolls: I thought the egg rolls were great. Cooked perfect and great flavor. Overall we were pleased. We will be back to try more.

They do have cool water glasses

The food here was just ok. I had the chicken with broccoli and it was a bit saucy for my taste. But the chicken seemed decent quality. While the restaurant was clean and pleasant-looking inside, they had the TV on really loud showing this Chinese variety show in Chinese, which was quite annoying (e.g. they had game show segments with "wacky" sound effects). Also, one of the employees was sitting at a both watching super loud videos on her phone. Guys, who are you trying to entertain here, the customers or yourselves?

Mai fun (veg) they don't add tofu

I was dealing with one of my rentals down the road and needed a quick bite. This Chinese to go/restaurant opened a month ago and is located in the Kroger plaza. We walked in with the plan to get a quick dish to go. No one sitting and eating at 7pm (not a good sign). Took a look at the menu and they don't offer many noodle dishes nor vegetarian. Prices are kind of high for the area. Seeing that China haven is in the next plaza over (next to movie studio grill) they are better as far as food and options, just no seating there. I ordered the meifun noodles (veg) and added the curry for $1. There was no tofu in the dish and even though there was a decent amount of noodles it was NOT worth the $11 dollars it cost. Just based on that order alone I probably won't be back. They need to get their prices in order if they plan on surviving here. I wish them good luck but in the meantime I will order to go from China Haven

Great food and service! I had heard a lot of good things about Hunan Garden and finally got around…read moreto trying it. We got the Beef Flat Rice Noodle, the Pork Chop Dry Pot, and the Mapo Tofu. My favorite was definitely the Pork Chop Dry Pot! The pork was tender, the dish was well seasoned, and it wasn't overly spicy even though it looks quite spicy. The noodles were solid, would definitely order again. The Mapo Tofu was a little lacking in flavor in my opinion, but still a decent dish. All dishes came out in fairly large portions! I really wish I lived closer so that I could come more often - finding good chinese food in ATL is a little tough, so I'm so glad to have tried Hunan Garden. Prices are also very reasonable! The service is good! Usually chinese restaurants don't have the greatest service, but they were good about refilling our waters and not rushing us once we were done with our food. The food also came out pretty quick! Highly recommend!

Tried all the popular dishes and some weren't bad, but nothing jumped out as being worth trying again. One positive was the portion sizes were quite large for the price and in general is something I miss about dining in Georgia, so you definitely won't go hungry. The service was pretty disappointing. I'm not expecting top-notch at small spots like this but felt the staff was actually rather rude as opposed to just being purely inattentive. Overall it was an ok experience but given the abundance of Chinese-based restaurants in the area, probably won't be back anytime soon.

J's Asian Cafe is a place you MUST TRY. From the taste of the food, the top tier service, to the…read moreoverall ambiance.. it's all 100! The interior offers beautiful artwork on the walls as you enter, and the interior seating is done in a lovely shade of sheer purple. Parking is shared with the other tenants in the shopping center, but plenty is available. The first time I ate here I started to eat as soon as my food was placed in front of me, that I forgot to take photos. Our waitress Pawnie is the BEST! She's helped us both times we've been in and even remembered what appetizer my husband and I said we wanted to try on our next visit. As soon as she recognized us tonight, she was already putting the order in so we wouldn't have to wait long. Like I said, wonderful service. This restaurant offers a vast variety of dinner options. If you're in the mood for sushi, opt for "dining in," as all rolls will then be 30% off! On this visit we ordered the Roti Canai appetizer (Indian Pancake served with Curry dipping sauce), two Picasso Rolls, and a side Hot and Sour Soup. Soup is always my favorite. I've now tried two from here, and both have been so flavorful and filling. The sushi rolls are all presented beautifully, and we have yet to order an appetizer that we don't plan to try again. 10/10!
