I had a really nice lunch this afternoon at The Asian Kitchen. There are many wonderful things to report about this little place, keeping in mind that this was my first and only visit. The restaurant has an intimate feel. Our waitress couldn't have been better. She was attentive, but gave us plenty of time to chat uninterrupted. The music was quiet enough that we could hear each other using our normal voices. The lighting was soft and not at all glaring. The parking was plentiful (Kroger is in the same parking lot). Their lunch special is very reasonable. I had the chicken kung pow with a delicious won ton soup and ice tea. The bill was about $15, so with a tip, lunch was still under $20. The waitress asked me what level of heat I wanted. I appreciate that because people often assume older people prefer very little heat and that is not true of me! The Kung Pow was delicious and plentiful. I could not eat it all. The vegetables were cooked "tender crisp" and the chicken was super tender. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. read more

I don't come here often as Asian is not on my list of top cuisines, but everytime I do the food comes out piping hot, ultra fresh, and service is amazing. they have an offordable lunch menu as well. The dining room is always quaint and clean. I'm losing a star though on the fact that they are blaming getting rid of alcoholic beverages on tariffs. This is the first I have ever heard of a restaraunt doing it, but if you are afraid of having to raise or change pricing the beverage menu can be seperate from the food menu. Or limit the number of imports you have on the menu. It would seem better to say "we can't sell Ichiban or Sopporro anymore because of tariffs" rather than saying "tariffs bad, alcohol bad". i would rather have the choice to pay a dollar or two more than not at all. read more

There is something seriously wrong with this place, they open when they feel like it. Went there today with a friend, the lights were on, the "Open" sign was lit,but the door was locked. Don't get me wrong, the food is exceptionally good but when you are so ignorant to ignore showing common courtesy to your customers then you deserve all the bad luck is sure to come your way! read more

Consistently tasty, healthy, and fresh! The food at Asian Kitchen is delicious and varied; we usually get it for takeout but I lunched-in with a few friends for last week; it was so comfortable and we were not rushed. Jenny is a kind and gracious hostess and her employees are friendly. Asian Kitchen is kind of tucked away, to the right of the Centennial Kroger in the same plaza. Easy parking. My wife and I have tried many Chinese Restaurants in Atlanta metro area over the years and tonight we decided to try Asian Kitchen at 2300 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. I had the chicken Pad Thai (all white meat) and my wife ordered the Kung Pao chicken (all white meat) w/fried rice. Both dishes were simply outstanding! Very fresh and very clean with amazing flavor, very little oil and no "after taste" Even if you don't live close to this location if you are looking for very fresh and clean Chinese Food with amazing flavor you should drive to try this restaurant. read more

It's sad that the place close between 2:30-5 pm and did not update on Yelp or their website. When we arrived at 5 pm, couple people were inside and saw us. But no one will open the door. I have had several lunches and evening meals here this year. Food and service are very good. It is small sized so if it's full they will not take your order until the small kitchen is available. At least that's what i think. I enjoyed everything but in particular the asparagus shrimp or chicken pleases everyone. It's been almost 2 years since I visited this place since I moved from Roswell. The owner instantly recognizes me and asked how I was. What's not to love? Phenomenal service, great food, great pricing. Ordered the lunch menu where you can choose between soup (hot & sour or egg drop) or salad and en entree. Thai Basil's is usually my go to and you have options between chicken, steak, shrimp. I've been here a number of times and enjoyed it! The food comes out fast, hot and delicious and the service is fast and friendly as well. I've ordered the Chicken Pad See Ew, Mongolian Steak, and Chicken Pad Thai. I definitely liked the Pad See Ew a bit better but it's personal preference. I always start with a small side salad with ginger dressing which is always tasty. I'd recommend this restaurant to someone looking for either Thai or Chinese food. They offer an outstanding lunch special including soup or salad, choice of rice and generous entree with choice of protein and style of cooking. You can also order from the regular menu for an even larger portion which never disappoints. I treasure my leftovers which are neatly packaged for me. The personalized and efficient service I've received is outstanding even above what I've experienced in five star restaurants. So, we did take out here. We called ahead with the order and once I got there. Only had to wait about four minutes for them to finish packing up the order. Seems like pretty solid service to me. When we got to the house and unpacked the food, everything was there, eating utensils, , napkins, soy sauce, fortune cookies, the works. The food was in good size proportions, and everything seemed like it was prepared fresh. Tasted really great, And it didn't taste like everything was cooked in the same pan which sometimes happens with asian foods. This is the definition of "Dont judge a book by its cover". Honestly ive driven past this restaurant multiple times but i decided to check it out one hungry afternoon and my stomach was indeed glad i did. I ordered from the lunch menu, because i said welp! If i dont like the food at least i didnt pay full price. The lunch hours are from 11am-3pm and the dishes range from $9-13. I ordered the Pad thai and the General tso's chicken. Both dishes were delicious and a good serving size for one person . I definitely would be ordering the same dishes from the regular menu to compare serving size. read more

I live pretty close by and come to this restaurant very often (mainly for takeout and occasionally dining in). The service is always great and fast. My favorite dishes are Pad See Ew (with tofu) and basil eggplant. Friday nights can be a little crowded so plan ahead. The inside is always neat and clean. read more
