First time at Yummy Yummy Asian Kitchen. The service was great and attentive. The atmosphere was a small family owned Chinese restaurant. There are about 8 tables. They do a lot of takeout. I had the Salmon Lovers meal. It came with miso soup and Ginger dressing solid. It was great! My partner got the Tempera Shrimp & Veggie appetizer which was like all of the meal fixed fresh. He then had a Spider Roll. We enjoyed the meal very much!!!!

So I honestly hate to do this because the servers were really very nice, but I have to be honest. Let me start off by saying that the service was excellent! Very friendly and professional and came to check on us multiple times. As for the food, I got a Tonkatsu Ramen and several sushi as well. See photos. The Ramen was pretty good, but honestly nothing to write home about. Sushi was fresh but unimpressive. Maybe I'm just spoiled coming from New York City. That's probably it. There's only one or two top sushi places here in the Fort Myers area that shall remain nameless as I won't promote them here. I really wanted to love this place based on the ratings, but I just think people in Florida are unexperienced when it comes to sushi and Ramen. Great for a quick lunch, but not a special dinner.

Disappointed Regulars: Great Food, Broken Seating System Rating: / 5 We've been to Yummy Yummy Asian Kitchen several times and love the food, but our experience tonight was a total mess. We waited 40 minutes for a table after being told to write our names on a blank sheet of paper. Right as a table opened up, a group of three walked in and were seated immediately. We were never told there was anyone ahead of us, and the seating felt completely disorganized. When we finally decided to leave, we were offered carry out instead--after already waiting nearly an hour to sit down! We weren't looking to wait even longer and then drive our dinner home; we just wanted the table we waited for. It's a shame because we enjoy the kitchen, but the front-of-house needs a much better system for their guests. We won't be rushing back. Review Update: Great Food, Hallucinated "Rude Behavior" We have been regulars here for a long time because the food is excellent, but the management of the floor has become a disaster. We arrived and saw a table clearing; a gentleman (who we later found out is named Bob) mentioned he was waiting for it, and we politely agreed and sat on the bench. We waited there for 40 minutes after writing our name on a blank scrap of paper. We were never told there were other parties ahead of us, yet a group of three was seated before us. When we were finally offered 'carry out' as a solution to their seating error, we decided to leave. The most unsettling part: The customer, Bob, who was seated when we arrived, tracked me down online to call me a liar and claim I was 'rude.' I'm not sure how sitting quietly on a bench for 40 minutes is rude, but it's clear this restaurant's disorganized system is creating a very toxic environment. We love the kitchen, but we won't be returning to a place where the 'seating system' is a scrap of paper and other customers feel entitled to harass you for sharing a valid complaint.

Tried this place after seeing good reviews! All of the tables were full when we arrived and it was pretty busy but the young kid taking our order was very nice and gave good suggestions when I asked him what sushi rolls he recommended! The seating area was small but cozy. I ended up getting the Fresh Philly Roll and Godzilla Roll and both were very good! My friend got the Godzilla Roll and the Maki Combo B which also came with soup and salad and she enjoyed everything! Prices were very reasonable, especially for the combo. Would definitely recommend!

The food here is absolutely amazing. The sushi is the best I've had in this area. The service is excellent. The owners are really nice although it's a small place it is very clean and has great ambiance. We have tried various sushi rolls in each time. They were all excellent.

What a great place with such a beautiful kind owner - she spelled her name 3 times for me and showed me her name on the receipt and yet I still forgot (Korine?) The steak hibachi bowl was delicious served with a tasty clear soup and simple salad w yum dressing I ordered the ramen noodle dish w pork - so delightful! Decent price for what you get! They even gave us these yummy donut desserts. Great place!!

Delicious lunch. It's a cozy family-owned restaurant. The boss lady is proud to share that the salmon lunch bento is sushi grade. I would suggest that the kitchen doesn't overcook the fish next time and serve it seared. There are bottled water, bottled soda and fun Asian drink options in the fridge. The spring roll is a little soggy. Other than that, all was delish.

Located in the Publix's strip, it's small but has a wide variety of Asian entrees including sushi, teriyaki and about 100 other things. My companion wanted gluten free and they were very accommodating. The value is very very good. read more

This family-owned restaurant is a gem. It's my new favorite for carry-out Asian food. I'm about as picky an eater as you could ever find, but the owners worked with me to make a healthy tofu-based hibachi bowl with sauces on the side. My wife had the shrimp hibachi bowl. Both were delicious. At least for us, the large size is enough for two meals, as long as we add a salad the second day. The owners and their son do whatever they can to ensure that you enjoy your meal, informing you that all ingredients are fresh. To start off, I normally never add reviews unless the service/food was really good. I must say they were phenomenal. The sushi was amazing and very fresh. The krab rangoons were fresh and also very good. The younger kid working came around several times to make sure we had everything we needed. I can't say anything bad at all. They even gave us a free dessert because they weren't able to make one of the rolls we ordered after we finished the first round, because the chef had to run and get something from the store. Absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely amazing fine! Do not hesitate to come here if you are in the mood for some delicious Asian food. Not only is the food incredible and delicious, the service was absolutely stupendous and they are probably the most friendly restaurant owners i have met. But seriously, especially for the food, it is some of the most delicious food that I've had in a good time. Nutritious in just incredibly flavorful, especially with their yummy yummy sauce. When I saw this place was rated 5 stars, I thought there was nooo way it could live up to the hype. But it does! Everything I had was delicious and a step above places with similar prices. I've ordered clear soup and baby octopus from many other places, but never have I gotta octopus so tender and the soup just right. And the plating was so pretty! The absolute nicest family we've ever met! We were greeted so warmly by their son who happily explained the menu. Corina (spelling) was the kindest woman who brought our food and made sure everything was perfect. We didn't catch the husband's name but he was equally fantastic! Now onto the food! Every last bite was delicious!! We had the egg rolls, hibachi, soba and udon noodles! We loved the homemade hot chili sauce! And the ginger dressing on the salad was great too!! Oh and then they surprised us with piping hot sugar donuts! They melted in your mouth and it was hard to stop eating them. We wish we lived here so we could go often. Amazing family owned restaurant! Karena, her husband and their son Cowen were so warm and welcoming and treated us like their own family! We had egg rolls, Gyoza hibachi chicken, hibachi steak, Udon noodles and shrimp Soba noodle stir fry. Everything was delicious and such high quality! The dumpling sauce was very good. Tonight was our 7th takeout order from Yummy. Soft shell crab appetizer was fried to perfection. Salmon lovers special melted in your mouth. Tom Yum soup with extra added shrimp was beyond belief. Full of vegetables and flavorful. The restaurant was crowded when I picked up our food. I am so happy that this hard working family is succeeding in their business. Was craving sushi and saw the great reviews for Yummy - they were spot on ! We were greeted by the owners son who helped with any questions we had . Ordered a sushi combo and chicken buns to go . Every piece of fish was fresh and tasty - tuna , salmon , yellowtail , shrimp and red snapper - good size pieces . We had a tuna roll and California roll which we both outstanding . My wife raved about the chicken buns . To our surprise - a salad and miso soup were in the bag when we arrived home to eat our dinner . We will definitely be back - highly recommend! read more

We ordered take out tonight and everything was delicious. The food was flavorful and prepared to perfection. The prices were so reasonable that we were expecting sub par food. The quality was anything but sub par. We tried the crab Rangoon (amazing), Goyza (delicious), tuna tataki (yum), ginger salad (great dressing), shrimp teriyaki (better than daruma) and the Estero roll (the best). I always start with a very small salad and the feijoada, a fancy name for beans, rice, and ribs. Tonight we were served tri-tip, rib-eye, sirloin, and lamb. Small bites add up until you have to stop. Because it was New Year's Eve, they also added a dessert table. I don't get dessert that often, but the flan here is top-notch. All the food servers were dressed in gaucho pants, boots, and shirts, adding to the experience. The ambiance is in theme with the food.

We were in town from Nebraska and this was our 8th dinner throughout the area. Our family of six, ages 3-47, all agreed the food was delicious and the best we've had in town so far.
