This review is for the semi-permanent eyelash extensions. I thought that it was a good deal to get eyelash extensions for $40 but realized after the fact why it was so cheap. They did a terrible job and the eyelashes did not look natural at all even though the lady insisted that they did. In addition, during the process my eyes were burning because she was using so much glue. When I called the next day to schedule to have it removed, the lady said that they were going to charge me $25 even though they had specifically told me if I had any issues they would take care of if I came back within the next 2 days. After that they would charge me. Take home point. Do not come here. read more

They're great, Joanna the receptionist is great, she's really funny which is a good think for when it's busy, but it's usually for nice and calm in there, so you can just go in and get what you need fast and get out. I was in desperate need of getting my eyebrows done, but had no idea where to go. I found a deal on GroupOn for a $3 eyebrow threading for Yuva. I had never had my eyebrows threaded so I was pretty excited and nervous at the same time. When I got there, I was kindly greeted by Chamila and was seated right away. The threading was quick and relatively pain free considering I hadn't gotten them done in over a month. Afterwards, she put a soothing cream/gel on my eyebrows and the skin surrounding them. I've been here before but I must say that this was my best visit thus far!! I had a facial with Chamila and it was soooo good! She explained every step she was taking, gave recommendations that were not necessarily sale pitches (natural items that you buy elsewhere), and she took her time!! She gave me a great face, neck, arms, and back massage! That alone is worth a trip!! I walked into this salon and no one even greeted me so I signed in and had a seat. The employees helped 3 other girls that came in after me on the sign in sheet. I recommend buying their threading special packs. The 5 eyebrows visits were very helpful, but unfortunately they lost me as a customer. It has happen at least twice that I decided to go and they weren't ready for service even though they are "open". I kid you not i live less than 5 min away and left my home and exactly 10 am I arrived and they WEREN'T ready to help me. I have been going to Yuva for about 4 years. I'm take pride in my eyebrows and only want them to be threaded by the best, and Tej really does the trick. I have also gone to some of the other women at Yuva and they are all excellent, but I would especially recommend Tej. She shaped my eyebrows very well and cut them perfectly. This salon is my go-to during the weekday since its a few miles from work. I appreciate the cleanliness, friendly staff (they remember me now!) and quality work. Just today, I did the full face threading and the technician did an excellent job, making sure to take her time, including checking in on my pain level. The manager was also present and made sure to keep me updated on their specials - super nice! The prices are also affordable. I decided to give them a second chance. Girl did a good job on the eyebrows however I was over charged for the packages I bought. After several calls and few weeks later I got some of my money back.
