The lady I got was really rough! I'm gonna rate the service and the quality of my eyebrows separately Quality of eyebrows: definitely not ziba quality. they messes them up! -I have a little tiny bald spot on on my eyebrow. Its near the beginning of my eyebrows so I usually just fill it in. This lady ended taking out a big chunk of the beginning of my eyebrows, so my eyebrow started from where my little ll bald spot is. - I should of mention her not to do that, but I have never had to mention it, so now one eyebrow looks longer that the other -its been a week and I already need to get them done again they just look sooo uneven Service: like i said this lady was rough. and was rushing me when i was looking in the mirror to see the finishing product. read more

Update Dec '13: It's been 2.5 months since my last visit. I went back in this afternoon & asked for Susan. Again I am over the moon with the quality of my eyebrow threading. Thick just like I wanted going along my natural arch. They look marvelous now that my eyebrows have grown back in. Perfect! From Oct '13: Susan was great. I explained that I had gotten a little pluck happy this summer & was growing my brows back out to be a little thicker. She was an active listener. She offered to just clean a little before doing the reshaping. They look great, as great as they can while being grown out of course. She gave me a little massage afterward. Facilities are clean. Although it's a small shop, I didn't have a wait. All the ladies were nice & greeted me upon arrival. They have a special 5 visits for $30. Not bad, but my groupon was cheaper. ;) read more

Can I give a zero to this store. I came here on Sunday and there was one girl who seemed like she was doing threading for the first time. I cannot believe she was being hired to do the services in which she was totally untrained for. She charged me $8 + $1 for service fee. First let me say, I loved the inside of this place, very clean and good look. I bought a groupon for brazilian wax and was very scared (was my 1st time). Front guy in charge was very short with me and not that friendly. I didnt wait long until I was helped. Susan did my wax and I had a great experience. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease that with all the moving around I did she worked with it. I personally was in pain because it was my first time, although she recommened the chocolate wax in which I upgraded to for less pain. Overall happy with what I went there for! Susan is amazing!! I gave this four stars mainly because the one thing that bothered me was the front staff..could be nicer and with the groupon they atomactially take 10 dollars for tip which I didnt know of. I went for a Brazil wax first time it was done correctly after they push to buy a package when i went back second time it was done wrong lady that had help me is was very old and basically I had to tell her where to wax it was very disappointing didn't tip so I went for my third time the same old lady she was fucken mad, worse of the worse she pull the wax wrong direction it was very painful not only that it left my pubic area very swollen for day didn't even back my back or anything correctly. Yuva Salon is the only place I go to get my eyebrows threaded. The prices are reasonable and it is very rare that they ever make you wait. They offer a wide variety of services including facials and waxing. They also have great discount deals that they advise their customers to take advantage of. I get my eyebrows threaded by Chamila and she gets them perfect every time! My eyebrows are somewhat uneven and can be hard to shape, but she does in with precision and clearly knows what she is doing. She is also very friendly and nice. I went in to get permanent eyelash extensions and my experience was terrible !! While applying the lashes the lady didn't allow me to close my eyes (like you're supposed to) so the glue and fumes were burning my eyes the entire time. When the eyelashes were on they didn't even look natural. They looked horrible and only lasted for a week. My friend also had her eyelashes done & she had the same results. When it was time for my eyelashes to get removed I went back, and when I left almost all of my natural lashes were gone with the extensions. My friend on the other hand went to a professional lash place to get hers removed. They told her whoever put on her lashes put on the wrong lashes with the wrong glue and almost ruined her natural lashes. DO NOT GO HERE FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS! Do NOT get your lashes from this place ! They are hard and crunchy and fall off the same day because they use cheap glue , not to mention they do not even place under eye care when placing the lashes on to protect your eyes . I am a licensed professional, and one day out of convenience I decided to try them out . As mentioned above I was surprised at the procedure of how they place the lashes directly onto your eyes without lying you flat , or placing eye padding for the bottom lashes . Upon completion , I looked in the mirror and although I do like a fuller look , the lashes looked hard, felt hard , and like a big black blob on my eyes . Within moments of getting home the right side of my eye had started to fall off as they were all clumped together and I was left with a big bald spot . The next day I called and asked to speak with the manager mike and explained this story . He told me to come in and they would do a " touch up" . I expressed to Mike that I was NOT interested in their services and wanted my $45.00 credited to my account for obvious reasons. Mike proceeded to say that they do not do refunds and only offer credits towards other services . Again, I told Mike , I would NOT be returning for any of their services due to my experience . Mike then said he needed to speak to the Owner and would call me back . As I write this review , to this day still have NOT received a return call , or credit from Mike , and I have left multiple messages for him. Now I will proceed with filling a complaint against the company with the BBB and the licensing procedures they administrate at their facilities .
