They offer a great sushi service, high quality and very fresh. Service was attentive. We went right around opening hour and they filled up fast. Seats on the patio were comfortable and allowed you to enjoy your meal with some people watching. I would highly recommend the sashimi and snow crab handroll.

I have heard many great things about this place and finally got to try it when our friends took us out to celebrate. We had reservations at 5pm on a Saturday and it was not too busy, but started picking up later into the evening. Place was not too loud, just enough to hear conversation within your table. Service was great, and they got their food out pretty fast. The food itself was the best part. Was not able to take pictures of all the food we tried but the sashimi definitely stood out. Everything tasted super fresh. Definitely enjoyed out time and would come again. Thank you

If you come for one thing.. make it the A5 Wagyu Nigiri.. by far the highlight of our meal. We came on a Sunday early dinner. Although we made reservations, there seemed to be plenty of walk ins as it wasn't peak dinner yet. This small yet cozy restaurant is so chic, so upscale and literally blew me away with the freshness of each plate we ordered. Crispy Calamari was not too salty which tends to be a miss for us at times but this was yum! The crispy rice/spicy toro was just the right amount of heat. The triple belly sashimi was so aesthetically pleasing and fresh with each bite. I loved the spicy mayo with the Laguna beach roll and the snowflake roll had a nice zest with the yuzu sauce on top. The golden eye snapper carpaccio was incredibly refreshing. We ended our meal with tempura ice cream and fresh fruit But when I come back, all I need is the carpaccio and the wagyu, like what an experience. Highly rec! Thank you to the staff who made our first time here so amazing! Can't wait to eat here again.

Cute spot with vegan options. Came here with a group and I'm glad they had vegan options on the menu. Everything we had was delicious. The staff was very friendly and they worked fast. It was pretty busy and everything came out very quickly. Short walk to the beach, would definitely would recommend!

Came here for a lil weekend getaway w/ my partner from LA. We both really enjoyed the sashimi, and the rolls are also superb. Everything is fresh, and the service was great. It was cute for a date but it is a little packed and tight. It's in a cute little neighborhood with other little shops and dessert options. So very cute date spot for sure.

I love going to Yuzu Sushi. It has become our go to spot for special occasions. The quality of the fish is always amazing and everything tastes so fresh. You can really tell there is a lot of attention to detail in both the flavor and presentation, which makes the whole experience feel a little more elevated. It is definitely on the more expensive side, but it feels worth it for those moments when you want something a little nicer. Everything we have tried has been consistently good, and it is one of those places that feels reliable when you want a great meal. Overall it is one of our favorite spots for celebrations or date nights. Always a treat and something we look forward to.

I am so picky about sushi, but this place hits all the marks. The sushi rice is the perfect temperature. The seaweed on the hand roll is light and crispy. We sat at the bar. The server was really attentive and thorough. We got some mixed nigiri, and it was fabulous. Great cuts. Great flavor. I also got a California hand-roll, which I always get at least one hand-roll when I go out. I find it always tells you the quality of the place. We also got the miso black cod, and it was everything you could ever want. Buttery, flaky and a tiny bit sweet. The inside is beautiful. Great for a date night. The lighting and color is really nice. They have nice heated patio seating. I suggest making a reservation. It can get busy. Parking is all city lot is metered parking. I will definitely be back! This is a gem.

Another fantastic family dinner at Yuzu! This was our second time visiting, and the restaurant continues to impress on all fronts. The Ambiance & Service: The interior has a beautifully warm, comfortable lighting layout, but the team greeted us warmly and sat us outside. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The Starters: You absolutely have to try the Yuzu Nachos. I was blown away by how tasty they were, they deliver a great spicy kick with a subtle hint of sweetness. The Entrées: The Sashimi Salad was beautifully presented, crisp, and incredibly fresh. My son is an extremely picky eater, but he loved the Chicken Teriyaki so much that he ate the entire dish. The Sushi: The signature rolls did not disappoint; they were exceptionally fresh and savory.Great service, fresh food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Spotted this place while walking around Laguna Beach. Highly recommend coming here if you like sushi !! The service was very good and the food was so delicious !! We ordered the baked salmon roll, crunch roll, and starter was spicy edamame. The edamame was so delicious!!!!! It wasn't crowed either and we sat at the sushi bar and it was such a vibe!! I will say we did have to wait about 30-40 minutes so I would reserve table ahead of time. But this spot was 10/10!! Highly recommend!!!

Well, there is a good reason why this little sushi restaurant has five stars because it deserves it honestly. The service is immaculate. Our waitress, May was absolutely fantastic. She made us feel like we were the only people dining in the restaurant last night. Really fantastic service. We had our choice of inside dining at a table or their beautiful patio dining with heaters . We decided to sit at the sushi bar. The lighting is perfect. The music was on point. It was warm. It was cozy. They've got a great wine list in addition to their sakes, we enjoyed so many fresh pieces of fish. We cannot wait to come back. My favorite was their signature Yuzu roll and the beauty roll. So delicious so so delicious

My new favorite sushi spot in Laguna. Everything we had was exceptional. The Monster Nigiri was my personal favorite. Our server John was great and gave us some solid recommendations. We sat outside which was nice and there is a cool bar inside. Would definitely recommend.

It was my first time here and it was great. Our waiter was Luke, very attentive and friendly. We followed everything he suggested and so glad we listened to him because we loved all his options. Their green tea with mango drink (non-alcoholic) .was sooooo good. For food, we started with the Spicy tuna on crispy rice as our appetizer. The other entrées were amazing, especially the Millionaire (omg, my favorite), Yuzu sushi, Monster (also my favorite) and Laguna Beach. The Laguna beach was ranked as my least favorite, but that's only in comparison to the other dishes we had. Finished our dinner with the green tea ice cream (also good with a nice presentation). Overall, the experience with the food, service and ambience made it well worth to come back... hopefully soon.

This is a very cute and cozy sushi place with outdoor sitting. We were there for a late lunch on Sunday and it was not too busy so we had a great service. As for the sushi quality and freshness it is one of the best places I've been too. Just a bit pricy but it is not too pricy for Laguna beach. Highly recommend it.

A quick tip before you go: parking is either available on the street (if you're lucky enough to find a spot) or through valet for $15. The restaurant is located inside the hotel, and once you enter you'll take the elevator down to Level 1, where you'll be greeted with beautiful ocean views. We had a reservation and were seated very quickly. While we waited for our table to be cleared, Ava, our host, was so sweet and personable. She took the time to chat with us, shared some of her favorite menu recommendations, and when she noticed us unsuccessfully trying to take a selfie overlooking the water, she kindly offered to take a photo for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel welcome. Throughout dinner, Jesse was assisting our table, and he was fantastic. He always seemed to appear at just the right time without ever feeling intrusive. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the evening. Our main server, Carson, was equally amazing. He was welcoming from the moment we sat down, incredibly attentive, and you could tell he genuinely cared about providing a great dining experience. His recommendations were spot on, he checked in on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever rushing us. The food was excellent. I absolutely loved the burrata salad, and my husband ordered the lobster bisque. At first, he thought the portion might be on the smaller side, but between the bisque and the bread, he ended up completely satisfied. Speaking of the bread--don't skip it! The butter, made with grass-fed cream, was absolutely incredible and made the appetizer even more memorable. Overall, Splashes exceeded our expectations. From the warm hospitality to the attentive service and delicious food, every part of the experience was exceptional. It truly deserves all of its five-star reviews. A huge thank you to Carson, Jesse, and Ava for making our evening so memorable. No notes, just a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

We got seated at our table at our table around 4:30p and had the most perfect view of the ocean! *we went on a Friday night and noticed the patio cleared out about 4:45-5pm and I didn't appear to have a lot of people waiting during that time. The main patio was covered with umbrellas, so once you are seated for dinner, there was plenty of umbrellas for shade and heaters for when it got a little cooler. For our food orders, and as recommended by our server, we went with their seafood options and ordered their Pacific Ceviche for an appetizer and for Entrees my husband got the Roasted Halibut and me and my mother-in-law both got the Scallop and Shrimp pasta. We all loved our dishes and were very satisfied with our choices. Their menu does have non-seafood options, but why not to try what they're most prominent for? They don't have a dessert menu, but they heard that we were celebrating mom's birthday so they brought us a little Toffee Cake to share and enjoy...and for a place that doesn't have dessert, the cake was pretty delicious. Such a cute place all around. My husband and I can't wait to go back! I ordered the scallop and shrimp pasta, and on my very first bite of the scallop, it had a strong ammonia taste--a common sign that seafood has gone bad. After that, I completely lost my appetite and couldn't eat the rest of my meal. My daughter ordered the cioppino, and after checking the seafood in her dish, we noticed the scallop was also very rubbery and didn't seem fresh either. Fresh seafood is something restaurants should never compromise on. Based on this experience, I can't recommend eating here and would suggest trying another restaurant instead.

The owner served us initially, and he was really friendly and funny. We ordered a bottle of wine, and some cocktails. We put in some salads and an appetizer, they were really really good. But after that, our server (the owner we were told) left, and another server introduced himself. The new server was inattentive. He sat chatting with the other servers at the bar, leaving empty glasses and empty plates on the table. We had to flag him to come back to fill water. Having been myself in the service industry for years, my biggest pet peeve is when servers sit and chat where you can see them, and when they do come, they don't do a sweep and take care of things on the table. We had to put our empty glasses and trash on a side table. It was weird. The bolognese had hardly any meat in it. It was mostly tomato and onion. I've been to Argentina. Meat is a staple. Also weird. We ordered dessert and after waiting for 5-10 minutes, the server came back and told us they were missing crucial ingredients to make it. The owner came back at the end and was really gracious, but all in all, I think the execution was lacking. The service was not great. The food was 3.5/5 I love to support small business, perhaps we will try again another night.

Good assortment and size of the dish. Shrimp was ok, I felt it was missing something, octopus was good, my personal favorite was the marinaded tuna. 8/10 seafood chile relleno, not a bad assortment, sides were good, large portions of food. 10/10 Coco rita, this margarita is definitely something different!
