I had a fun experience overall with my group when I rented a private karaoke room. The room was clean, available, and the ambience was good. However, there were some cons: On their website, it said booking can be done through DM on Instagram, however, I messaged them that night and they still haven't responded (5 days later). Reading through the comments on their IG posts, it looks like many people who DM them aren't getting answered. Because of this, booking is really only available through calling, and it took me about 20 minutes to find their phone number on their website. You have to tap on the side-bar menu, then tab on the widget "Reserve via Call" in order for the number to appear. It seems they were professional and upfront about room rates when I called them, and the room was available when I arrived. The room was not set up yet when I had arrived for my reservation, so it took some five minutes for them to set up before we could go in. After a brief explanation of how to use the search feature on the karaoke machine, I understood how to do it as it was the same as other Asian karaoke private rooms I have been to. The rest of my group frequently had trouble with it, but I was able to help them. They provided a pitcher of water with a stack of cups in the room so that we could serve ourselves. However, with a 10-person room, we quickly had to get refills of the pitcher and I had to go outside to the main area every time to ask for refills. As far as ordering food went, we also had to leave the private room to order at the bar in the main area. I wanted to make the most of the time I paid for to spend with my group as we were singing in the private room, so I did not want to keep going outside every time we wanted to order food or drinks. We had to go outside to order even for the first order. It would have been great if there was a way to place an order electronically from inside of the room, since there was a QR code to scan on the table which brought up a picture of the menu. One of the 2 microphones would turn off quickly after turning on, and by checking the interface on the mic, I figured out that it was out of battery. I stepped out of the room to ask for a battery replacement. Even though I was supposed to be just enjoying myself with the others, I felt almost as if I was working there. Most of the time I was pouring water into cups for my friends, going outside to ask for refills, to order food, and to ask for batteries. I got up several times to help everyone use the search feature on the karaoke machine, as I wanted us to be able to find and queue songs efficiently. I will say that every time I went outside to the main room, they were able to respond quickly to the requests, but it was a bit time-consuming to have to leave the room so often for requests as we only had the room for 2 hours. The food we got was shareable and had good flavors but the portions were small. The ambience of the room was great and very clean. At checkout, they included an 18% Service Charge on the receipt, which now I find odd since the service could have been a lot better. I may go again for the ambience and fun atmosphere, and the issues I faced can be easily fixed in my opinion. read more

Only reason I'm giving them a 1 is because we had a good time with our group. But we reserved a 2 hour room for karaoke, came out multiple times during those 2 hours to get more drinks, etc. and were told we were fine because no one else had the room next. When we finally left they said they were charging us for 3.5 hours because they have to charge by the hour, after they told us we could stay with no extra charge. Then all 3 workers were extremely rude when we tried to explain our situation and said they never said that (they did), and refused to give us our card until we paid the full price. Song selection is also horrible, you have to use YouTube for almost everything and their mics die all the time. Would not recommend at all. read more

Holy $hit does this place have some audacity. They charge $9 dollars for 3 Costco spring rolls that are labeled as egg rolls on the menu. On top of that the drinks are Wildly overpriced and have some of the worst pours I have seen in my life. They have have what looks like a ton of minors drinking there too. Arrived with a party of seven on a Friday night. I was really lucky to get a room as usually Fridays get very busy. The service was really good, and the service button near the karaoke song selection machine was convenient to use. Song selection seemed more catered to Mainland Chinese than it did westerner music, but everyone seemed to have a good time. My friends and I went to YZ Karaoke Cafe for celebrating Father's Day. We stayed in one room where was nice and clean and the sound system was wonderful which made us all singing like a star singer We also drank beers and order some food which were so delicious. I've had a lot of ups-and-downs with YZ. Sometimes, the service was incredibly slow, and the machine was difficult to use. But they have both the Chinese and Korean karaoke systems and various room sizes. It's good for parties and decently priced. The food and drinks are pretty good as well! My friends and I normally get the yogurt soju and popcorn chicken and it's very easy to share. Overall, I think it's one of the best karaoke places in the valley for it's price point. read more

The security guard that sits and checks ID's at the door named MOSES, PEPPER SPRAYED my sister two separate times on 8/31/24. I am beyond MAD, SAD AND INFURIATED!! I invited her to come join me and another little sister of mine after she finished work. Moses believed my sister was using MY ID. She is 25 years old! WE SHOWED HIM OUR ID'S and he was extremely disrespectful and embarrassed that he was wrong. My sister exchanged words with him and he pulled out his pepper spray and SPRAYED HER!! I could not believe it!! I ran to the bar to get the manager and they were confused and just rushed to close my tab... I was closing out and then I could hear my sisters screaming!! The security guard pepper sprayed my sister again! People were running out of the bar! One lady was allergic to pepper spray. I was in shock. As an older sister I felt so helpless against this man. My sister took out her phone to record it all thankfully before he sprayed her for the second time. To have some kind of protection I guess but he STILL followed her outside and sprayed her entire left side LESS THAN 3 FT AWAY FROM HER. My sister was in EXCRUCIATING PAIN, obviously. The manager guided all of us to the restroom and we spent the next hour rinsing out her eyes. I was in tears, my nose was running and it was hard to breathe. I was not sure if we'd have to call an ambulance. There was a PA that came in to help us thankfully. She helped my sister dilute her eyes. We were so stressed and just could not believe what happened. The manager came to tell us she will refund our $60 tab. This man has to take responsibility for what he has done. Best karaoke place in AZ. Good food, good people, good selection of music. The owners Justin and Pheobe know how to take care of their customers. I've been here for a lot of their K-POP and live DJ events. Always good vibes and funny attendees. I find it easy to make friend here compared to other nightlife venues. As for karaoking, good selection of music is available. A lot of the other places are limited in songs, and honestly it's a let down especially when you been practicing at home (lol). They've got the mandarin and the Korean karaoke system so that opens up the variety even more. The pricing for their drinks, food, karaoke sessions, and events are reasonable. Went here for my birthday last night and it was so much fun! Everything was clean and staff was very informative, attentive, and personable. Booking the room was pretty easy, I dm'd them on instagram and as long as you dm while they're open they get to you pretty fast which is awesome considering I had to make a few changes to my reservation. The karaoke machine is not super user friendly, but like I said staff was super helpful, and it did not stop us from having the best time ever. This place is gross. Dingy dirty karaoke bar trying to stay afloat. Their food keeps getting worse every time I go. The owner let a bunch of teenagers run the place and now it has gone to garbage. The menu is smaller as well. The girl with the black short hair is the worst. She's a bartender and she has her friends come in and sit at the bar and look at people and whisper. Super awkward. We made a reservation by messaging them on Instagram a few days in advance. On the day of, we were able to get a hold of someone on the phone to let them know we'd be running late. The karaoke bar is located next to the closed down Fiesta Mall, so it's in a quieter part of Mesa. Regardless, our group had a great time! The rooms are spacious and nicely designed. I came here to celebrate my bf's birthday. We got a private room which was very clean! The rooms are sound proof, nice and cool and you can control the lights, there's also two big tvs that played the Karaoke videos.The waiters came in regularly to check on us. They were really nice and quick with orders! It's a bit pricey but we came with money to spend so honestly not a problem, just be prepared. Wanted to look for a safe place to have fun with friends during COVID, and we couldn't be happier with our experience here. I like the karaoke here since the rooms all have different themes like space station, Japanese tea ceremony, 1960 rock style, and a plain huge karaoke room. And classy murals of naked women room lol. Can't forget that. And besides the rooms, at the front of the restaurant is an area for dancing and a DJ booth. There are also tables for drinks and food. You'll get a variety of alcohol including a lot of Korean alcohol to choose, and the food is a variety of Asian food. Look for special events too! I walked in there with my friend to check out the karaoke bar. When we walked in, we saw two couples spaced out dining in & we were waiting to be seated. A lady came over and we asked for a table for two and she said "we don't have a booth for two right now but you can wait outside." My friend and I were very confused after she walked away because there were plenty of booths open so we waited outside and watched many groups walk in and waited outside for 30 minutes with no response.
