There are also lots of other interesting things in the store as well. Though I wouldn't shop here if it weren't for the supplies I need as a Chinese medicine student. They also won't sell needles to the general public, which I like. You can, however, buy whatever herbs you like, but you should always have either Chinese medicine training or have a prescription from someone who does, because otherwise you won't know what you're doing. You can't just pick an herbal formula labeled simply for "stress" like you can in Western medicine. It doesn't work like that. I've never received any treatments from interns so I can't vouch for that, but I hear they're awesome. Their staff is very friendly and know me and my friends by name because we frequent there so much. :o) Plus! Every day they have a deal going on. I know Monday their herbs are 10-15% off, but I can't remember what the other days are.

I got some really cool stone carved elephants on the cheap, and a neat wood happy Buddha. They have some good flavors of Dagoba bars that I can't find elsewhere (chai) and sometimes some cool zenish clothes. I also like the one on Anderson for post Korea-house sushi shopping. I know they have all kinds of herbal medicine but I have not delved as of yet.

The atmosphere is far more comfortable than clinical, and Sara is a wonderful administrative coordinator. I've undergone both an ankle/heel surgery and bicep tendon rupture repair, and rather than the standard "pop pills and wait it out" path, I've done herbal remedies, body detoxification and multiple treatments on both fronts. My injuries have shown major progress and I have seen incredible success without having to dope up or endure the same levels of consistent pain and immobillity. My PT and doctor both feel this line of treatment is doing wonders; couple it with the stress relief and body cleansing that I enjoy, this is easily one of the best damn things I can do for myself. It works. IT WORKS. Please come see them and find out for yourself, y'all.

We offer acupuncture, herbal medicine, tuina (asian bodywork), cupping therapy, guasha, nutritional support, taichi and qigong. Though we treat a wide range of both acute and chronic conditions, our natural focus is on pain management, sports medicine/concussion, other neurological and auto-immune disease. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine has been around for thousands of years and is a very successful system of medicine. It focuses on restoring the body to its natural balance by resolving problems at their root cause. As we learn more about how it works, it becomes more obvious that acupuncture and Chinese medicine should play a vital role in maintaining one's health. It is an excellent therapy which works well in conjunction with other forms of medicine.
