Really cute coffee cafe. Loved this place so much that we went twice during our weekend trip to Salt Lake City. I ordered an iced honey cinnamon latte along with this lemon, honey, sugar scone and my friend ordered like this scallion biscuit. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend this coffee shop.

Awesome neighborhood coffee spot. Really cool blend of south East Asian influence and classic coffee house. The scallion biscuit and pandan cake are great. Love their branding.

The service was super friendly, and my food and drink came out fairly quick. This was my first visit, and my food and drink were just okay, however I did not try coffee this time. The quality seems good, perhaps just not the style or flavors I prefer or am used to. The shop is cute and clean, and was quite busy on a Wednesday at 9am. Most of the seating was taken, but I was able to find a seat for myself at the large communal table in the middle. There is also some outdoor seating available. I would come back to try the coffee when I'm in the area. Spring Blossom Milk Tea with Jasmine Peak - 4/5 - A pretty good and light drink. The green tea and jasmine flavor weren't very strong, maybe a little watery, and it wasn't too sweet. I wish the flavors were a little more bold. 91 Gordon - 3/5 - The sandwich had very strong flavors that did not complement each other in my opinion. I think it was mainly the pickled jalapenos, which I usually like, that threw everything off. They were really sour and vinegary, that did not pair well with the peach sauce and cheese. The bacon was also quite sweet and didn't pair well with the other flavors. Maybe stick with their simpler sandwiches.

Great coffee, great matcha, delicious desserts, excellent service, and such friendly staff. The atmosphere is wonderful and the shop is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Went here finally! I went around 1pm on a Monday and it was PACKED. Everyone is there working, on calls, studying etc. it has a great vibe to it, lots of seating inside as well as a big outside area! However all of it was filled as well as people standing around. I got a dirty chai with the banana flavor. My friend got a lavender matcha. Both were great and very earthy flavors, not basic products. I could not really taste the banana in my drink since the chai had a lot of flavor to it. I would definitely come back and would love to be able to work here haha

Avocado toast (front) and salmon lox toast (back)

I've been here several times now and have had a great experience every time. There's always a little bit of a wait and it can be pretty difficult to find seating because of how busy it is, but imo their food and drinks are worth it! My bf and I went end of September and I had the avocado toast and he had a smoked salmon lox toast. His salmon lox was a little light on toppings, so I gave him some of my avocado, since my toast was generously covered! It ended up being a pretty good combo lol. I also had a specialty fall drink with fig jam on the rim and it was delicious. Apparently it was created by their very own barista! Although it's not on the menu anymore, I feel like any of their seasonal/specialty drinks are a pretty safe bet, and I hope they bring that drink back next year! Ambiance is clean, open, lots of natural light, and natural wood colors with some lovely plants for sale as well. Overall highly recommend a visit! Their outdoor patio is also always popping in the summer/fall lol.

Hojicha

Really cute inside and good amount of seating area inside and outside. Saw a lot of people doing homework. I tried their hojicha which was exciting since I never see it served at cafes. This hojicha was good. Nothing too crazy.

This is hands down the best coffee shop in SLC. From all the drink options, unique pastry case options and sitting indoors and the patio outside. Everyone is so nice and friendly, there is a reason this place is always bustling but it doesn't feel too crowd. Follow on IG so you know what is happening on the regular, every month they post what's going on in the month. They will sponsor fun runs to unique pop ups. Okay now to the food, made to order breakfast options and their fresh pastries are top notch. Their fresh spin on the banana bread and scallion scone, I could eat every day.

Hojicha Latte

Great place, must stop for coffee. This was my second stop of the day and I gotta say it's #1 in SLC so far. I got the iced Hojicha Latte with oat milk! It's very good, I highly recommend. Nice decor and staff helpful and friendly. Sat on the patio, perfect day for it.

I love the decor and atmosphere of this place. The wooden features, their own machines with their name brand and the outside patio to sit on. It's very dog friendly. I will say it can get a bit loud inside so it wouldn't be a great place to study, read or do work unless you have headphones or earplugs on. The coffee is also very good too. The latte selection is great and the chai latte is excellent. I had an espresso tonic that also was very good. It was an Asian centric espresso tonic with i believe yuzu or something with an Asian fruit accent. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable about their food and drinks. I would come back here to try their other items they offer.

Seasonal iced hojicha honey cinnamon latte topped with black sesame peak

Wow this place was poppin but I can totally see why! The place had a great selection of drinks and pastries as well as lots of cozy indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to catch up with a friend, read a book or grab your breakfast to go. I had the iced hojicha honey cinnamon latte topped with black sesame peak. It was really good but I did wish it was a little bit stronger hojicha taste to it. I did like that I was able to get all the flavors in every sip though. Pastry wise we had the scallion pancake biscuit which was moist and not too scallion-y, and the corn cookie (it was a bit too sweet) which reminded me a little bit of a sweet corn tamal. Staff is there to take your order and keep the line moving so it doesn't get too long. Would love to go back and try other drinks they offer and maybe grab another pastry to try.

Loki-ko
Brenda G.

The first thing I noticed coming into the cafe was how bright and full of light this cafe was. I ordered a Loki-lo which had an interesting mix of flavors. Somehow it tasted a bit too chocolatey for my preference but still delicious. I was taken aback because of the cashier. I approached friendly and she was friendly but kind of standoffish in her response. It made me not want to ask questions or make conversation. Service was quick even though there was a big line. Parking is located behind the cafe and in front but it's limited. There is also parking down the street which is where I parked.

Tomodachi pastries!
Lieu N.

Loki is such a cute place with lots of hosted events and food trucks! Went to a Minor Figures event with a friend and the Loki-Ko was so good, I had to come back and get it again! The Tomodachi pastries that they have are also amazing -- you'll have to come early or they may sell out! I've tried their Chai with vanilla, Loki-Ko and mini latte and all were great. Only thing is there aren't many places to sit and wood seating is a bit uncomfortable for long periods of time.

Coming from Los Angeles (a place where there is an abundance of amazing coffee), Publik is…read moreabsolutely a place worth visiting for dependable and quality coffee/ treats. This place has quickly become a staple every time I am in SLC and with a seasonal rotating menu, plus all the normal coffee shop classics, there's something for everyone. Matcha is great, chai is solid, coffee is great and they even have a decent selection of other teas. Don't even get me started on the assortment of breakfast foods and pastries (wonderful)! Their sourdough toast is a must and boasts an array of fresh toppings to choose from that anyone can find something they'll like. Price is average. Service is quick and friendly. Presentation is nice-enough (nothing to gawk at). There are minimal outlets but lots of seating indoor and outdoor, but there is seemingly always a line so that must mean the locals love it too. I'd come early! Oh! They also have a board full of community events and a local artist sticker machine which makes me excited every time I'm in town. For this visit, I got an iced oat banana matcha and a sourdough slice w ricotta and seasonal berries. The matcha was buttery and smooth, well mixed, and lightly sweet. You can definitely taste the banana but it is minimal, which I like. The toast came warm and soft and crispy in all the right places. Blackberries and blueberries were juicy and complimented the cheese/bread nicely. The honey added the softest sweetness, tying it all together.

This Publik location is seriously so stunning. Not only is it in an adorable neighborhood, The…read moreAvenues, but it also has a gorgeous interior. I love the big windows. Such a good spot to study/get some work done. They also have outdoor seating. My husband and I walked here for a coffee. The girl working was really nice. I got the banana brown sugar iced latter and my husband got the browned butter Carmel latte iced. The banana brown sugar wasn't quite as sweet as I wanted but still good. My husband thought it had a really strong banana flavor while I could hardly taste the banana at all. His was sweeter than mine so I liked that one a little more. Overall, I'd highly recommend this spot either to grab a coffee or to go hang. We didn't get good this time, but I'd like to try it since the menu looks amazing!!
