Typically I'm disappointed when I try new Ramen spots, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Z Ramen. It's a small, but cute restaurant tucked away in a corner of the large Palms at Town & Country shopping mall. Our waitress was attentive and efficient, inside was nicely decorated with beautiful Japanese style murals. The food was tasty, a little too much of the herb taste in the tonkotsu, but overall really good. We will definitely come back and try some other stuff on the menu. read more

Although the food has an aesthetic presentation and our server was very pleasant, unfortunately our food was inedible. This has nothing to do with our server or the service at all, my problem was the food. Aside from the edamame the octopus appetizer we ordered had a very strong un fresh fish smell and no taste whatsoever ever, very weird and bland but still not as offensive as the ramen my wife ordered. The broth smelled, the taste was off and we decided not to eat it, My pad Thai had a smoky taste to it as if over cooked all day but was well seasoned with lots of sauce. I ordered bao buns as a saving grace when I saw my wife had left the ramen aside after the first spoon. The bao bun dough was perfect but the pork inside; chewy, over cooked and bland. Stopped by for lunch and the service was prompt as there was a few tables already sat and busy for lunch, . I ordered some steamed pork Gyoza's, which were great as my appetizer and for my main meal, I went with the udon noodles and steak. Was happily surprised to find a ramen spot close to home. Parking galore and cozy inside. You can sit and grub and order and go. Seats are comfy and although space is limited your still comfortable. Menu sounds tasty and has a nice variety of ramen and noodle options along with shareables. I was in the mood for an appetizer and noodles.so I had the shrimp shumai which is steamed and bite sized. I enjoyed it with the hot chili sauce available on each table instead of the sauce it came with but that's just me. For my main I went with the spicy chicken udon noodles with veggies. It was tasty and filling but I had to add 2 spicy sauces as I noticed a hint of sweetness. But after adding the extra spiciness I was happy. This is the second time I come to this place and it was soooo good! The first time I came I had one of their signature ramen bowls and it was delicious. This time was another hit ! We started with edamame's and veggie spring rolls.. those rolls were so good I can literally have a plate of them and be satisfied. I had the pad Thai and added beef - it was finger licking the portion was fantastic I was able to take some home and my friend had their Korean rice bowl which look phenomenal. The only thing that was eh but may have just been a me thing was the passion green tea being too sweet but tbh add water and keep it moving because the food was fantastic. I've been her multiple times, and Z Ramen has become our go-to spot for ramen because it's super close to our house. The Tonkotsu ramen is our favorite, and we can't get enough of it. The place does get crowded, but it's a testament to how delicious their food is. What's also great is that they offer boba tea, which is a delightful addition to the meal. Was craving some Japanese food, especially the Tonkotsu Ramen ( had read and heard it was really good) Sakura Ramen favorite: creamy pork broth, bean sprout, hanjuku egg, scallion, bamboo, fish cake, and seaweed. Granted it was delicious but a little bit on the salty side though. Spring rolls were really tasty. and my son ordered Pork Bao Bun: Pork belly, cucumber, cilantro, and sweet hoisin sauce. These were really delicious then he had the Japanese rice bowl so the food is tasty but a bit too heavy on the salt, which is unfortunate( had a bit of a headache after) Not sure it's me, but I seem to find so many places these days that overdo the salt. I did really end up, loving their passionfruit tea with lychee Boba refreshing not too sweet. Service was good. Was in the mood for ramen all week and randomly found this place. WHEN DID THEY GET HERE?! Totally hit the spot. We ordered a chicken miso ramen and a tongkotsu ramen as sold. The size was a good portion. My togkotsu was creamy and flavorful. If you want to make it spicy there's chilli oil and Sriracha sauce on the tables (I'll be trying their spicy dishes next time for sure!). My boyfriend's miso ramen had wonderful flavor, perfect noodles and balance to it. The inside dinning area is a good size and can accommodate groups. The staff was friendly and went out of the way to accommodate us as we were a bit cold (thank you again!). Great parking as it's in the mall, so no hassles. Overall a great experience. First off WOW!!! This place is soo yummy! I can't express how good the spicy udon noodles were! They were a mix of spice and sweet! I ordered it with shrimp and it was just oozing flavor! The mixed cabbage on vegetables that's cooked in there gives it so much taste, I'm not sure what they cook the noodles in but it was just saturated with the delicious flavor! I would come here just for these noodles again! The Bao buns were incredibly delicious, the bao itself was perfect super fluffy and tasty, the pork inside was tender and very well marinated, only thing is i wish the pork was a bit crunchier but all and all DELISH! They have an array of noodles/ ramen to choose from with many different flavor variations. The service was also great! We had very speedy service with kind waiters! The menu offered a great selection of traditional and modern Japanese dishes. I went with the Tonkotsu Ramen and added pork to it. It is def one of the better Ramens I have ever tried. The noodles and pork were cooked to perfection. The depth of flavor was beyond tastiness, the homemade pork was super tender, juicy and tasted amazing! The nutella crepe cake was good but it was cold, i was not expecting it to be, i think would taste better hot but non the less was pretty good. Very similar menu to 107 taste which used to be my go to until their food declined in quality. The server recommended me the korean fried noodle when I came the first time and I've been ordering it since. It's so delicious and (usually) not too oily unlike other asian fusion places. the pad thai here is also very delicious. Glad I came here to check this place out. The Pork Bao Bun was good, meat was nice and tender. My sister ordered the Pad Thai noodle and said it was good. I ordered the Miso Ramen with chicken and the Japanese Rice bowl with shrimp. Miso was good and since I'm a slurpper of course I got some of that soup on my shirt.
