My service was with Savannah, a facial with dermaplaning, and it was great! A very relaxing experience I look forward to having again, definitely a 5-star. However, I would recommend that the spa room upstairs have a make-over. It sets the tone/mood prior to the service and it's not a relaxing atmosphere. It's noisy from the air circulation system for one, but the room itself looks thrown together & very dated. A complete re-do, new everything, that speaks "unwind and relax" is much needed. Adding a water feature (not a table-top) would help create that kind of atmosphere, and be a beautiful focal point. In addition, better fitting robes and spa shoes would be a plus. Don't mean to sound harsh but changes are needed, it's a big part of the spa experience so much that it takes away from the over-all experience. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Z salon with the Himalayan body treatment which was heavenly. Lena was very gentle and soothing. After the treatment I was able to use the spa amenities like the steam bath and sauna. Great experience overall, and I came away feeling relaxed and uplifted. read more

I want to take back my previous review the number on Google Maps for the salon is the one that closed in the highlands . I reached out to another number I seen online and the lady that returned my call was very apologetic and helpful . She stated they have tried to cancel that number numerous times it is still working . I was able to get an appointment. read more

I had an eyebrow wax with Savannah Evans. She is THE BEST and you all are truly lucky to have her working at The Z Salon. I consider myself lucky to know her. My daughter suggested that I start seeing her a couple (or longer) years ago. She has also done my make up 4-5 times in the past and I also got a facial with her in February, 2026. I always get the signature facial with derma planers on. Paula is hands down the best!!! She is so careful and attentive to making sure everything is perfect for the client. I had never had a facial. I wasn't aware that any exfoliating masks had to be added prior to the visit. I booked online... so by then it was too late. Savannah was great. I just didn't feel that the custom facial was worth $85 for what I received. I would have rather had a full body massage for the same fee. read more

They fit me in last minute for a facial after my appointment at Revive Spa was cancelled last minute. It was excellent! Lyenna was very slow and intentional in her movements which is what I needed at this point in my life. The amenities are awesome. You can Zelle if you don't want to pay the three percent charge for a card. The pricing is exceptional compared to all the med spas around.The only mishap is that there was hair in the shower stall and bathroom so that could have been cleaner but I'm still happy. read more

I visited Z Spa on May 1 for a hair color appointment, and unfortunately, I was not happy with the results once I saw my hair in natural light. I returned to the salon and asked if I could be scheduled with someone other than the stylist who originally did my color. A gentleman at the front door told me he would call me the following Tuesday to arrange an appointment with another color technician. As of May 13, I still have not received a phone call. This experience has been very disappointing, especially as a loyal customer of over 10 years. It also seems that Z Spa has been having difficulty retaining experienced color technicians, and the recent addition of a tipping option--one of the things that initially set your salon apart for me--has changed part of what kept me coming back. After this experience and the lack of follow-up, I have decided to cancel all of my future appointments and move to another salon. I wanted to share this feedback, as I believe long-term customers deserve better communication and service. read more

Vanessa was great as always. However, the salon allowed a group of young girls to be filming in the station right next to me. There were at least three to four girls standing in the aisle filming another girl getting her hair done with her stylist. They were continually moving about using multiple phones to film and a phone set up on a tripod. This added for some chaos next to me. I do come to z salon because it generally guarantees a nice relaxing moment getting my hair done. This was not the case yesterday. I'm very surprised that the salon would allow this. This should have been done after hours or in a more isolated area. Not right in the middle of the styling stations. This was a very disappointing appointment- other than my stylist Vanessa, who was always great as normal. read more

Jasmine is the best! I have been a color customer of hers for years and will continue to be for as long as she will have me. I am disappointed that Z has decided to go from a non-tipping salon as you have been since inception, to now a tipping salon as of 1/1/26. No notice was given to long time customers, and all that was needed was a simple email to inform. You can do better with communication. I also agree with other reviewers that charging 3% on credit cards is pretty tacky as most customers pay with a card. read more

I have been coming to Z salon on and off since it opened. While I'm not unhappy with my highlights, I feel like my colorist could have been more friendly. She didn't talk the whole time during my foils. I missed the email as well that they ask for tips at checkout now. Looks like it went to my spam/junk folder. It's been a great ride coming to Z all these years, but I'm going to continue to look elsewhere for color since the non tipping thing was their niche. The person who did my facial was very nice. I got the dermaplaning add on, but when I got home I felt like she missed a good amount of spots. The hand oil and hot mitt was very nice. The facial was a series of creams I could have bought myself and put on. I did not find the facial to be anything special I could not have done for myself. I was expecting a little more. read more

This was my second cut with Ava, and she had done a wonderful job the first time. My haircut is a pixie. She took her time with wet hair and did a careful job. This time, though, everything was different. She began with a razor and cut it dry, taking off 2+ inches, after we agreed on an inch. The result was a huge hole on the left corner of my head, which I cannot cover with any kind of combing. There are cut mark all over the rest of it and there is barely enough hair left on the back to hide my scalp lower down. I have no idea what she was thinking, but now I know why she never showed me the back before I left. I cannot even get a tiny curling iron around most of it. This will take months to repair and in the meantime, I walk around looking like I lost an argument with a weedeater. I won't be back. read more
