Its like I took a step back in time to a happy time in life and all it took was a chicken Shawarma wrap from Zabaadi The staff was very friendly and went as far as asking if I wanted to try some of their special hot sauce. My fiancee and I were in the area and decided to try this Mediterranean place. She ordered the chicken kebab bowl while I ordered the falafel bowl. She generally enjoyed her chicken kebab bowl, However, I found mine less than enjoyable. Both the hummus and falafels had little or no flavor in them, such as salt, lemon juice, and cumin. They were quite bland. The only thing which allowed me to enjoy my falafel bowl was their homemade hot sauce. But, I don't believe good food should have to rely on a condiment to be palatable. It's quite disappointing when restaurants skimp on spices and flavor. Instead, I would rather go to Pita Inn or Naf Naf for improved flavored hummus and falafels. Or, a step up from those two places are The Warbler or Cira. The staff were very polite and courteous. No issues there whatsoever. read more

Decided to try out the place because of a promotion with Xsport and has definitely become my new middle eastern place for getting bowls at. So far i've only tried the protein bowl (xsport promotion) and falafel which have been amazing. Meat is juicy and flavorful and pairs well with the tahini and hot sauce. The bowls on the menu look amazing as well and I'm definitely going to try them next time as they come with hummus, pickles, cabbage. The falafels were the perfect ratio of crispy and soft inside. I loved the chicken and the kefta. The hummus was also tasty. I also tried the lentil soup which was decent. Repeat customer here! The food is so good! The meat is moist and flavorful, and the veggies add a nice crispness and freshness. Also great for gluten free people! My mother has celiacs and cannot have gluten. Most of the menu is gluten free and it was nice that she didn't have to substitute or omit anything. Also a great place for kids! We have two little boys and there is plenty of space, they have high chairs, and the restaurant is clean. The service is great! They even gave us some extra warm falafel halfway through our meal. I get the Zabaadi Bowl which is a mix of chicken and steak shwarma with hummus, salad, cabbage and pickles on top of rice which is more than enough for a few days worth of lunches. The spices complement the protein in the dish and the light, creamy hummus is excellent. Two different sauces on the side and it's a perfect meal. Crunchy bite and soft fluffy inside, dip them in their hot sauce and this can definitely be my go-to snack. I recently ordered their mixed grill, rice, kefta, chicken shwarma (instead of the steak, subbed with no problem), chicken kabob, hummus, grilled onion and tomato and cucumber tomato salad. it was huge, definitely enough for 2 people.
