My wife was there with our two little children, trying to explain what I had been wearing, who I was with, and where we had been sitting. She was still ignored and received very little help from the staff. Eventually, I did get my phone back, and I'm thankful for that. But what bothers me is everything surrounding it. I tipped more than 20% that night. I always try to leave my table as clean as possible out of respect for the server and busser. I've been coming here for years. I genuinely love the food and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. I even have memories of getting ice cream with my son from the place next door, which I understand is under the same ownership. That's why this experience hurt more than it probably would have somewhere else. Maybe this was the actions of one server. Maybe there was a misunderstanding. I can't say for certain what every staff member knew. But from my wife's experience, no one seemed willing to help her, and the way the situation was handled felt dishonest, dismissive, and disrespectful. Something as simple as returning someone's lost phone should not have turned into this. I have a lot of good memories at Corrales, and I truly loved coming here. Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't see myself coming back. Thanks for the memories, Corrales. I sincerely wish this situation had been handled differently. BOYCOTT ZACATACOS!!! This place mistreats their workers and they refuse to take accountability. Management refuses to listen to any complaints and they act like the workers are in wrong for demanding their rights. Management has made it known that because restaurant has "money" they can do whatever they want to whomever. The employees are scared to speak out because they feel like they will lose their jobs and they have been threatened by upper mangement. We must take a stance and not allow this to continue happening. This restaurant has been engaging in verbal, emotional, and sexual abuse. Here are just a few of the concerns that the employees have reported: * cutting hours down as a way of punishment * threats to call ICE if employees don't comply * texts at all hours with threats if they don't respond * asking for ONE day off in advance and getting your whole schedule cleared for weeks * sexual advances from upper management *being over worked to the point of causing injury *no lunch or breaks *having to work without getting paid (the employees have to give their punch cards to upper management and they punch them out and the employees have to continue working. read more

The tacos are always on point but the menu selection has been decreasing more and more in this location. It's a small place with very limited parking. I usually just order for pick up since I'm close by. I love the steak and al pastor. I used to love the taco salad but they changed it up way too much and now it's just soggy and tasteless. I was leaning towards 4 stars but they changed for the worse over the few years I've been coming here. Stick with the tacos if you choose this place, you can't go wrong with that. read more
