Haven't been to this location in a couple months, but wanted to say how delicious their food was when I ordered it before. The outside and inside itself aren't super appealing by any means, but the food speaks for itself. I've had the burrito/tortas and was pleasantly surprised. Watch out with tus place the guy in charge or the owner he used gloves to charge to customers and we where there and he never remove them and he was touching food and go back and charge and open the fridge with he same gloves and go back and prepare the food over and over very upset after eating there read more

To be honest, I had my eye on another place that is near to Taco Taco and glad to end up here for our lunch. The interior is mediocre and there is one guy on the grill and one who packs and takes orders. Together they are a working trio as I can see that they are working in tandem to make sure all orders are prepared the right way. I walked in and order a few taco's and watched them make it. I noticed that the one person who managed the order and prep is consistent to when handling money that he washes his hand every time. HE was also very courteous when handling all the orders. The food was packed well and I was delicious. I was happy and will be ordering here again. Parking is limited in front but plenty nearby. read more

Terrible place I was there 10 mins before they closed. There were two guys one of the guys told the other one to locked the door and turn off the open sign. I knocked on the door and one of the guys ask the other guy if it was ok to let me in and the answer was no. I was a new customer to this place. If you want to close 10 mins or 5 mins early then change your hours accordingly. I am never coming back here again. read more

I have been going to this place for 25 years. Usually, I get the carne asada tacos, but sometimes the torta. I love the salsa, too. Overall, it's often the exact amount of food I need at the right price. My only problem with the place is that it closes at 9 on weekdays. If it could close at 10, I would go probably twice as much. read more

I ordered nacho's with Doritos and they were smothered in velveta cheese sauce and dried steak bits it was an unappetizing experience that I took a couple bites of and tossed. It shouldn't be a thing. I also ordered tacos and they were flat unseasoned the chicken has know flavor. I had to season it and add Cholula hot sauce to make it edible. read more

Hadn't been in here for probably twenty years, went in recently and it hasn't changed a bit. Nothing fancy inside, but the burritos are huge and delicious. Always stopped in here as a high school/college student, and the burritos taste just as good now. They're huge! Not sure if they still share a common owner with Ledo's across the street. Would give a 3.5 if I could. I Needed a snack badly so yelped and found this place. Glad I did. The tacos were pretty good. Only complaint is there wasn't the typical cilantro and onion on the tacos. They came with lettuce cheese and tomatoes. Got a side of guac which was a bit runny to me both otherwise good. Got poppers which were super hot and good. Everything is wrapped in tin foil that makes everything piping hot to the touch. It also comes with a side of carrots and peppers. Lastly got some horchata which could have used more cinnamon but otherwise it's cool and refreshing as always. The tamale was the final item ordered and there have been better tamales eaten unfortunately. Worth a stop. Way better than any of the fast food chains around. read more

I just ordered about a $40.00 order. I drive all the way back to my house which is 45 minutes away to realize I didn't get a part of my order. I called bc that burrito was almost $10.00. They basically called me a liar and after I rechecked the bag they placed me on hold. A guy comes back on the phone and says I have to come tonight or I basically loose the money. Really ridiculous! Steak sopes were delicious. The sopes were crunchy which I loved, the sopes normally get all soggy and they fall apart but these sopes were deep fried and they didn't fall apart. The steak meat was very tasty. I will definitely get these again. My BF tried my sopes and he also said he would get these next time. This is probably the only taco place around LaGrange road that has continued to strive. All of the food is delicious here. The only disadvantage is they are closed on Sunday's. read more

Good Mexican,-American food. Large portions. I ordered some Mexican fare here for carry out.. Since I didn't do the actual pickup, I can't speak about anything but the food. My order consisted of 3 items. * Steak taco. When there is not a cilantro and onion option for steak tacos (carne asada), you know the place has been tailored to the American appetite. I will say that it was stuffed full with a base of refried beans, then cheese, then a lot of steak bits and more cheese on the top. * Tostada with all pastor pork. I probably enjoyed this the most out of my order. Lots of tasty pork with nice accompanying ingredients, including a nice layer of refried beans. I recommend the tostadas without reservations. *Nachos with cheese. Here was another clue that there is a strong American influence. The chips were good, but the cheese is definitely food service (like gehls). This is the stuff they put in the heated pump st the ball park. Don't get me wrong--i like them for what they are. Taco Taco is a good choice so long as you know what to expect. My inclination would be 3.5, but the tostada was pretty great, so I rounded up. read more

Still love Taco Taco. We ordered today during the "lockdown" and our food was ready fast with the same quality as usual. Our favorites are the Sopes and Tortas but we like to try new things too. Today we had the enchiladas dinner and it was outstanding! Also love the little containers of fresh salsa and the pickled jalapeños and carrots. Looking forward to ordering again soon! read more

This place have horrible cooks. Gave them 3 chances. Got Shrimp Fajitas meal and it was bland (our family and friends ordered different items and their meals were bland also). It's hard to support your local businesses when, their food isn't up to par and they act like they are doing you a favor. Please, Taco Taco, get new cooks and "level up!" Your, corn shells are hard, smell old and taste old. Your, flour shells are tight rubbery and sometimes burnt a little (hard). The only good thing I/we got was, your "elote's (corn in a cup)! I've been coming to this place for almost 10yrs. Never had a problem until now. Don't ever order chicken fajitas from this place. Please review the picture I posted below. It's shredded slop! Then after I complained he told me everyone in the area has shredded chicken in their fajitas. So I called a near by place Cocula and asked on (speaker phone). Cochlea said no fajitas meat is shredded only strips. He also stated that... it's wrong from him to give u shredded taco meat for fajitas. It's become my new go-to place for tacos in the area. I've tried the chicken, steak, and el pastor soft corn tacos w/lettuce, tomato, and cheese. The el pastor is my favorite of the three. The salsa is solid and has good heat. My daughter ordered the steak quesadilla. It's a very good portion and the char and crispiness on the quesadilla was very nice and not greasy. Bunch of steak. I stumbled on this place for some reason and I was glad I was because I went to this place for the first time and I definitely like the service, the food and all. It is an authentic Mexican spot I know in the area so far. I sometimes visit this area because my friend lives near here and I am a little bit disappointed and I really wished I have known this place sooner. It is a small spot with limited chairs inside. They offer carry out which is a good thing but for my first time, I decided to eat inside. Their staffs are nice and very friendly. They have a good selection on their menu, prices are reasonable and the service is quite fast. I was so excited to try their tacos that I was really glad that they have a fast service. Their tacos are fresh and it has a huge portion. I chose different tacos and each one of it has of course, a different flavor and all of it are seriously delicious. I can agree that it is an authentic Mexican spot based from the flavor, seasoning an all of their tacos. I only had their tacos and I am very curios to what more they can offer particularly the food in their menu that I haven't try yet. read more

I was skeptical about getting carry outs from a place named "Taco Taco!". It sounded too American. How could it be any good? Taco Taco proved me so very wrong. I ordered two tacos. One beef and one chicken. I went with soft shell because I just can't get behind crunchy shells. They came with two nice corn shells. They were topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. The meat was plentiful and flavorful. The two tacos alone filled me to the brim! The boyfriend ordered a burrito. I picked up the bag and I'm pretty certain it weighed nearly three pounds. Here was the amazing part. Unlike any of the burritos from places we normally pick up from, it did not fall apart. He was able to eat it without the tortilla falling apart, without crumbs of meat falling out, without making any mess. It was a miracle! It comes with a nice, very hot sauce, as well as some hot peppers to put on your food. We will most definitely be coming back! There may be places much closer but Taco Taco has stolen our hearts. read more

There's a tight squeeze in the parking lot, but once you get in, you're fine. Until you back out! The food here is ok. It will do, especially if you're drunk/hung over. I find that the soft shell tacos are really dried out (the tortillas that is), and there isn't much flavor/taste to it.
