We stopped here again - seem to go maybe once a year. The pizza is always the best and something we'll keep coming back for. Aiming for Italian restaurant vibes and they have rat pack music playing while having various sports programming on the multiple TVs throughout. Really wish they had prices for beers on their menu - we ordered two pints from the same listing but one was more for seemingly no reason. Think they start from $7.50+? Large pizza with pepperoni and half black olive was maybe $23. Our server was great and friendly. They close out the check with a handheld device which made it tough for us to know the final bill and using Marcus rewards and all that. Will likely be back but would appreciate happy hour or some kind of deal with drinks. They previously had signs up for HH but seems that's not on offer anymore. read more

Very nice restaurant. Staff was friendly. They have a nice variety of seating and the tables do move in the booth, which is cool. Prices are a little high, but typical movie theater food prices. Food was absolutely delicious. They make a fantastic thin crust pizza. The chairs are by far the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in at a restaurant. While these older style chairs might try to give an authentic pizza parlor style, they are absolutely the worst seats to sit on for any length of time. read more

First off...why is this place using the same name as the one down on the lower east side of Milwaukee?. The pizza is Totally NOT THE SAME in any way. We went there (here) to have a great tasting pizza being that it has the same name as the other one that IS EXCELLENT and wound up with a waxy gummy mess. And after complaining about it...we were given one in its place but decided to take it out after an hour and a half of waiting and then not being able to eat it.......we were opened the box in the car and it was just like the other one!!! We threw it away right then and there. Don't go here thinking you're going to get a Zffiro Pizza as you won't, in any way. You will have to go down to the ORIGINAL one to get that old school thin crust Italian tasting sauce type Pizza, not this mess. read more

Arrived 90 minutes early, before our movie's showtime. Was told there was a 30 minute wait to be seated, not a problem. 45 minutes later, we still hadn't been seated. When we inquired, we were told it would be at least 30 minutes to get any food out of the kitchen. If you're going to prioritize concessions orders and theater orders above sit-down customers, be upfront about it. The seating area was only roughly half full. Apparently I could have ordered a pizza from the concessions stand, received my food and been almost done eating in the time they failed to even seat our party of three in the restaurant. If you have time for a sit down meal, look elsewhere. read more

I love the idea that you can carry pizza into a movie. It's perfect. The pizza is almost as good as the East Side Zaffiro's. It's my favorite crust of any. Service is hit or miss. I'm one of those early to the theater people so I have never had a problem, but they're busy at peak times, so you can expect to wait. It's been awhile since I ate in the restaurant. We stopped in for a late family dinner on a Friday night. Their pizza has gotten more consistent over the years and when they remember to put the Italian seasoning on, it's a decent imitation of the original Zaffiros on the East Side. I really like their expanded menu and if you're in a hurry to catch your movie they can get you in and out really fast or they will page you and you can eat in the movies. Good job! 2020 Update- had a not so good meal. Garlic bread was doughy, the pizza a little undercooked and the crust tastes floury and the Spotted Cow on tap was off. It's nice to be able to grab a quick drink before a movie, especially if you're meeting people there and you're early! The bloody mary was really good and the bartender was friendly. Service on this particular day was a bit slow, but I think they were short staffed. Went there yesterday around 1pm....so it was my husband and I and one other table. Three people that worked there standing around talking.... Love their pizza and for obvious reasons with what is going on in the world haven't gone out much but was craving their pizza. Pizza came out burnt.. I mean the edges were black... My husband wouldn't let me complain but we were totally disappointed... I mean seriously you only had two orders to watch... If you're going to the movies, have some extra time and are hungry, there's Zaffiros. We were headed to see the Wolf of Wall Street under those exact circumstances so we stopped. First, the inside is really, really nice - much nicer than the grubby dive that is Zaffiros on the East Side. They tout this as a full service restaurant and encourage people to eat here even if they aren't coming to see a movie. Does anyone actually make a trip here? Well, it is New Berlin and the options are limited, so maybe? Anyway - we were pretty much the only table so our food arrived quickly. For me, Zaffiro's pizza is "ok" - I like the crunchy crust but the sauce is way too sweet and it's greasy. Balestreri's is better IMO. Service was good too but again, they really weren't busy. Overall, I think Zaffiro's works best as a convenience option - if you're having "date night" and don't really feel like moving the car 0.2 miles to the Texas Roadhouse or Chili's, they've got you covered. Also - there is a full service bar here and drinks CAN be taken into the theaters. I wish I would have known that when we went to see the Hobbit, it would have helped. read more

Oh where to begin. Took the waitress 10 minutes to take our drink order and then another 20 to give us seasoned chips, which by the way is the only thing that was part of our meal that was fantastic. My girlfriend and I ordered the BBQ pizza, which comes with grilled onions, bbq sauce and chicken. Let's just say that the whole pizza looked like trash. At first glance, you are unable to to tell where the grilled onions are, we asked for them on half the pizza. The chicken looked like it was cut by a blind man just swinging the knife at the chicken. The main sauce was the BBQ, but when I say it covered the whole pizza, that's all you taste. Between myself and my girlfriend we only ate the corner picecs, the taste was just trash. Our waitress came by and asked for refills on drinks, we said yes and then never came back with our drinks. Due to the fact that this place is attached to the movie theater, the manager is a movie theater manager. She was very pleasant and basically said that the meal was on them since I could not eat another slice. I would never let any of my friends or family members ever come to a place like this. I was really quite impressed and surprised by this movie theater restaurant chain. The mini zaffiros I've seen are fine, but more of what you'd expect to see in a theater. This was quite a step up. Table service, a full bar with great rotating taps, and a decently deep menu. We split an order of the zucchini sticks, the red pepper spread and a monster smash burger, each being refreshingly better than the previous dish, and the zucchini sticks were good already. Boy, this is another really tough one for me to write. Disclaimer up front, we have never dined in here so this review is strictly on the their carryout service. My wife and I both order a 10" pizza every Tuesday night when we go to see a movie at the Ridge. I am going to start with the good and that is their pizza. We love it! It is supper thin crust pizza, almost cracker thin, and the toppings are great. It really is one of our favorite pizzas in town. The pizza is so good it has taken this review from a 2 to a 3 because we have just decided to deal with the crappy service! We go to movies every Tuesday and I will say that in the last few weeks the service has gone downhill quickly. I let it slide the first time and just struck it up as a bad night, but then last week it happened again. I was still going to let it go, but then last night it happened again and it was the worst of them all so figured it was time to write a review. Last night it was a combination of not only bad service but rude service too. I won't bore you with all the details, I will just lend this advice! When they give you a buzzer to tell you your pizza is ready, don't bank on it working. The last two weeks I have finally went to the counter only to find out that my pizza had been sitting there getting cold the whole time. Also, they need to come up with a system for order pick ups. Do what everyone else does, have an order line and a pick up line. There are 2 people ordering pizzas and you end up waiting behind them to pick up your pizza. So bottom line is, love the pizza but need to majorly work on their service. read more

This is the third time I've been here in three weeks. I sat at the bar each time. The first time, there was a kid who did not know what he was doing at all. The other two times , Derek was there. I felt so bad for the guy. He's totally alone at the bar running up and down taking food orders, drink orders and trying to get to-go drinks for movie goers. I gotta give him props for keeping his cool and still being friendly, but the service is not good. Literally a 10 minute wait for a drink. Why isn't there another bartender? I don't blame Derek (although he needs to learn to make cocktails properly- at least ones on the menu) I blame management completely. I would be embarrassed. Pizza is awesome, though! Ok, waited about an hour for pizza and it was burnt on crust edge. Feel bad for bartender but I did hear him say he didn't know how to make a drink on the menu and did not know the house wine. Myself and two friends purchased tickets online for a 6:00 film last night. We got there an hour early to grab a drink and a burger at the attached Zaffiro's restaurant. Luckily there was only one other table in the restaurant and they were already eating, so we knew we'd have quick service. We sat at the bar and noticed there was only one employee working (except for an awkward guy in slacks/button up who we presumed was a manager despite leaning there and not doing anything). The single employee was running up and down the bar to serve people ordering/picking up pizzas to-go, answering phones, running into the back, serving us at the bar and running to the table in the restaurant. I asked him after he was struggling to finish our three drinks with the phone ringing off the hook if he was alone - he said there was another girl but she 'wasn't comfortable' in the front of the house.... what?!?! We immediately (5:15) put in our burger orders, all simple burgers. 45 minutes later with empty glasses for at least half an hour, we flagged down the bartender (who was still frantically running around trying to do three-four people's jobs) where our food was, 45 minutes was way too long for three burgers in an empty restaurant. He said something about the tickets JUST popping up in the kitchen and they were starting them then! We said we had to go to the movie and he said he would give us a buzzer and come to the theater to drop them off. Well after all the previews (10+ minutes) and 15 minutes into the movie, still no food. We went out to complain (leaving the movie we also paid for) and the man in the button up gave them to us. Well that was just the beginning. Not ONE SINGLE order was correct. ALL were on the wrong bun, NONE came with the requested lettuce and tomato, NONE had the correct sauces. The meat was cold. The fries were soggy as if they'd been microwaved. None of us ate our meals that had taken over an hour to produce. After the movie was over we went back over to the restaurant to complain to the "manager" we'd see slinking around. He was standing by a register in the dead restaurant talking to the same bartender. They saw us and the bartender came over. When we said we wanted to talk to the manager about our experience. This manager literally TURNED AROUND AND DIPPED! He went to the back of the house and literally hid from us and let the bartender handle the situation. It was so sad that this coward acted like that. The bartender recommended we reach out this way, so here we are. Noah, the bartender, was kind, attentive and doing more than his fair share of work. You can only do so much given what --and who-- you have to work with. This sucks because the theater was GORGEOUS! The dream loungers were beautiful and comfortable, the new carpeting was great. I might return to see a movie, but I would NEVER recommend anyone go to this restaurant. read more

Ordered EBF pizza. Pizza arrived and the crust was brunt. The general manager came over who proceeded to tell us because of the pizza we ordered with several toppings that was just how it cooks. No apology, no adjustment to bill. Would not recommend nor will I come back. Very disappointing. read more

Title of this review : Employees here are thieves . Writing this review on behalf of my parents experience . Will never go there myself after what happened. Sneaky, shady employees . Yelp will always reveal the truth .... My parents went and ate over the weekend . Their system was down so everyone had to pay with cash . That was explained before they sat down . That is not the issue ... The issue comes at the end of this story .... They had ordered a pizza to share and some apps .The total was around $30 dollars . My dad gave him $100. He handed him change in all singles and fives . My dad thought it looked short so he asked the waiter for their receipt . "The waiter said why do you need the receipt?"My dad said " so I know how much to tip you." The waiter was hesitant about it and finally agreed to go get it . When he gave my parents the receipt he quickly walked away . Low and behold with the receipt was $50 in change that my parents had been missing . I find it odd that the waiter wouldn't leave the receipt with the black book in the first place . Who just drops off random cash for change with no receipt either . Also when a customer asks for a receipt, why would you ever question them about it . But the WORST OF ALL was after he had dropped off the receipt with the missing money he just walked away . There was no apology or no explaining. You think he would at least try to cover up his stealing with an excuse like " I'm so sorry I forgot to give you this " or " I apologize I must have mixed up people's checks ." He just walked away quickly, which is a clear sign he was trying to pull a fast one . Little did he know my dad is an accountant / CPA. Wrong person to try to steal money from . This place is convenient due to the accessibility from the ridge theater , but I'm pretty consistently dissatisfied with the amount you pay, and how much food you actually get . It always tastes good but I think a lot of the issues at this restaurant stem from the state wide staffing shortages right now . If you order on tuesdays and get the discounts , it helps. read more

Nice location. Stop and eat some pizza and then see a movie. They had a lunch special for $7 when I stopped in. There were several choices. I picked the personal margherita pizza with Caesar salad. The server brought us some homemade chips to eat before our lunch. I had them on my previous visit and really liked them. This time though I thought they tasted like they were fried in old oil. My lunch wasn't a personal pizza it was just two small slices. They were fantastic but it was a very small serving. The Caesar salad was absolutely drenched in dressing to the point that it was unpalatable. I really loved the pizza even though I don't think the lunch deal was such a deal. Bought a large (16") parbake pizza with sausage and half pepperoni. It was $10 & change. They brought it out quickly. The toppings were very skimpy. The whole pizza couldn't have weighed but 8 oz. That explains the price!! Took it home and cooked it according to the directions provided. It was incredibly disappointing! Crust was thin and crispy as expected. Visited recently to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had high hopes, but sadly Zaffiro's fell short of our expectations. First, the things I did like. The pizza was good and iPads for the kids to play with is cool. They have some great happy hour specials too. Now on to what I didn't like. The service was poor, and management and the rest of the staff didn't seem to be focused on the customers. There was a lot of milling around by managers and servers in the bar area, but when we needed help, our server was nowhere to be found. The pizza was quite good, but very over-priced. $20 for a "large" pizza that wasn't really that big. My wife ordered a pasta dish that cost $14. It had lots of interesting looking ingredients, but was very bland tasting. There was no salt on our table, and our waitress never came back until she brought the bill. As another reviewer mentioned, there is a $2 upcharge for milk with a kids meal. Seriously? Sure, milk probably costs a little more than soda, but I have never seen that in any other restaurant. The waitress was clueless about their specials. I visited on a Wednesday and one of the specials on Wednesday nights is $2 craft beers - great deal! I tried to order a second one, but she told me that the special ended at 6 p.m. I told her that happy hour ended at 6, but the specials should go all night. Nope, she said...the daily specials end at 6 too. What??? Other things I didn't like - the bill was wrong, the waitress handed us an empty pizza box for US to put our leftovers in (she wouldn't do it), no one ever stopped at the table to check on our meals...I could go on and on. The biggest disappointment of the night was despite us telling them, they never did anything special for my daughter's birthday. For $60, we should have just gone next door to StoneFire Pizza. I love The original Zaffiro's on Brady. One of the best pizzas in the city. Unfortunately this is no where near being the same. Reminds me of the old Jeno's frozen pizzas we had growing up. And the staff......well lets just say when I went to pick up my order the pizza wasn't in a warming oven...it was sitting on marble. Yup cold marble. So the pizza was cold. Just stay away from here, never eat here, and hope it slowly closes up and we can forget this mistake ever happened. read more
