Cauliflower mole not chicken mole like I ordered.

I tried the food truck at the Palo Alto farmers market. I ordered the chicken mole plate (to go) but was served the cauliflower mole instead. I wasn't able to go back to complain. I'm sure they would have made it right. The lady was friendly and polite. Still frustrating though.

I feel bad giving this review but want to share my experience with the Yelpiverse. The mole was just ok, and the to-go container wasn't closed well (a piece of chicken got caught between the lid and container) so it leaked over my stuff. The empanadas are also just ok - they also gave us the wrong protein on accident.

I had nachos with beef, very fresh and filling. Chips may have been cheaper than expected, but everything was made fast and was really yummy.

    Decadent. Dense.

Oh.. my.. god.. I've seen their stall at the Campbell's Farmers Market for years but never tried them until they came to my work. I just know that anytime I see them in our calendar I will plan to indulge because ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Service was awesome, too. Ronnie saw the menu but because he's rather picky and not open-minded when it comes to food he left to go to our cafeteria whilst I stood in line to uncover what I have been missing for years. The chicken burrito and chocolate brownie = winner. The chicken was juicy and I loved every component inside my burrito. The brownie was decadent, dense, and rich.. *Tram approves* After we got back to our desks (we eat at our desks after the gym) I IM'd him to tell him the burrito is bomb. He regret not giving them a shot. I think the next time Oaxacan Kitchen is here he will definitely give them a shot. Yummy...

FOOD == (1/5) The tortilla for my breakfast taco was crumbly and tasteless. It does not go along with the filling which was chorizo but yet again there was no taste. I got my taco at the tent and would not get it again. SERVICE == (5/5) The worker serving us was nice and patient. Handed us the bag with a smile. VIBES == (4/5) It was an outdoor tent which has flee market vibes but there were no chairs around so we brought the food home.

Found them at the Campbell farmers market, nice place! I tried the breakfast taco and the pork taco. Pork taco was AMAZING!!! Super flavorful pork, fresh tortilla, and all the toppings. The breakfast taco was also good but if I had a choice to re-do my order I would stick with the pork tacos. Try them out!

Oh. My. Gosh. I tried the food truck in downtown San Jose, and all I have to say is the vegetarian nachos were the absolute best! The ladies had the best customer service educating my on the way they prepare their food. The habanero spicy sauce was memorable. Everything is so fresh! Tons of gluten free options. I highly recommend.

Their Mole "Negro". Should be the same color as the beans.. Didn't taste like Mole Negro either.

Super disappointed with Zaida's, especially for the price. The food truck has been coming to our Hospital for the past few weeks, and my employees warned me not to go here, but I wanted to try them out for myself. I should have listened to them because it was one of the worse Latin foods I've had. I ordered the Chicken Mole NEGRO plate ($17), a mole NEGRO tamale ($7 for 1), and a Horchata. Here is how this went.... Chicken Mole Negro Plate - Now I have had Mole negro all my life, and what was given to me yesterday was Mole Amarillo. After taking a bite, I knew that it was wrong and walked back to the truck. I asked the cashier if my order was right. Since he didnt know he asked the girl making my food, and without looking she said "yes it is". I was given back my food and sent on my way. See the attached picture, Mole negro is black, hence "negro". Not red. On TOP of that, the chicken was shredded and unflavored. Its like they put boiled shredded chicken on a plate, and put sauce on top. The flavors did not combine well, nor was the chicken seasoned. The rice was decent, but the beans were bland as well. For $17, I expected more flavor. The only SAVING grace was the fresh tortillas, they get a extra star for that. Tamale - Tasted exactly like the plate, except wrapped in a leaf. Overpriced and under seasoned. Horchata - Watered down sugar, that's the best way to describe it. I didn't even get a hint of cinnamon. Its great that they come to the hospital to serve our hard workers, but I feel like if you are going to raise your prices, at least keep your standards in place. Based on the other reviews, the food is "good" but my team and I have not had the same experience. After speaking to other areas of the hospital, they agree as well. I wanted to like Zaidas, but it was a fail. We will be passing on Zaida's food truck from now on. Thanks but no thanks.

I went to get tacos in the farmers market in Sunnyvale. They were good and very spicy with I liked. The service was fast and good.

Incredible food truck. Tortillas are freshly made and have amazing texture. The empanada is a unique take and the tacos are excellent.

I got 2 quesobirria tacos and 2 tacos al pastor, and visually everything looked on point -- the plating was clean, tacos looked well-stuffed, and the birria tortillas had that nice golden crisp. But once we started eating, we all felt the same thing: the salsas were lacking flavor. And with tacos like these, good salsa takes everything to the next level. Here, it kind of held them back. They only gave me two tiny lime pieces, and I couldn't even get enough juice out of them to brighten up the tacos. Something so simple, but it makes a huge difference. We also asked for chips and salsa (they're not free), and they never came. Honest mistake -- they were cool about it and took it off the bill -- but still, it added to the overall experience. Another thing: the nopales weren't well cooked or prepped. They had that slightly tough, raw texture instead of the tender, seasoned bite they should have. Flavor-wise, the pastor and birria were decent, but with weak salsa and barely any lime, it felt incomplete. All four of us agreed on the same thing: This place could be great if they tighten up their salsas and the little details. I'd give them another shot someday because the base is there -- they just need that extra punch of flavor to really elevate their tacos.

Chile Relleno! I…read morecame here for takeout at about 2 pm, since the nearby La Salsa has closed and I Yelped a few places. Parking: as others mention, there are only 2 spaces in front on San Antonio Road, I didn't know they had a back lot. It's on the same block as Chef Chu. Luckily there wasn't much traffic so I was able to back in which made leaving easy. Ambiance: nice. It was a bit warm waiting for my takeout order, they had the front door open. They also have a nice outdoor covered patio eating area in front, see the photo. Service: when I entered there were no other customers, only a bartender who didn't acknowledge me. I was about to yell out but Mariana (the name on my receipt) appeared and took my order. Food: Chile Relleno plate w black beans, rice, a small bag of fresh tortilla chips, and two kinds of mildly spicy salsa. The Poblano pepper was stuffed w cheese and had a tasty egg batter, covered w a red salsa like sauce. It was quickly devoured! Price: $17 + $1.55 tax + tip. Chile Relleno by itself is $10 I think. I would return to try other items. I had a hankering for a good Chile Relleno and was satisfied!

We were able to pull in but it was a challenge to leave - might be better to park in the back of the lot next door. SO first - their chips and salsa!! MY OH MY! crunchy homemade chips - I ended getting refill and loved their red salsa. I tried not to eat too much but it was hard. I loved the thickness with the right amount of salt and that salsa! SO GOOD and it comes out warm! So you want to eat it while warm! LOL Hubby got their Cochinito Pibli - which is a Mayan dish from yucatan. The pork is slowly braised in banana leaves, fresh fruit juices, herbs, and achiote. And served with the most delicious black beans and rice. I kept eating his beans off his plate! LOL... comes with hot tortillas. The only thing was I didn't realize you can choose, flour or corn. He probably would have preferred the corn but we got the flour. It was a VERY flavorful dish and delicious!! I got a special - their crab enchiladas. I was torn as I wanted to try another dish on their menu but thought since this was a special and crab season I'd go for the special. And I'm glad I did. They put so much crab into it and it had crunchy veggies within it so you had texture and everything wasn't just "soft". The only negative was I had to put the red salsa on top with my enchilada. Otherwise it lacked some flavor. A sauce would have been great. Overall it was a nice solid Mexican restaurant and we're glad we tried it. They have a lot of seating - a great bar with lots of offerings.
