Food is good and the murals are nice however it is pricey for things that don't justify a premium price. Beyond products cost more but cauliflower and potatoes don't for example. The portion sizes were ridiculously small...the grilled plate for two for example was really an appetizer plate for a peckish small teenager for $43. Service started out decent, but our male server got a little cold and standoffish after sometime. I don't know if it is because the place got busy or what but we felt awkward. The overall vibe was blase with a we're too cool for you attitude. Staff should be able to handle a busy friday night without ignoring some customers. There wasn't any real table maintenance. We had everything we ordered still on the table for awhile until we flagged down staff a few times. They removed things after knowing we wanted to order more things I felt. Honestly I find the Palo Alto location more satisfying, can't tell the right reason... maybe it's a combination of experience with staff, location, and the cozy ambiance. I am a fan of the brunch options and what they accomplished with the vegan food there. I had a great experience for a recent dinner on March 13th, especially because of the kind gentleman serving us patiently with a smile. I wish I remembered his name. So originally the plan with my girl friend was to dine at Teleféric Barcelona a couple steps away from Wildseed but their waitlist was 2.5 hours in a Thursday night! We walked into Wildseed and were greeted with a hello and "do you have reservations?" to which we felt was going to be a repeat of Teleféric but when we said that we didn't they offered us outside or the high table by the entry. We were delighted we could eat inside since it was a chilly weeknight in January 2026 and didn't mind that it was a vegetarian menu. FOOD We had the cauliflower appetizer and the beets tostadas appetizer, both of which were absolutely delicious! We didn't even think about missing meat products which I expected as a person with an omnivore diet. My friend had the orecchiette pasta and I had the tofu tikki masala. We both throughly enjoyed our dishes and even got full before we could finish! I was shocked given it was meatless. The portions aren't small but neither too big. Just right like Miss Goldilocks, the criminal would say. AMBIANCE The place is bright airy and open with a view of the happenings in the kitchen. Always a delight to be able to see your food being prepared because it shows transparency and maintains a standard of cleanliness. SERVICE Our waitress was incredibly friendly and even confirmed that our two appetizer choices were exactly what she recommends to her guests! I visited Wildseed last night for a friend's graduation celebration. It was such a wonderful experience. Starting with the ambiance, it's so calming here. We were seated by the window, and it was so nice. The entire restaurant is beautiful though. There's truly no bad seating placement. Showed up at around 6:30pm on Wednesday without a reservation and it was pretty busy. We were able to snag one of the high top tables located near the bar. We decided to order the following to share: 1) Wild Mushroom Zeppole - yum! I love mushrooms so this was a good one. Quite tasty. 2) Fries - arrived hot and crispy and served with a chipotle aioli, herb aioli, and ketchup. We liked the mezze platter (the coconut feta and flatbread were so good), the bbq smash burger (fries were hot and fresh!) and the mediterrenean salad. The many times I've gone to Wildseed they never disappoint. I'm so glad there's a restaurant that's not only vegan but also caters to gluten free individuals. The workers are very mindful about anyone's dietary restrictions explaining that there can be cross contamination in the kitchen which is valid. I also feel this restaurant is great for anyone who is seed oil free, definitely check in with your waiter if you are so they can gear you towards the right food. The restaurant is the same shopping center at the Trader Joe's in Palo Alto, parking lot can get a bit busy but it's ultimately not hard to find a parking. I love that they have a mocktail menu. I recently had their lavender mocktail, it was so cute and very refreshing! We tried English peas ravioli and corn fritters from the seasonal section. Both were delicious, ravioli had mint and basil pesto sauce that wasn't too overpowering. Texture of pasta was perfect- pillowy with a light chew not overly al dente. The corn fritters were cross between arancini and hush puppies. Lightly sweet and served with garnishes of whole kernels and aioli like sauce. In addition to the above we also ordered fries and smashed cucumbers. Finally! I can understand the Wildseed hype. I left extremely full and content and I can't wait to come back to try their other dishes. Getting together with my friend, I suggested we try Wildseed since we'd both never been. She's vegan and I don't consume dairy or beef. I made reservations for us outdoors since I brought my pup. Making reservations on OpenTable was quick and easy. I was able to change our reservation time multiple times which was convenient! After checking in, we were brought to our table. The outdoor patio is cute and quaint with a fair amount of seating for smaller and larger groups. Just a note, this is a very dog-friendly place! Please be mindful of that, especially if your dog is friendly or reactive. I appreciated our waiter bringing her water. He was an awesome server who was kind, and friendly, and we were never rushed. It was a relaxing atmosphere which I enjoyed. My friend and I started by sharing French Fries. All of the vegan aiolis were so good. The fries were soft and not crispy, though they got soggy after a bit. For my main, I had the English Peas and Ricotta Ravioli. I never get to eat pasta due to dairy and cheese so I was elated to have some. Oh my gosh, this blew me away. The pistou was earthy, light, and herby but not overpowering. Food was decent/good, but the service was extremely disappointing. We were told there were no available tables except at the high top small bar tables, so we sat there--only to be completely ignored. No one greeted us, offered water, or took our order. At first, I thought it was just an oversight because where we were seated, but my mom noticed plenty of open tables in the dining area and asked why they said there weren't any tables available in the main dining area for us. After this, I decided and checked the restaurant's website and saw many available reservations as well. Not sure why they told us there weren't no tables left???? lol... I approached the receptionist, explained that I could make a reservation if she wanted me to and pointed out that there were several still open online. She eventually seated us outside, but even then, no one came to take our order for quite some time. Meanwhile, other tables--some seated after us--were being promptly served, given water, and attended to. After a few tables after us were getting served, I realized we were being ignored I had to go inside and ask if we had a designated server. Even after we finally ordered, no one followed up, checked in, or refilled our water. It felt like we were being deliberately ignored. This experience left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. I've never been to a restaurant where we were the only ones consistently overlooked while everyone else received attentive service. It was disheartening and disappointing. I didn't have high hopes for a vegan brunch places because both vegan places and brunch places are very hit or miss, but I thought Wildseed was very good and I left feeling pretty happy. Everything on the menu is vegan including the eggs and sausage. I tried an omelette and was pleasantly surprised at how close it tasted to the real thing. I don't think I would have guessed this was not real eggs and real meat if you just gave this to me to eat. The texture and the taste was pretty spot on, and the food overall was very flavorful. One minor thing (a me thing) - the omelette did have a lot of mushrooms stuffed in it which I don't like so next time I could try asking for reduced or no mushrooms. The accompanying roasted potatoes were done very nicely. I could have used a tiny bit more salt but overall they were yummy. The sourdough bread was also toasted nicely. Service after the initial order taking was kind of nonexistent but not too big of a deal. One minor nit, for the outdoor seating, it's under a giant tree, so we kept having tree bits fall on our table, including a lot of bugs. These were minor nits though and didn't detract from the food really. My friend who is very picky about his brunch places also loved his experience here! read more

Fantastic! Must visit for vegetarians and vegans. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Plenty of space. Great location - downtown. The cocktails were nicely prepared. Tried their in house cocktail - black pink and the traditional bloody mary. Both were good. For the food, tried their Mediterranean platter ( Mezze plate green) from the brunch menu and their wildseed burger. Both were awesome. The burger was supposed to be made from Mushrooms and spinach. It didn't taste any of those but still was great, specially with their hot sauce. Great service and a friendly staff. read more

This was my second time at Wildseed and I will definitely be back! 4.5/5 stars overall, but rounding up to 5 stars. This is a staple vegetarian restaurant in the area. Food: not all dishes are "wow" which is why this restaurant lost .5 stars, but most dishes have a good composition of flavors and textures. I love that this is vegetarian friendly! Service: Quick service and they checked in pretty quickly. Dishes came out one by one but at a good pace. We had to ask for more water, but they compensated by giving us two water jugs Ambiance: very cute and lots of windows for natural light. I love the greenery of fresh plants. Such a comfy spot for lunch. I came in with my sister and we were both really impressed. I had the spicy sausage pizza and she ordered the chicken sandwich with fries. I still can't believe this place is fully vegetarian. You honestly don't even miss the meat. Everything was super flavorful and satisfying. I also tried the Wild Seed gin and tonic and it was so nice. Refreshing, well-balanced, and clearly well made. My husband (a vegetarian) and I were craving something fresh, so we decided to try Wildseed. We came around dinner time, and the patio lights gave the place such a cozy, romantic vibe. We sat outside along with lots of other guests, and the service was super friendly. There's also plenty of seating inside if you prefer. The menu is seasonal and farm-to-table, which I really appreciate. I ordered the Kale Caesar Salad with mock chicken. Since this spot is 100% vegan, it was my first time trying coconut parmesan cheese--and I was impressed. The salad tasted just like a traditional Caesar, and the "chicken" was crispy and delicious. I'd definitely order it again. My husband got the Spicy Yellow Curry with forbidden rice. He loved the balance of ginger, turmeric, and coconut, and said the spice level was just right.
