Came here on the way to my sister's house on Thanksgiving. We just needed a little something to hold us over until dinner. They offer an Indian buffet. It looked delicious! But too much food for what we wanted that day. I ordered a chicken tikka masala and my husband ordered the chicken biryani. The order took a while but they were making it fresh. We also ordered the garlic nann bread. Our meal came with rice. Prices were reasonable. I loved my chicken tikka masala! My husband enjoyed his chicken dish as well. It was very flavorful and a good size. The only thing is that (the owner or his wife) was not very friendly. She was very nice to another Indian customer who came in but not to us. Sorry no food pics we ate so fast!!

I was looking to try a new to me Indian spot to curb my craving. Zaika was a close restaurant that I hadn't tried. I ordered online which was a selling point for me. Picked up my order and I did have to wait a bit until it was ready (I placed my order pretty much when they opened for dinner on a Friday night.) The food was good and the portions were great. This will definitely be added to my regular take out rotation!

An amazing takeout/Uber eats joint finally! We were craving for spicy Indian food after our trip to Italy, with little expectations and extremely jet lagged we used Uber eats to order chicken biriyani, mutton/goat sukkah and Gongura chicken. Though a bit greasy and spicy especially the chicken but the biriyani and goat was cooked to perfection, with right amount of spice and heat. Wish the Gongura had a little more Gongura leaves but knowing it sometimes hard to find during all seasons. Overall very satisfied with the order and much just order directly instead of extra fees for third party delivery. Yet to see how the service and ambiance in the restaurant is.

Picked up Chai and it was terrible. I have not tried anything else from this restaurant. But definitely won't recommend getting chai here. It's a small restaurant in a strip mall setting, seemed to be more like a pickup only restaurant.

My wife wanted some Indian food, so we decided to get some. We ordered from a delivery app. Food came to the house piping hot and quick! Great service. The food was seasoned perfectly. I got chili chicken and chicken 65. My chicken 65 was dry. I thought if was only couple pieces here and there, but it was 90% of the chicken. The paneer was perfect. My wife added some chaat masala to the paneer to give it a little kick. If the chicken wasn't day, I would have given this place 5 stars.

This place is a hit or miss. Today I ordered Biriyani and Goat Kadai. I had to throw the Goat Kadai. It was black on color. The Biriyani and 3 huge pieces of chicken and couldn't be consumed. I added 2 pictures. Last time Biriyani was good. So sometimes it turns out fine but most times it's a miss.

If you want convenience and a good variety of Northern Indian cuisines, this is a great spot. We've gotten so many dishes there in such a short time, I was just able to capture these two delicious items! I'd also add their Kati rolls are excellent as well! Compared to many other Indian restaurants, this has a home style feel to it. Mainly a takeout place, food is solid!

Trying more Indian lately, so we were excited to try this local place. Overall, a good experience. They went out of their way to wrap the food containers in plastic wrap to prevent leaks. We got the butter chicken, Andhra style chicken fry biryani, schezwan chicken Hakka noodles, chicken momo, garlic naan and some basmati rice. While the flavor was fantastic on everything, the heat level on everything was more than we expected. At other Indian places, you can indicate what spice level you'd like and that wasn't an option here unfortunately. We tried to ask for "very mild" in the comments, but I don't think that was successful. My kids unfortunately only ate the momo for dinner as a result. And the biryani was so hot, even my husband who has a high tolerance found it very difficult to eat. The garlic naan was tasty, but it was much more garlic heavy than other places we've had it. We really enjoyed the food overall, but without being able to indicate spice level we really can't eat this as a family again. So maybe they could consider this option in the future.

TW/CW: Takeout only…read more Somerville. Home of overpriced, over-fancy, Americanized restaurants - and this one hidden gem. Good luck finding parking in downtown Somerville, but since we had good luck with that, I was optimistic we would have good luck with finding food. Walking around the historic cars that love to show off every Friday on Main Street (we learned), we walked down the pedestrian-only Division Street and got here. And I said "hmm - it had nice Yelp reviews, but I wasn't expecting a tiny takeout-only place." So we kept looking. But got drawn back here. Thanks, Dad! This is a little Egyptian eatery owned and staffed by none other than Mo himself. Here you will find a small menu of classic, authentic Mediterranean/Middle East foods that you would find in Cairo. While they were sold out of the dessert I wanted to try, the Hawawshiiii struck me as a must-eat. My dad got the classic chicken kebab sandwich. I offer the following: * Everyone's beaten me to the punch on the amazing portion size you get for the amazing price. * Everyone's beaten me to the punch on how amazing the food tastes. I devoured my hawawshiii and my dad's leftovers. The pita was so soft and fresh that his sandwich was wrapped in. I sopped up my creamy hummus side with it. * During peak period, expect a 20 minute wait for your order. But you've got peak Somerville to explore. On Fridays at 7, live music sets up so we enjoyed some music and poked into a couple of other stores to eat up the time. Not bad at all. I hope Mo Grill makes it and can expand into a full restaurant. I would love to see them succeed going forward, a most deserving and meritous owner who treats his customers with kindness, caring, and the best Egyptian food you may ever have.

He didn't mind my questions and the indecisiveness of a small child. The place is small inside and has signs up that you cannot eat in there. I have a feeling that has to be the town saying that since you could totally like two people sit front And eat a quick lunch. Minimalistic inside before a place that doesn't allow eat and dining. It makes a lot of sense. All in all I would come here again. I think the food is pretty good.

We had provided a pre selected menu beforehand so that we wouldn't have to worry about taking orders for the group (~15 of us). The restaurant was a great spot to host my dad's birthday- they didn't rush us at all and created an environment in which everyone was able to talk to each other easily. The food itself- - paneer tikka: delicious! A favorite, although there was fewer paneer pieces and more onion pieces. It was very yummy but I wish it was more balanced. Even a better balance between the onion, pepper, and broccoli would have been better. -samosa chat: great! No notes on this one. Was very yummy. - sag paneer: wasn't my favorite, there wasn't anything wrong with it, I just liked other dishes more - dum aloo: this was great! Very tasty. However, we had to keep asking the staff to bring more out instead of them keeping an eye on what dishes needed refilling. Given that we had provided a headcount beforehand of how many people were coming, it was frustrating that not everyone got to try this dish. There was lots of gravy, but not enough aloo. - Methi malai matar: was very tasty! Overall the food was very good and I'd recommend trying as many dishes of theirs as possible. The service itself was frustrating since we had to keep an eye on what needed refilling and inform the staff, instead of them bringing more food out (we were the only group in the restaurant). But that being said, other restaurants are not nearly as accommodating as masala Art. We had initially asked Chand Palace if they would be able to accommodate us and they had told us that we would only get the table for a set amount of time and we weren't allowed to bring decorations or anything like that. We will be back for sure!

I ordered the paneer platter and it was ok. I feel there was more rice than the paneer given. I wish there was a spice level option as well because I like spicy food. The web page pictures are misleading because for one the Makhni in the picture is more of a yellow curry base, whereas what I got was more of a red-orange (more so the color shown in the tikka masala image). My friend ordered the butter chicken and it was the same deal with the color, but I also have never had either dish before with a more yellow curry base so lol I just wanted to say it's inconsistent. We also ordered the Heavenly Hummus to share. Hummus was good, pita was good, but whatever was spread on top of the pita to make it a "garlic bread" was very strange tasting.
