Not even all the way melted still completely white and visible shreds

So disappointed. Usually their food is good but the pizza i got tonight was ao atrocious. You could still see the shreds of cheese because it wasnt all the way melted. It wasnt light sauce like i asked it waa a waste of money and you call and get well i can talk to a manager blah blah so i wasted money and dont have an edible dinner. Husband and kid tried a piece and won't eat it either

I've been to this place more than a dozen times and it never gets old. I'd never been there when it was overly crowded but it's a bit remote from Oxford Valley Mall and the typical places people go. I'd imagine they get quite a bit of business from Bucks County Tech H.S., which is practically next door. The pizza is great and the prices never gouged me. Out of all the pizza places around Philly (4 counties) and South Jersey, this is my favourite because there aren't any drawbacks. The people who work there always care and whenever I'm back to the area, it's one of the first places I stop for lunch. Update: I was in New Jersey, just outside New York City, and as I was returning to the Philadelphia area, I knew I had to stop here. I got an Italian Hoagie with oil and oh emm gee, it was huge and tasty and made me smile! I have to say that this is my new favourite for sandwiches since T&D Cold Cuts in Upper Darby, PA went away. The decor looks great and they added a television. What hasn't changed is the caring nature and the attention to detail.

Cheesesteaks are always good at this place. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good slice of pizza or cheesesteak.

Never disappointed! Pizza is always hot and crispy. This is an underestimated place hidden in a small shopping center.

Today, my order was a little underwhelming. I'm used to them cooking the steak through, the meat becoming dark, crispy diced shavings that pair well with the melted Cooper. My order today had a slightly undercooked, grey quality to it that also lacked in a good dash of seasoning, even if only salt & pepper. I believe I got a bit less meat on my sandwich than any other time I've been there too. As I mentioned, I believe I just caught them at a bad time or on a bad day because usually, this is the place to be!

I never watched Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones because every last loser on earth was all about it. The Beatles fucking suck and Bruce Springsteen can go shit in his hat. Pumpkin spice is for pumpkin pie and that's it, no matter what these dizzy suburban women say. So the decision to visit Johnny Longhots today was based entirely on poor reviews. The guy who ordered a sandwich to the hospital and found a cheesesteak to be "greasy" deserves to contract MRSA during his stay. The dope who complained his fries were soggy ordered his shit off Door Dash. He's lucky the driver didn't eat all of his fries. The folks who called out the teenagers who are getting their first experience working can all get bent. You weren't perfect when you had your first job. Don't forget people like you willingly locked kids in their homes during covid. It's no wonder some of them struggle with social skills and working under pressure. Have a little grace, then eat a bag of dicks for not being patient to them. Don't get me started on that dipshit from Brooklyn. That person who rated the place a one for the soda? I already know who you vote for. Onto the food - the menu is huge. There are a ton of choices with something for just about everyone. There's even gluten free options for those fucking people. There were four or five sandwiches in the running, but it was the Gritty Cheesesteak that ultimately won out on my first visit. And that's a strange decision for me because the Flyers stink and their fans are even worse. They're the worst organization in hockey. Maybe I just wanted fries on my sandwich. Yea - that's it. So the Gritty is a good amount of beef, fries tossed in Old Bay and topped with white cheddar cheese sauce atop a seeded roll. I added fried onions. The sandwich scores higher than the Flyers. I was a fan of the seeded roll which was super fresh. The cheese sauce was tasty and complemented the fries really well. They were super crispy, well seasoned and plentiful. The beef wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was tender and cooked well. All-in-all a good sandwich. The gals up front were attentive and friendly. They took my order quickly. Hats off to the kitchen for getting my food out promptly among the online orders. The place was pretty clean and had a ton of Philly Sports pics on the wall. The music on the radio was some throwback stuff - thank God it wasn't any of that mumble rap shit most kids play these days. Johnny's has a bunch of lunch specials that look worthwhile and a decent value. Locally owned spot worth giving your business to. It's a 4-star review from me that gets bumped to a 5 to spite the mopes who gave it a one.

I ordered takeout via the website which was pretty seamless. Upon entering the place was empty. I walked to the counter and there were two employees making fries and one typing on the computer. Waiting to be greeted or asked for help I grabbed some chips to pair with my sandwich and placed it on the counter. And still no look or any sort of acknowledgement from any of the employees. They knew I was there but they were distracted so I waited patiently. After about 5 mins a gentleman asked if he can help and I said I'm here for a pickup. He went grabbed my order and I paid. I showed him my check in coupon for a free fountain drink. He called what he said was his manager and explained to her I have a coupon which clearly states the business name and location, and she replied "we don't have anything like that". Ok. Cool. I didn't argue I grabbed my food and thanked them. I wanted to get the service portion out of the way because I wanted to be fair with the food as standalone since it was takeout and I don't know how the dine in experience is but one can only guess They have sticker branding on the hoagie wrap which is cool. I opened and noticed the seeded roll which was fresh and soft. When i split the sub to see the contents it was far from properly proportioned and honestly looked like two totally different sandwiches. When I opened one was full with onions to the point I had to take some off, and I love onions! But this was too much. When I ate the bread was soft had nice texture but the sandwich itself was bland. I tasted more onions than anything. The meat was just there for texture and there wasn't a lot of it. No kick from the Capicola no tang from the Genoa. It was underwhelming. I had banana peppers on the side which when I added still couldn't save it. To be named a hoagie shack and get served a disproportioned tasteless sub just resulted in disappointment. I had some great hoagies so in context my bar is set pretty high but this place even with the convenient close location will not be seeing my business going forward. Gave it a extra star for the bread. Hope your experience goes better than mines
